I still like the taste of smoked tobacco, but since discovering NETs I like the taste of vaping (much) more than smoking, so I no longer smoke tobacco except as a "test" to see what's what. I've smoked exactly two RYO cigarettes since I started vaping about 4 months ago, and each time simply shrugged and went back to vaping. I still have the (now dessicated) pouch of tobacco I had when I started vaping. Maybe it will end up being a sacrifice to a DIY NET experiment someday...
I've not even come close to exhausting the list of vendors recommended here, though I've made a pretty good dent. I've enjoyed most of them, but have found few "all day vapes". My advice for anyone looking for the "perfect" vape is to just keep trying different vendors and a good variety from each vendor, until you find the ones that "do it" for you. Though as others have said, you'll never find a liquid that tastes *exactly* like any tobacco smoke. Vapor is not smoke. It's just not going to happen. That said, there are liquids that have great tobacco flavor. I'm still searching for "better" but I already have a short list of about 3 liquids that make me make "Mmm" noises that I rarely made when I smoked cigarettes.
Of course, the liquid is only part of the equation. Some of my favorite juices have tasted vile to me in an sub-par device, so I have spent a lot more on trying devices than juice, but I'm done with that. Now it's all about the liquid. If I stopped trying new vendors right now, I could be happy vaping what I already like forever, though there's little chance of that happening
It's real tricky recommending liquids. That said, W2V Red Pirate has the closest tobacco "profile" and kick to an american cigarette I've yet to taste, though it's not my favorite. I'm sure there are others that are closer, but it definitely doesn't taste like cigarette smoke, though it does have a "dirty" and "bright" tobacco quality. The Vapenstein Paris was designed to taste like a cigarette, though I haven't personally tried that one (yet).
