HHV: my last 3 impressions during the first week; once again, I'm testing about 1ml in mini-tank on an ego-style battery before I give them a place in a larger tank.
Huntsman: earthy, leafy and the sweetness assailed me straight away. At first, the sweetness had a melon like flavor, but quickly melds with the wheat-like tobacco and then I get the maple-like flavor. This is a light autumn flavor, brings out the autumn colors to my senses and I can almost see pumpkins for some reason. There is a slight bitter, or acrid bite on the aftertaste that is NOT off putting, but helps to balance the, at times, intensity of the natural sweetness. Not as dark and musty as I thought it would be.
Legend: As noted previously, I fell in love with Serendipity and found it to be a fantastic, well-balanced light-ish flavor. Legend is darker to my senses, with a plum and raisin notes... perhaps a dark or black cherry (definitely not red cherry). Once again, it's an autumn flavor for my senses, akin to The Huntsman, and is very pleasant.
Oompa: Not much of anything. The chocolate, at this point, is like a carob/prune flavor with that signature HHV wheat-like tobacco. Truth be told, it might have been when my battery was draining, so I didn't get a hot enough hit. Will give it another week and hit it on a hotter charge.
One week in, and my first taste of Heather's Heavenly Vapes.
Overall, I am quite impressed and am enjoying the lighter tobacco and the sweetness; it's a natural sweetness, not a cloying, overpowering candy sucrose that strangles you. It's just all blended well, balancing out the tobacco. My least favorite is Dark Horse, and only because I have tasted similar with GeJ's Wrangler Light and enjoy that a tad bit more. None of these are overpowering, but neither are they weak. Balanced and flavorful, nuanced.
