Guess I ruined myself with starting out with quality too soon :) And actually liking it.

Naw... that just means that you know there are some you enjoy right out of the gate... it opens the doors for you to try other things without worrying about not finding something that hits the spot.

There is a lot of freedom in that.

I love that acrid bite at the end. Do a very slow exhale to really highlight it. After many weeks of steeping, Huntman gets lighter on the sweetness and the tobacco hits harder. Turns into a pretty good tobacco impact for HHV.

Great job overall, love the descriptions. Feeling ya on the autumn feel some of these flavors have. Keep up the good writing!

Thanks for the compliment. I'm really looking forward to these in a week or two. I'm already seeing more tobacco starting to come through on Heavenly Army, which I can't stop vaping. I need to stock up on it.

My Good ejuice stash is darkening nicely, and Wrangler Light is more flavorful, so I need to taste them all again (except Wild Turkey, which was my least favorite, so I'm giving it the most time to... improve).

That's funny, because that's close to what I was going to say in regards to HHV -- that's one of the things I liked about their tobacco, that they weren't straight "I'm slapping-you-in-the-face: that's a cigar, b**ch!" flavor, which is what I love about GeJ's Patriot, even though mine is young.

Guess I ruined myself with starting out with quality too soon :) And actually liking it.

It's where I started. Maybe some may remember I was doing the cabbage patch after the first vape! That was a different version of those juices though.

I don't remember, have you tried MountainOakVapors yet? To me (TO ME) Sunday Morning is a better version of Serendipity, and Pendragon is a better version of Legend. That's definately TO ME, many are the opposite. It seems a lot of people love one set and hate the other, which confuses me because each complimentary flavor I like for most of the same reasons, and I like all 4 for many of the same reason.

No, I haven't. HHV and GeJ have been my first branching out, having just started with Halo stuff. I have MOV on the radar. Funds are extremely tight right now, since I recently lost my job and what I did buy has to last me for a bit. So I'm glad that I'm liking them as much as I did.

Just noticed that MyVapeJuice is having a sale... *runs away crying*

Keep us posted on the job front... the market has been rough but, from what I've seen on the left coast, it has been improving. best of luck with it

Keep MOV in mind next time you order juice, I think you'll like them.

It's hard to guess who will like MyVapeJuice, I like them but they're harder to recommend. Ignore the sale, she always has sales lol. Especially on her NETs.

@ Jerms and Cannedwolf. Thanks. Will do, on both fronts.

I know my GeJ will last, because the nic level is a bit strong and gets me buzzed ;) So I have to stretch it out. But I'll probably be buying at least one more bottle of Heavenly Army -- I'm addicted to that now, and need at least another 50ml, since I'm already halfway through my first 30ml!

Shatner, yeah I did a long time ago and I don't recall being fond of it. I recall selling it half price to a friend who was taking up vaping at the time. I didn't really do it justice. I didn't vape it enough to get a taste for it.

Have you tried the peach tobacco? It's really good, imo. Different enough from Ahlusion's Peachy Criminal that I like to have it around. And yes, I've noticed we like a lot of the same liquids. :toast:

Shatner, I thought i was the only one with a cupboard full of juices. The sad reality is we will be throwing out more of those than we will vape to the end. I am going to stop ordering now for a good while if I can resist the never ending march and progression of newer and better liquids.

Does anyone know just how long a juice lasts and is still vapable? I imagine NETS don't last as long as synthetics. I have some juices which are coming onto 30 months old and they still taste like the day I got them. Some other juices I got from Vaporbomb and Strictly E-Juice lost some lustre but they were a good 3 years old!

I wonder if anyone here remembers Strictly E-Juice before they mysteriously disappeared and stopped filling orders.

holy guacamole! impressive.

Very nice Jerms. 10 wraps of a Micro wrap is amazing.

I want to build a 'cottontail' dual coil on my Octopus RBA. The vapor is amazing. It's actually too much vapor and will go through juice like crazy which seems a waste and of poor economy on good quality juices. Still, I would love to successfully build a dual coil like this just to know what producing that much vapor is like.

I saw the How-To on the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_F3Qn9BqbTk

If you don't want to see the entire video manual on how to build it just go to 15.34 mins and watch him test out his new dual coil cottontail. I've never seen anything like the vapor this guy produces on his set up.

Showing off; sizzling Serendipity on a 10 wrap micro coil, 31ga Kanthal with German silica for 2.5ohms. Built on my new Cheapie mini dripper.

.. and I thought I was lewd with my comment that stopping smoking was better for my sex life. This is definitely becoming 50 shades of tobacco :p

Yeah.. well.. so would your face!

Wait, that came out like a compliment lol.

I am not wild about Serendipity either and yet I am vaping it. I've never been a coffee vapist but I don't mind Serendipity. I don't know if it is that I like Serendipity or I just like HHV juices. They all have the most blissful throat hit, smooth but strong, a good solid thump in the throat and chest without it being raspy or rough. The vapor is silvery and thick and the base flavour is clean and pure. It makes all of HHV liquids a good experience.

If the coffee element was stronger in Serendipity I probably wouldn't finish the bottle but as it is I like it. I like that it's subtle and is integrated with the complex and layered flavour experience.

Now the Huntsman is a different story altogether. I started out not liking it much and now it's one of my favourite juices. I have it currently running at 5 volts in a Vision Eternity at 3.0ohms and it is divine. It too seems to have a little something of what is in Serendipity. It has a little something more of what I like in the Serendipity and a little something less of what I am not fond of in the Serendipity.

Dripped the last of my Serendipity from HHV. Won't find out this time what changes it makes past two months. For not being all that wild about it the bottle went quick. I did like it a lot, almost as much as Legend. I got the typical coffee and cocoa notes many others report, and of course it's silky smooth like all of HHV. Only complain is I lose the coffee notes shortly after starting to vape it, just like with Sunday Morning from MOV. It's still very good to keep vaping, but I get disappointed with those when the best flavor is the first few vapes.

I'll reorder Serendipity some day, but not until I try the rest of HHV's NETs.

Great post.

Give the Dark Horse a few more weeks. I felt the same way in the first week or two. Has it gone from clear to a beige, light olive oil colour yet? It was when mine changed that the taste changed and did actually taste like a very good analog.

If I was making HHV juices I might have called Dark Horse that because when someone first gets their order from HHV, Dark Horse is the least likely to be their favourite in a month's time. It just might be the 'dark horse' of your HHV order too..

HHV: my last 3 impressions during the first week; once again, I'm testing about 1ml in mini-tank on an ego-style battery before I give them a place in a larger tank.

Huntsman: earthy, leafy and the sweetness assailed me straight away. At first, the sweetness had a melon like flavor, but quickly melds with the wheat-like tobacco and then I get the maple-like flavor. This is a light autumn flavor, brings out the autumn colors to my senses and I can almost see pumpkins for some reason. There is a slight bitter, or acrid bite on the aftertaste that is NOT off putting, but helps to balance the, at times, intensity of the natural sweetness. Not as dark and musty as I thought it would be.

Legend: As noted previously, I fell in love with Serendipity and found it to be a fantastic, well-balanced light-ish flavor. Legend is darker to my senses, with a plum and raisin notes... perhaps a dark or black cherry (definitely not red cherry). Once again, it's an autumn flavor for my senses, akin to The Huntsman, and is very pleasant.

Oompa: Not much of anything. The chocolate, at this point, is like a carob/prune flavor with that signature HHV wheat-like tobacco. Truth be told, it might have been when my battery was draining, so I didn't get a hot enough hit. Will give it another week and hit it on a hotter charge.

One week in, and my first taste of Heather's Heavenly Vapes.

Overall, I am quite impressed and am enjoying the lighter tobacco and the sweetness; it's a natural sweetness, not a cloying, overpowering candy sucrose that strangles you. It's just all blended well, balancing out the tobacco. My least favorite is Dark Horse, and only because I have tasted similar with GeJ's Wrangler Light and enjoy that a tad bit more. None of these are overpowering, but neither are they weak. Balanced and flavorful, nuanced.

So after reading this post I decided to load up my Igo-L with Pendragon which I haven't really vaped apart from sampling a few drops a month ago for the first time. It was a timely post because I had decided to give my MOV juices a workout tonight in the Igo-L and was pleasantly taken back by Southern Gentlemen which is a musty, subtle tobacco flavour. MOV juices are not robust tobacco flavours that make you feel like you are puffing on a cigar like Gej but they are sort of like HHV juices.

You are so right about this Jerms. I would imagine that those who like HHV but find them a bit sweet would really like MOV. I can see the similarity between Legend and Pendragon. Pendragon is less sweet and more distinctly tobacco than Legend which is a really good alternative for someone who wants to taste predominantly tobacco in the NET.

All this is entirely subjective but 'that is what I got' as Nick Grimm Green would say.
If Want2Vape, Gej, MVJ and ahlusion are on the upper end of the raw tobacco experience spectrum and HHV on the lower end of tobacco experience, I can imagine that MOV is somewhere in between as a middle tier authentic tobacco experience.

It was meant to be MVJ. I edited it. Lucky I don't write my reports at work like this! There is much to be said for proofreading one's own writing. I make a lot of errors on this thread.
