I think I just found a new NET!!

Tobacco | Nude Nicotine

Their operation seems super legit and the way they go about business reminds me of the way Wlad/Ahlusion do it. A lot! I just sent the owner an email asking how he extracts. Maybe he'll say, maybe he won't. Either way. I've got a 30ml coming.

Shatner,

From the NN home page:

Update 5/21/13: This afternoon we finished formulating all our tobacco flavors and they have been taken off back-order. We are VERY excited to reveal these to the public. A LARGE amount of work went into getting the tobacco absolute flavor to be spot on, and we worked very hard to hone the flavor down as close to an analogue as we could. (emphasis mine)

Just because it's TA doesn't necessarily mean not up to snuff. Maybe NudeNicotine is like VelvetCloudVapor, with an in-house custom TA extraction setup, as opposed to simply using commercial TA. Anyway, I'll wait and see. Glad you're taking one for the team with this. Let us know how it is (as I'm sure you will).

I'll let y'all know what I think. As best as I can.

OH!!! You're right. Pics don't do it justice. Glass, especially art glass is so difficult to get god pics even when you're using good techniques. I use a light box with lights in the room off, but "photo lights" (don't knew the real name) on the outside of the box to diffuse it and cause no glare or shadows, but even then it's not guaranteed to be great.

what did you order from NN? I took a look at their site and am very interested. did you manage to get the coupon discount or was it already all used up for you too?

Cross posted from the QnJ thread:

No Name Fire Cured tobacco 6mg 50/50 PG/VG (steeped one week)

This is the one I was a little scared of, but needlessly so. Not as mild as the Turkish, but still not overwhelming, and milder than I was expecting. I won't even try to guess what tobaccos this is made from, but like the Turkish, it's straight up tobacco with nothing added that I can taste. This one is a little smokey, and it has that same roasted sweet note as the Turkish, but nothing dry here, nothing cigarette-y, it plays more like a pipe tobacco to me. You can taste just a little bit of campfire in it, but you're sitting well back from the fire, not leaning over it. Very nicely done, another two thumbs up. Again, good flavor, decent vapor, light on the TH. People that need a big TH probably will want 18-24 mg.

Wow, thank you so much for the detailed answers you've given me! I really appreciate it. :)

In a past life I was an indoor hydroponic gardener. I grew my own cooking herbs amongst other things. I also grew Orchids, but not via 'hydro'. So I have a lot of experience with indoor hyroponics, so I know all too well the difficulties like root breathing. These are what I use: http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2752196 or 8" if I can find them.

I would have 3 plants max and already have all of the all of the micro and macro nutrients, including Mycorrhiza fungus and buffered PH+ and -.

Mycorrhiza - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Yep, the reason I asked about lighting is because HPS is more of a warm color, while MH is 'cool' in color. I'll probably just use a 600W bulb of each to have the full spectrum. I have a light mover and retractable hangers, so I'm good to go there.

Once moved from a rooting box to the DWC buckets, how long does it take the plants (in general) to be ready for harvest? Any visual cues I should look for?

Do you have a good source for quality Virginian tobacco seeds?

I've mad hybrids before, but I'm not looking to do that with tobacco. At least for now. I just want some well grown and cared for tobacco leaves for extraction.

Would you mind asking your co-workers for me? I don't mind waiting. It'll be a while until I have time to set the garden up.

Shatner, you are a man of MANY talents. I am duly impressed. Cultivating orchids is notoriously difficult! What kinds did you raise?

I ordered some Sahara and got it in the mail a week ago. I liked it, but wasn't blown away by it. Last night I sampled it again and wow, this stuff is great! I don't think it's really changed in a weeks time, it just hit me last night. To me it has a slightly floral taste, a good floral taste, not perfumey. Can't wait to see how it changes in the coming weeks. Ahlusion is just amazing overall... although they are making some of my other liquids seem a little bland in comparison.

Super T
Vixen Vapors (Texas)
Liquid NRW (Germany)
SuperCigs.it (Italy)
Vape Joint (Phillipines)

here is the manufacturer's site: artisanvaping.com | Home of the Ego Booster

Ugh... I can't deal with the beeping. The article wasn't very clear about it; can yo turn off the audio completely? If so, I'm adding it to the list. :facpalm:

Floral. That makes me happy. Mine is coming in on Monday or Tuesday, along with some peach house blend.

Not sure if you tried these, but I get a floral taste from Huntsman (Heathers Heavenly Vapes) and Patriot (GoodEjuice), is it similar to either of those? I really like those.

It's a subtle floral, but it does have a floral taste to me. I love Patriot, but I don't think Sahara taste anything like it. Patriot is much more dry to me and I don't get a floral taste from it. Taste is subjective... blah, blah, blah. Haven't had Huntsman.

I didn't get the Peach House Blend, but I did get Sweet Georgia Peach. It's great. Wonderful natural Peach flavor. Think I'll have some right now, actually.

Boomer,

I did consider trying my own extraction but with my busy life and my lack of patience, I don't think I could find either the inclination or time to go through the maceration process described in Scarf-ace's tutorial thread (which is linked a few pages back). Kudos to those who have the patience and craft to perform such a labour of love. Your method however is intriguing. Is there a link somewhere that details how you do it?

This might be a stupid question but what is 'tb'? Tobacco?

I use Jello cups and PG to extract. Nothing to it. Pour PG to just cover the TB, nuke it 10 sec. Stir & chop then cover with Parafilm or Saran wrap for 24 hrs. Filter with 20cc syring with cotton ball in the bottom. The hardest part is paying $9 for one cigar. Blending tb's cost about the same as a bottle of Hangsen concentrate but you get 60 mls from an ounce of tb. Lots of variety like Green River Black Cavendish or Virginia Yellow. I've got 4 cigar flavors and 12 blending tb flavors so far.

Last night I was gifted a new Nimbus. After two failed attempts at setting up a dual-coil system, it's up and running. I've christened it with some GeJ Apple Cured. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep using it for my precious NETs. The vapor production is insane, the flavor (using Ekowool) is great, and the Filipino sun on the Nimbus makes me happy. I do wonder if dual-coiling will make me use more juice. Any NETizens out there using a dual-coil RDA for NETs?

Yeah, next time I order an aro I am gonne get the peach. Smoking cherries was great. For myself I am trying not to order a flavored aro unless I am gonna vape it at a decent pace. I noticed my smokin cherries quieted down some as it aged. Still very good, just less cherry. Dang, no I think I need to load that up as well, haha.

Shatner, where did you get the Atmizoo Roller SS-IM in 18500 mode w/ a Kick? I need a decent mechanical mod. I am not that keen on the very simple one I have which has no variable voltage. Also, I am guessing by kick you mean an Evolv Kick? I don't really know what they are but I will do some research. I am guessing it is for some form of protection in the mech mod.

Love that tank and drip tip.

I've got some Dulce Cubanito coming and I am pretty excited about it!

Alright, this isn't tobacco related, but it is PV porn. Plus, I consider this my "home" on ECF. I got some great vape mail yesterday. Not pictured are all the liquids.

There's a blast from the past. The ego booster was the first device that allowed Ego style PV's to have variable voltage. The ego with the ego booster was as long as a Vamo with a 18650 in it, maybe longer. It cost $35 at the time! I wonder how many they are selling these days.

For some reason I can't get to Super T's site. I just get 404'd. I signed up for the 'notify me when in stock" at Vixen Vapors. The other sights either don't have/list them or I don't understand what everything is- no translator.

If someone would do me a solid and order one for me from Super T. I'd paypal you even before the purchase is made. I might even make an exception to not blowing glass in the summer and make a nice drip tip for whoever helps.

It's the same 'floral' as opening a fresh pack of American Spirit yellow box. It's delicious. Pro tip: Put ~7ml in a 15 ml soft plastic bottle. It'll steep much more rapidly in smaller amounts. Shake it daily and also exchange the air. Squeeze out the air and let the bottle suck in fresh air and then shake it. You're just trying to oxidize the juice.

Interesting looking site. Thanks for the link.

If you even want to kill me: Patchouli Vanilla | Nude Nicotine

I gag on any patchouli. Terrible, terrible stuff.

I usually don't care for patchouli, either. But my favorite cologne, Creed Aventus, has notes of Pineapple, apple, ambergris and a tiny hint of Patchouli that really rounds out the scent.

Now hippies that use it to cover their funk? That smells like crap. But seriuosly, have an open mind to it because it can be used correctly. Next time you're at the mall, go to the department store to the Creed booth. Sample some Aventus. You'll change your mind.
