It's the same 'floral' as opening a fresh pack of American Spirit yellow box. It's delicious.

Delicious indeed. It was just for some reason it didn't hit me at first... Kind of like watching a TV series. You like it, but then a few episodes in, it clicks and you're like "Holy crap, this show is awesome!"

Their NETs are cloudy and yellow (not clear) a la Virgin Vapors without the floating brown chunks, and the 10 mls come in a plastic test tube... I admire what they're going for, but the comparison to a urine sample is inescapable.

Oh well. Good to know; now I know what to expect.

Shatner,

From the NN home page:

Update 5/21/13: This afternoon we finished formulating all our tobacco flavors and they have been taken off back-order. We are VERY excited to reveal these to the public. A LARGE amount of work went into getting the tobacco absolute flavor to be spot on, and we worked very hard to hone the flavor down as close to an analogue as we could. (emphasis mine)

Just because it's TA doesn't necessarily mean not up to snuff. Maybe NudeNicotine is like VelvetCloudVapor, with an in-house custom TA extraction setup, as opposed to simply using commercial TA. Anyway, I'll wait and see. Glad you're taking one for the team with this. Let us know how it is (as I'm sure you will).

I saw that. I like TA when done right, like VCV and Mom&Pop. It also makes it sound like they make their own TA, ala VCV. Well see. I'll report back and post pics if it's oily or funky.

Floral. That makes me happy. Mine is coming in on Monday or Tuesday, along with some peach house blend.

Not sure if you tried these, but I get a floral taste from Huntsman (Heathers Heavenly Vapes) and Patriot (GoodEjuice), is it similar to either of those? I really like those.

I'm vaping on some Patriot with a 4 week steep right now thru my Pro Tank and I'm not getting any floral notes at all from it; just a nice, dry tobacco flavor that reminds me of a mellow pipe tobacco. I'm loving this stuff!

Last night I was gifted a new Nimbus. After two failed attempts at setting up a dual-coil system, it's up and running. I've christened it with some GeJ Apple Cured. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep using it for my precious NETs. The vapor production is insane, the flavor (using Ekowool) is great, and the Filipino sun on the Nimbus makes me happy. I do wonder if dual-coiling will make me use more juice. Any NETizens out there using a dual-coil RDA for NETs?

I JUST bought one of these an hour ago. Here for anyone that wants one: Nimbus | Elevated Vaping

Can you set them up single coil, RPad? Yes, dual coiling will use more juice. How long are/is the wick? 1 or 2 wicks? Pics?

Shatner, where did you get the Atmizoo Roller SS-IM in 18500 mode w/ a Kick? I need a decent mechanical mod. I am not that keen on the very simple one I have which has no variable voltage. Also, I am guessing by kick you mean an Evolv Kick? I don't really know what they are but I will do some research. I am guessing it is for some form of protection in the mech mod.

Love that tank and drip tip.

I've got some Dulce Cubanito coming and I am pretty excited about it!

You can get the Atmizoo Roller SS-M here: Atmizoo Roller SS-M - Atmizoo - Mechanical - Devices They will be sold out soon, so act fast.

I got the Kick a long time ago. And yes, it's the Evolv. It's a 3 in 1 device. 1, it regulates the voltage. So you'll have the same preformace with a battery w/ 3.6v as it would with a full charged (4.2V) battery. 2, you can adjust the wattage up to 10 (plenty, imo). 3, it's a safety fuse.

Here's a Kick: http://www.vaporkings.com/The-KICK-by-evolv-p/evolv-kick.htm
That little plastic grey screw is what sets the wattage. It sits on the top of the battery, so if you need to adjust it, you remove the battery and Kick, reset, reinstall.

Another Kick source: http://www.electronicstix.com/collections/kick-by-evolv If you go with them, get a bottle of G2 Shocker juice. It's freaking awesome!!

Shatner, you are a man of MANY talents. I am duly impressed. Cultivating orchids is notoriously difficult! What kinds did you raise?

Mostly warmer climate orchids. Cattleya luteola, Cattleya violacea, Cattleya eldorado, some Dendrobiums and Paphiopedilum, which are notoriously difficult to grow. But I was successful 4 out of 5 years. The Paphiopedilum only blossoms one/year.

It's fun and very rewarding. But it's stressful, like caring for a child.

You can set them up single coil. Some people like to cover one of the air holes when it's set up that way. I'm using 30 gauge in 3/2 wrap with 3mm Ekowool. The Ekowool is way thicker than I thought it would be, so it's a short wick folder over once. I'll snap a photo of the innards later. Here's a picture of the Nimbus on an Avenger, for two Filipino suns!

Looks good. I'm f'ing intimdated as hell with making my own wick and coil. Every time I fail miserably. I get it set up, barely, looking ghetto as hell with hotspots all over. When I try to fix that hotspot, another pops up.

Every RBA I've bought has ended up in the trash can. Except for a ZAP- I sold that for what I bought it for. I have an IGO L or something like it in a drawer. But it's not set up. I dont' even know what gauge Kanthal and silica diameter I have. I do have a few pre made wick and coils. I'll use those first. Every time I look at it I get ...... off.

Is the Nimbus beginner RBA user friendly? I don't even know why the .... I bought the damned thing.

I'm checking out that Nude Nicotine site and this line from their About page made me start laughing uncontrollably:

Our nicotine base is obtained from biochemists whose products are analytically tested for content, contaminants, and overall chemical profile...

What was Tez saying before...?

I admire what they're going for, but the comparison to a urine sample is inescapable.

Cross posted from the QnJ thread:

No Name Fire Cured tobacco 6mg 50/50 PG/VG (steeped one week)

This is the one I was a little scared of, but needlessly so. Not as mild as the Turkish, but still not overwhelming, and milder than I was expecting. I won't even try to guess what tobaccos this is made from, but like the Turkish, it's straight up tobacco with nothing added that I can taste. This one is a little smokey, and it has that same roasted sweet note as the Turkish, but nothing dry here, nothing cigarette-y, it plays more like a pipe tobacco to me. You can taste just a little bit of campfire in it, but you're sitting well back from the fire, not leaning over it. Very nicely done, another two thumbs up. Again, good flavor, decent vapor, light on the TH. People that need a big TH probably will want 18-24 mg.

Dang GT!!! You write some nice reviews. And I thought I knew you! :)

I wonder if this fire cured is the same base he uses in Proudest Monkey. The description of PM says flue-cured but I'm not sure if Rich doesn't use those terms interchangeably. The description in your review could be used for the tobacco base in PM. I know Mann and I have both asked if he could do a straight up flue/fire cured.

Holy moly, the Atzimoo is $140. Not cheap but I am sure its worth it. They sell some really good quality high end devices on that site. I've blown my vapor quota for this (and probably for this year) so I will make do. Thanks for the good info on the Evolv Kick.

Vaporkings have been around forever. I think they were one of the first E-cig vendors out there peddling KR808's and early 510s. It's good to see they are still around.

You can get the Atmizoo Roller SS-M here: Atmizoo Roller SS-M - Atmizoo - Mechanical - Devices They will be sold out soon, so act fast.

I love those animated Gifs. Bill Murray is a good one. From Lost in Translation?

What's with monkeys and this thread anyway?

Edit: Nope, not Lost in Translation. Bill Murray was involved in some whiskey advertisements at some stage.

Watch the commodity markets for a sudden spike in the price of biochemist pee.

In possibly related news, my RSST tank just soiled itself. It's leaking out of the bottom seams, the metal top and bottom plate don't screw together securely around the tank anymore. Will deal with it later.
