Don't get me wrong here. I misspoke. I don't like drama when it affects me. And a g/f pulling drama BS; I can ignore it. I only lived w/ one woman: my (now ex)wife.

I know I've changed a ton in the last 8 years and especially since HS. I'm much more intellectual now and know where I'm going in life. In the winter I flame work (blow glass w/ oxy/propane torch) and gunsmith in the summer because it's too hot for me in houston to work hot glass in summer.
8 years ago, I was fresh out of a nasty divorce (no kids, just assets) and just blowing glass everyday. Aimlessly, like a machine. Same pipe, up to 100 pieces in a day. No future goals or challenges to further my skill. Now, I can make marbles, nice wine glasses/goblets, jewelry (that people actually want). I take and teach classes, fly all over for competitions.

Here's my latest work:

\shameless plug

In the summer I work with firearms. I work with (not for!) Houston PD and SWAT and some active duty sf. I customize their weapons. I'm a Glock, AR-15, Sig, Colt, Springfield, Remington, Mossberg and FN armorer. Meaning I'm an Authorized gunsmith for those companies to do warranty repair work.

My outlook on life has changed. I have very slight Asberger's. I didn't know that 8 years ago. That's a lot of where my issues stem from. Now that I know that it's much easier to just chill.

Plus I don't drink nearly as much as I used to. I was never a rager, just an ... hole.

Enough of my last decade.

How 'bout that Dulce Cubanito? I've vaped 15ml of my 30ml. I'm regretting not getting 2 60ml. :firstworldproblems:

WOW! Your glasswork is gorgeous!!! Why aren't you making drip tips and tanks...get in there before Big tobacco takes over!

:2c:
As far as relationships go, for what it's worth, I don't think every relationship needs high drama. In fact, I suspect it is a characteristic of an immature personality (male or female), or at least of someone seeking interior peace.

I admit, I was a highly 'dramatic' young woman at one time, but I have found, speaking only for myself, that life presents enough challenges that I don't choose to add unnecessary 'drama' to spice it up.

Keep in mind:

No-drama,-however-great,-is-entirely-independent-of-the-stage-on-which-it-is-given..jpg

Gorgeous artwork Shatner!

Forget the ex. They're called EX for a REASON dude. ;) My exes remain forgotten.

I'm a little obsessed with my tank of Maple Burley. It's letting me enjoy this juice all over again.

I have also wired up my Phoenix with a new 1.1 ohm coil in anticipation of the Kamry 100 that should be arriving ANY DAY NOW.

My RSST has vaped nearly its last drops of Brasileiro. What to fill it with next? Huntsman? Eden? Teabacco?

Ooh, I know. I still have my Vapists that hasn't seen a tank yet. In fact I will re-try all my Vapists, to see how they are coming along.

It is a horrible, cold and rainy day here. Won't stop me from checking the mailbox a few times. :)

Oh my how this thread has grown! Gone for a few months and it might be quicker to read a Russian novel than catch up! :toast:

Welcome back OTF. Sometimes this thread moves like wildfire, sometimes we get barely a few posts a day.

Hey, where has Thucydides gone off to?

Seems to be my day to hog the thread.

KAMRY K100 IN THE HOUSE! :)

Took me all of two minutes to figure out how to use. Looks great with a 18350 battery, almost palm-sized. Slightly gawky with 18650. I really wished I used conventional atomizers, because the matching drip shield is adorable. I got the "champagne" color which is actually a nice matte metallic taupe.

Got my low-ohm Phoenix on it... vaping some lovely clouds of Smokin' Cherries.

Had an odd experience. I've been vaping the cherry contest vape today on an ERA clone and was dissapointed by it's lack of tobacco notes. After vaping it for a while I wanted to try the vanilla contest vape to pick out the notes it has that the cherry doesn't. The vanilla lacked the tobacco notes I'd gotten yesterday too. Thinking I may be having a bad taste day, but decided to try it on the A6 I used yesterday. Boom, tobacco notes back for the vanilla. So I plan to try again with the cherry in the A6 tomorrow.

What's odd is, the drippers are about the same, both small with side air-holes, built with a micro coil on German silica. The only difference I see is, for the ERA I used nichrome 80, and for the A6 I used kanthal. Does nichrome mute certain flavor notes that kanthal doesn't? Maybe something else is going on?

Also, would it be bad form to post a less than glowing review on a vendor's thread or should I just post it here? That is if the cherry doesn't work for me tomorrow.

Wow. I had loaded up some Smokin' Cherries to comparison vape, so right now I'm also vaping some lovely clouds of Smokin' Cherries, on a 1.2 ohm dripper, on my new mechanical. I'm doing it all on the other side of the world though.

I'm going to get a K100 or K101 too.

What wattage were you vaping the cherry and vanilla at? FWIW, the cherry was much better at 7ish than it was at 8 or higher. It seemed to kill off a lot of the flavor and, at about 8.5, burned to a crisp for me. If there was a difference in your wick which either changed the surface area of the coil or messed with the wattage, that could be it. It tasted to me that the Vanilla and Cherry were the same tobacco (not sure what others got) so, I'm not surprised if one was muted, the other would be as well.

As for the review portion of your question - I am the wrong guy to answer that since I try very very hard not to show whether I like a juice or not and try to stick to the flavors. That said, if you end up not liking it, I say post it.

I know I dont need to say this next bit but, I will anyway...

Just be sure to be as complete as possible. (note - the following is for illustrative purposes only and not related to the juices mentioned)

This is bad:
I hated it. it wasnt good and gunked my atty and I'd rather be punched in the crotch with brass knuckles worn by Olympic boxing champions than ever taste this again. FAIL.

This is good:
I didn't particularly like the juice. It seemed to me that the tobacco was muted behind the fruit which was very overpowering. I think this could be better if the tobacco had more of a punch to it and the fruit was lighter and more balanced... or whatever

Feedback that is constructive can only help them make better juices. but, it needs to be constructive.

Part of why I only talk flavors is so they can see what I am tasting and determine if that was what they wanted the taste to be like. Just like anything else, I imagine you can get too close to the crating and tasting to really be objective about your own juice. Sometimes shedding light on what you get from ti may help steer the boat back on course.

just my 2c...

I was vaping it hot, the 1.2 coil on a mech, since the vanilla responded well to high heat. I also switched to my VAMO and tried it lower wattage and stilll wasn't getting much tobacco in it. The wick set-up is about as same as can be for the 2 drippers, 30ga wrapped on the same nail that I can thread a length of the silica through, but one kanthal and one nichrome. Need to research if anyone reports flavor loss with nichrome. The Smokin' Cherries is rocking on it though, so I'm done experimenting and sticking to this for the rest of the night.

I loathe nicrome. It doesn't taste the same to me at all.

Good to know! Must be the nichrome that did it then. Only reason I used it for one of my drippers is the 30ga nichrome 80 is the lowest resistance wire I have. Need to get some 28ga Kanthal for my mechanical. I want low ohms while still making a micro with many wraps.

Let us know how it tastes tomorrow on the A6.

Also - my experience with nichrome could very well be psychosomatic and shouldnt be representative... but, I swear I can taste steel when I use it and the other flavors are so much lighter. I finally picked up a couple of spools of Kanthal (I had been using smaller lengths that were ordered along with other stuffs) and tossed the rest of the nicrome I had laying around.

Anyone else have anything similar (or wildly different)?

So you know how you're on a vape supplies website, innocently stocking up on mesh and propylene glycol, and BAM a VV/VW mod just falls into your basket apropos of nothing? And on the day you just received another mod in the post?

Yeah. In my defense it was marked down to $29.95. Hopefully it (the Anyvape CVI) will turn out to be a good VAMO replacement.
