A+ Vurley. It's a perfect juice and almost perfect for what I'm looking for. Totally okay with sticking with this in my ADV rotation. So far NETs have been super dry or super moist. This is much closer to the middle just a tad on the moist side. Cool, no problem. At all. The first evening with it was horrible. I made myself green around the gills. I was dripping and it was just like having a cheek full of chaw and when you accidentally swallow chaw. Sickening. (Highbrow Vapor stuff was the same. At first it was way too much. No other new juices have been like that though.) Shot it in a carto the next day mixed with some A+ Apple River Tree blend, a few drop at a time. Today the carto is now only Vurley. Yes! After 2+ months and a few hundred $$$ I am finally landing on just a few juices. I want to move on with this part of my vape life and on to the next level.

Cross posted from the Official Quick nic thread:

No Name Vanilla tobacco 6mg 50/50 PG/VG (steeped three weeks)

An interesting take on vanilla. Other vanillas I've tried have ranged from a vanilla bean/Vanilla extract type flavor to a vanilla creme filled doughnut. This one is more like the vanilla in a vanilla wafer cookie to me. The tobacco in this one is definitely smaller font, but it's there, playing just behind the vanilla. It has a "desserty" type of sweet note the other two (the Fire Cured and Turkish) didn't have. A light, pleasant vape that won't wear your taste buds out.

I am vaping Southern Gentleman from MOV (the old era SG) in my protank and Acacia Gold - Gej in my VapeOnly BCC. I go through phases where I will have a bunch of RBA's on the go and then return to the tanks.

It's taken me a little time to work up to Acacia Gold and SG but now I am enjoying them both immensely. Both liquids are sublime, unassuming and refined. Acacia Gold was one of the last Goodejuice liquids I was reaching for before but now I am enjoying it more and more as the acquired taste effect has set in.

These are different juices representing different tobaccos (I think) and yet I detect many common features in them. Without looking at the juice profiles on the respective sites I would guess they both have virginia, giving them cigarette like qualities.

Both lack sweetness, which always is flattering about a juice for me. Non-sweet juices are the real deal. No ethyl maltol to try and artificially enhance the flavour and a good raw tobacco flavour. As much as I like sweet juices I really respect a bold realistic juice lacking sweetness. Both have subtle undertones and layers of flavour that really only present themselves when you've vaped them for a while and gotten acquainted with them.

Both have a light clean refreshing flavour. I've gotten no ill effects from vaping these along with no jitters from nic high. I can get 'full' on some juices during the day, wanting a change to something else for the accumulative and repetitive flavours, but like my old favourite cigarettes, I have enjoyed vaping these flavours all day.

Acacia Gold has a light refreshing straw like flavour. I can almost taste the 'gold' in Acacia Gold however abstract that may sound. SG seems to present a whiskey like undertone and the same full virginia like flavour giving it cigarette qualities as well.

Acadian Gold has just a slight touch of natural sweetness after the exhale. The straw notes remind me of sweetgrass. I posted something to this effect several hundred posts ago with some more detail.

Vita Bella is just getting to a steep point of about 2.5 months. The flavor I'm getting from it now is vanilla on top of Acadian Gold. A very pleasant surprise.

This seems highly problematic to me.
If I purchased any other consumable (sugar, flour, milk, juice, , beer, wine, etc.) that required that I store it for several months before use, I would probably not buy it or complain to the manufacturer. I don't quite understand why any vendor would release a product with their name on it before it was 'ready for prime time.'
I understand that the e-cigarette industry is considered the 'Wild West' however, that does not include a blanket excuse of 'well, premium juices must 'steep' for a certain amount of time.' If that is the case, then perhaps these should actually be offered at a discount, since they require extra effort on the consumers' part. For example, if I were to purchase yogurt from the grocery store and the manufacturer actually sold me a gallon of cow's milk along with a packet of yogurt culture, a dishcloth to strain it and a thermometer to monitor the yogurt's temperature while it 'steeps', I would not consider it the same as buying a premixed container of yogurt and would think twice about paying more for it.
But maybe that's just me.

It's just a matter of preference that some like these well aged. I think Vita Bella is good right away. I'm guessing Nick, the maker of GeJ NETs, considers all of them ready to go after the normal steep time of mixed-to-order juices. The fact that many juices change as they age though means some will prefer it aged longer, but vendors don't make juices with the intention that they must be aged for months before use.

Some wines are consumable new. Most take some time. Some take many years.

Absolutely agree

This popped in my head :)

Wat: You have been weighed.
Roland: You have been measured.
Kate: And you have absolutely...
Chaucer: Been found wanting.
William: Welcome to New World. God save you, if it is right that he should do so.

Love that movie ha.

Ahlusion order came in. They didn't make them 15mg. :( oh well, I'll keep asking. Will taste test them soon.

Jerms, I can't find it now, but I'm sure I've seen it (in red) on the website that A+ will not customize nic levels, and please don't ask them to.

I am loving Wild Turkey for it's cigarette likeness. I didn't like it in the first two weeks but after that I was really enjoying it. I am finding it has a good subtle flavor without any particular flavour coming to the fore. Its about a month old so I might vape it regularly in case it starts to lose it's tang after 2-3 months.

I also like Wrangler Light for the same reason.

I find it intriguing that you say that. I have a few friends who live too far away from GeJ to make the trek, so since I live close to their shop they have me pick up stuff for them. All of them have disliked the Wrangler Light because they said it tastes no where near as close to a cigarette as the M Type Lite. The reason for my intrigue isn't your palate vs. theirs, but rather what differences exist in Australian cigarettes to American since that seems to be where the disparity lies.

Well that would explain why they've been ignoring my request lol. I was under the impression they will do nic at any mg, but that must have been wrong. At least their 12mg usually hits as good as other places 16mg-18mg. The Lemon Cream I got at a high vg ratio though, so I should have gotten it at 18mg.

I like the wine analogy.

There's no law against drinking Cabernet Sauvignon or Merlot when they're "young." The consensus among wine connoisseurs, however, is that maturation through aging brings out their best qualities. By contrast, younger is better for the fruitiness of Beaujolais. (Or so I'm told; alcohol and I never cottoned to one another beyond a couple of beers per year.)

Nicotine is my preferred poison. I vape juices at every stage of their lifetimes, from infancy through Alzheimer's. The overall flavor of some juices changes markedly with age; other juices' flavor doesn't change as much; and some hardly change at all. Among those that change considerably, I like noting each stage of development along the way.

I can count on one hand (or maybe two hands) the number of juices I didn't like when they were fresh that I liked later, after ample steeping. For the great bulk of juices (and I've vaped over a thousand), however, either I like them or I don't. Whether they're in adolescence or adulthood doesn't seem to matter much to my palate.

I am fickle, though. I'm more likely to fall in love with a juice (retail or DIY) when it's new to me, then over time to slowly fall out of love with it. With certain juices I go through phases where I adore them for six months, then don't for nine months, then---wonder of wonders---find myself liking them all over again for another round.

So I'm about off from work and according to the USPS website my Ahlusion order should be waiting for me when I get home. If any of you remember, I put in, what I think, is a pretty large order from them, so I'm sure you'll be seeing my thoughts pop up on here from time to time as the juices steep, but I plan on tearing into it as soon as I get home. Any suggestions on what to hit up first? Just a refresher, here is what I got:

Dulce Cubanito 30 ml
Berry Shangri-La Tea 30ml
Black Pomegranate Tea 30ml
Caramel Pear Black Tea 15ml
Sweet Georgia Peach 30ml
Vurley 30ml
Devil Dog! 15ml
JG Blend 30ml
Peachy Criminal 30ml
Smooth Criminal 30ml

Smooth Criminal, Devil Dog!, Vurley, and Dulce Cubanito first. Then move on to the others. Ah, who am I kidding? Just enjoy them like a kid in a candy store. :toast:

Goodejuice's Organic #1 has really blossomed in just under 2 months. It was flavorful from the onset, and was the first real winner from my lot of GeJ's NETs. But now, it's simply fantastic.

It's got an earthy, leafy taste layered with flavorings that I'm still trying to place. It's sweet, yet there's almost an alcohol flavor like a rum or chocolate liqueur.

I'm just wondering why no one talks about it, since I find it a bit more complex than the reviews I've read. This is a fantastic, flavorful vape.

Kudos Nick!
