Thank you. :)

The nice thing about those pictures is I've finally figured out what devices (both mods and delivery systems) work best for me. I've now gotten the last of the list. It's nice to be at the tail end of buying something to try it only to find that I don't like it :)

Well, even if you don't like using them they still would look great on display. I have a glass pipe collection (a whole cabinet full) of pipes for display; some that I still use.

Agreed.

I'm going to post the others that I bought at one time or another that just aren't right for me...

Oh my, that is a gorgeous feast for the eyes! Food art. I can't even imagine how good it must taste.

Awesome steam pipes CW! Very nice collection indeed.

I got a new favorite "to go" set-up. I've used eGos and Twists for a long time, think it's time to retire them. Here's my K101 in 18350 with an eVod. The mech has ego threading in the well, and it fits perfectly to just tighten up the draw a little on an eVod to what I like. The mod with an 800 mAh IMR is shorter than a 650 mAh Twist, and just a little taller than an eVod. Fits in the pocket fine and is nice and stealthy.

So I was feeling ballsy, and thought I would load up my eVod with Ravyn to take to work out of town. 12+ hours with nothing to vape but Ravyn. I just opened up the glass bottle, and it's smelling like booze. I think she's fermenting lol. Just.. can't.. do it.

What is Ravyn?

New NET vendor, www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com/default.asp, looks promising. They offer 14 NETS and extracts (adding more!) with a high degree of customization available. You can select PG/VG ratio, extra flavor, shipping method, and extraction method! They utilize cold, heated, and alcohol extraction methods and their main mixologist is a molecular biologist (sound familiar?). From their website, it looks like they have set up their business like true NET aficionados would recommend and I look forward to talking with them and trying their products.

Interesting... they do custom extraction as well.

Looks like most liquids offer heat and cold extraction methods as well...

Might have to give them a go.

Thanks for posting that, Johni. Sounds like they have some good stuff. I'm curious about Conventry. I'll have to order a sampler.

Does anyone here know the difference in the end result of cold vs. hot extraction?

I just sent an email asking this and if they could share any of their extraction info. I'll update if/when I get a response.

They have some info on their site about the differences resulting from different extraction methods. Heated produces a stronger flavor with more throat hit while cold is smoother.

I know the difference when making coffee and I suspect it is only slightly related - I prefer cold brewed coffee as it makes it a bit more smooth and "deeper" tasting.

I've been looking online and there isn't a lot specific to tobacco... still digging. There is a forum post on ......... cold versus hot extraction though that may be similar enough...

Definitely post anything they come back with. I may ask as well :D

Well, that was fast...

I wrote a mini novel with questions and Clay at natural-Extracted-Tobacco.com replied almost immediately.

Items of note:
- the store opens the week of July 8. You can put items in your carty and try to check out but, the payment gateway is not connected right now
- Hot extraction is faster and produces a more bold and rich flavor whereas cold extraction takes longer and is smoother (I guess it is similar to coffee brewing) - there should be a notable difference between them
- No chemicals or flavorings are added so, no TA or WTA is used
- If it is a fruit based tobacco, real fruit is used
- They extract in pure VG and pure PG to cover as many ratios as possible
- More pictures will be coming including one of their lab setup
- Not sure if you noticed but, they offer both glass and plastic bottles. Glass is available at 15, 3-, and 60 ml
- There are some cigar flavors are only available heat extracted

So... that looks like 6 sample packs (plus some) to cover the options... 24 flavor and extraction combinations

Edit - I have Clay's permission to post the above in case anyone was wondering...

Yep, this is what I was told too. There will be apple and other fruit tobaccos in the future. I'm excited to say the least.
