I have said it before (and it was debated), but the way something actually tastes is not subjective, but our interpretations of that taste are!

Agreed whole heartily... I often wonder why people think what they taste is "gospel" even when others have stated they taste something completely different, often in a post just before their own.

Well this isn't just individual opinion on taste, I mean I am getting almost no tobacco at all and no smokiness either. I am putting it away for at least another month and then will come back to it and see if that changes. If tobacco steeped out up front and center I could see liking this a great deal.

I think your description is pretty spot on, but instead of custard I get sort of a meringue flavor from it. It's not a bad juice, but it's definitely not my cup of tea. I also think it's a big carto/clearo clogger, so even if I liked the taste I wouldn't be interested in purchasing it again.

I believe the age of your juice, storage environment, voltage applied and Juice Delivery System all factor into a Vaper's interpretation on the taste of the juice in question. That's not counting what we've eaten or drank previously to vaping said juice.

I'm the casual type Vaper, and don't over-analyze what I vape or what flavor notes are in the juice, I just go by :thumb: or :nah:, then decide if it's a re-order or not.

I should have said this, but I meant all of those things being equal. But, thanks to some meeting of the minds (I don't mind meeting RPad's mind), we'll see how these theories really pan out.

This just gave me an idea--RPad, give me a call when you can...

OK...question for all you trusted NETers out there. Talk to me about HHV Legend.

Legend...started out as Gandalf about a year and a half ago. It was a quick hit and HHV's biggest hit. Then they fiddled with the amount of extract they used (Mann was a part of that). Then they went to a new batch of extract about a year ago. And it was AWESOME!!!!!!! Many people got hooked on it. Most said it had a choco tone to it. Perhaps...but it was incredible. They ran out of that batch and the new batch was what is called Serendipity today (longer extraction time). Serendipity and Gandalf are not the same...trust me. So Adam made another batch of Gandalf with the appropriate extraction time and it has a cherry/fruity note to it but resembles a fine pipe tobacco. How close it is to the original Gandalf I'm not so sure. Anyhow, Warner Bros threatened Adam so he had to change the name to Legend from Gandalf. But it is a very well accepted flavor in HHV's lineup. I personally do not care too much for it but I am in the minority. The Gandalf from a year ago is very similar to what Dragon's Fire is now. DF is their #1 most popular flavor and would give you a good idea of what Gandalf from a year ago tasted like. For now, Legend is a fine pipe tobacco with a mild cherry-like bend...medium sweetness. Small to medium font tobacco note. It is a NET.

Oh wow. Just got a 6 pack sampler of Vermillion River. I grabbed 4 of their tobaccos (KY Premium, KY4, KY Applewood, KY Cherrywood). I've been on a quest for flavored tobaccos and RY4's lately. I like many but some are too sweet. I just wanted to get a good smooth tobacco with hints of caramel and other flaves.

I opened the KY4 bottle first and filled a freshly cleaned tank with brand new head. Wow. Just wow. Such a smooth and complex tobacco. Exactly what I've been looking for. If the other 3 are half as good as I think I'm about to make a $100 order...heh

If you like one, you will like all of them. VR has the same base flavor in all their tobaccos (except for the Joker ones).

I like Legend. Plays like a cherry Cavendish, with a very good cherry flavor. Light on the bacco, but a flavorful vape. Compared to the other sweet/dessert type HHV NETs I've had, Serendipity and Dragon's Fire, Legend reigned surpreme, but it's not on the level of Huntman for a more true tobacco experience for me. I had MOV's Pendragon, Legend, and Ahl's Smokin Cherries at the same for a bit and was in cherry-bacco bliss. The 3 all played very different, Pendragon was my favorite though.

Speaking of cherry-baccos, I have a couple ml left of cherry from the QnJ contest NETs. It was decent, though not on the level of those other 3 to me. Maybe that opinions changed since receiving it.. I know what I'll be vaping tonight.

I STILL haven't tried Vermillion yet.. I need to do something about that, heard some great things.

On a quest for flavored tobaccos huh? I dig that. Yumyumyum. Nothing like a good fruit or dessert vape, especially when combined with a good bacco. :D

Right. There is only one reality. Every person may perceive it differently, but the truth itself doesn't change.

Well, then a couple giant check marks just hit my list in my search for all day tobacco vapes. This may be the first grand slam sampler I've ever ordered. I like bakery and some fruit/candy stuff too but I can't do sweet 24/7. I'm a bourban drinker and I adore savory and deep rich smokey flavors. I've been waiting for this day. This is soooo awesome. My wife just took a couple big pulls on my pv and her eyes danced. I'm super stoked right now.

Just to give yet another take on it...

Legend, like the others mentioned, to me tastes like a cherry cavendish tobacco ( small font, as mentioned ). It do set a little stronger with age, so if you don't like it at first wait and it will get a little stronger ( not a big flavor change though in my book )

Serendipity is what makes things interesting... both are extracted from the same tobacco source but the differences in the extraction makes it come off as a coffee with a touch of tea cavendish instead for whatever reason. I like both but lean towards Serendipity just a little more. To me, the coffee notes richens it up and makes it taste just a little darker to me.

I would suggest you try their #7 Blend. I think you will probably enjoy it.
