I didn't write it but I noticed it too. I thought it tasted a little like a sweet tarts flavor (which would go well with Willy Wonka theme).

Oh, thank goodness! I'm not crazy! Those Oompas certainly are adventurous with their creative treats. :)

*Edit* Just tried Gandalf, and it has the exact same profile as the Oompa, sans cocoa.

*Edit #2* After trying Dark Horse and Pirate's Booty, I am getting a lot of the same low notes that I find in Oompa and Gandalf.

My personal impression is that Gandalf, Huntsman, and Georgia Peach tobacco are the most unique of the bunch. But that could just be my personal tastes. I really like all of them, and the subtle differences are there, but yes, there is some kind of sweet accord in there, to me, it just makes the blends very vapeable. :vapor:

Pirate's booty has a little bit more of that sweet character, which is what I think we're picking up on. Huntsman rocks in an atty, fwiw, as does the Georgia Peach tobacco, though I don't think those are in the purity line.

EDIT: have ordered some samplers from TPR. Great pricing, and a good way to offer these blends to test. I can't stop finding tobacco blends, now. I used to be in a draught.

I use to smoke Muriel Sweets - the Red Pack. Only extracted tobac that I would say was similar because of a natural sweetness is Want2Vapes - Red Pirate.

I would suggest buying W2V sampler pack and get his different tobacs to try.

I received W2V's samplers this week and went straight to the Red Pirate. Although I didn't find it quite sweet, I think it has a very smooth and natural tobacco flavor. It's the best I've tasted so far, and it actually reminds me of a cigarette more than a cigar :)

I also tried the Cold Infusion, and IMHO this one really tastes like a cigar. That's really not my thing, but I would strongly suggest it to cigar lovers.

Those are the only two flavors I've tried so far, and I'm thinking W2V's juices are excellent.

(I'm actually sampling their RY4 as I type, and my initial reaction is: YUMMY!)

What is TPR?

Huntsman is part of the purity line, but the Georgia Peach is not.

There are plenty of quality tobacco juice makers out there. You just have to do a little research on which vendors, and sometimes, which juices from those vendors are natural extracts or macerations.

My next 2 samplers will definitely be from W2V and Vaperite. I am loving my new hunt for some tasty backy juice. :)

The Plume Room. They have some very interesting looking extracts with additional flavors. Looks interesting...I am still just interested...not ready. Waiting on the big homie luce to drop us a word!

Love M&Ps stuff but have yet to try the american blend or tobacco haze.

just want to throw in Backwoods brews Backo and Hunters blend. Nice dry tobacco taste with a hint of sweetness.

Just my .02

American Blend is a lighter tobacco with hints of anise/licorice. It has a pleasant bite, which doesn't pique as much as it refreshes.

Haven't tried Haze!? If there is any juice that could be considered a flagship juice in the M&P arsenal, it is definitely Haze. Deep, rich, and full-bodied, but not harsh in any way. There is an overtone of sweet and creamy hazelnut with a dark-ish tobacco base. easily my favorite M&P vape.

I agree with the description of Backo, but Hunter's Blend has elements of hazelnut and woodsy hickory/mesquite, which are strong at first, but eventually fade as the tobacco takes the forefront. HB is another well rounded full-bodied vape.

Thanks. Just checked them out. The price on the 3x10ml sampler is awesome ($9)!

The one thing I am not crazy about is the 15pg/85vg. That's some thick sauce. Mmmm Hmmm. It should still be very carto-friendly at that ratio, though.

I just tried the Morley from W2V and like it a lot. I find it very sweet and smooth, similar to BWB's 555e.

I'm wondering if it's a natural tobacco extract. Can one of you experts please enlighten me?

While I'm the furthest thing from an "expert," I don't think Morley is extracted. I say this because it's not in the premium tobacco or vapenstein section on Want2Vape's website. I think only those two categories are extracted liquids.

I just got my Plume Room order today. My first thoughts are that these are more in the flavor profile of Vaperite. So far two out of the three tobaccos are pretty good. I'll post my thoughts in a few days/week after they have time to steep. If you're curious, at $9 for 30ml it's pretty darn cheap!!

Which 3 did you order? rather, which one did you not order?
& which are you digging so far?

2 samplers inbound from TPR, W2V order # 2 should be arriving today. Placed an order with HHV for ....several 30ml bottles, and requested extra extractives for the Purity/other tobaccos in comments. I am stocked on juice for a while. And you know what? I'm really happy to have found this great thread, as well as these great vendors. I'll keep you folks posted.

I'm really excited about these blends with extra extractives, I mean the taste of each is so unique and fulfilling, to think it can get better is almost insanity!

I order Honey Fig, Burley and Candy, and the Ramaglia's Tuscano Gold. Of course that means I didn't order the Candied Cavendish. My favorite so far is the Burley and Candy. After a day the flavors are starting to change. The Tuscano tastes like flavourarts tuscano over tobacco extract, which I'm not digging.

Mann, I sampled the Vapestein Paris and IMHO it smells and tastes exactly like a Slim Jim  (enter Macho Man)

I know it sounds crazy, but I also get the distinct smell of tire smoke and/or Dale's seasoning sauce
Definitely not a fan :(

My favorites samples from W2V were the Red Pirate, which I think should get more mention among straight-up tobacco flavors, and the RY4. I imagine the RY4 must contain some NET's, as I get a very strong tobacco flavor along with the sweet caramel and vanilla. Anyone know for sure?

I said that Paris was "tougher than leather", maybe I should have said it tasted like leather. LOL. I don't recommend Paris to anyone per se, but if you are, as I have said, wanting to "take a walk on the wild side" then try it. I really like it, but it is N O T for everyone, and is barely for some! It seriously puts me in my place when I vape it...that's a good place, but a very lonely place as well. HA!
