I'm going to have Luigi mix me up a mess of NET's with different fruit flavors (the standard fare: peach, cherry, blueberry, etc.) and see what shakes loose. What ones do you think would marry up well with fruit flavors: Patriot? Perique? Acadian Gold? Suggestions and input most welcome.

Organic #1 already has an almost cherry flavor I detected... so some cherry or banana might mix well with it. Wrangler Light might be tasty with some peach or blueberry or strawberry :) I haven't tried enough to give better suggestions, however.

Let us know how it turns out.

I'd go with Acadian Gold first, it's a simpler tobacco and should compliment milder fruits like Peach or Blueberry. Patriot is a Blended Cigar type go with Black Cherry if possible, if not Cherry by default.

Disagree on fancy. It's a dirty Euro cig that will try to sleep with your wife and daughter. Delicious vape though.

Congratulations on completing this post without using the word "surrender."*

*Pardon mon conception générale et superficielle

Paris is Vincent Cassel in Irréversible, not Louis Jourdan in Gigi.

Nobody makes a blackberry tobacco except me. I'd love to try Vita Berry... oh my GOD I'm getting a vapegasm just thinking about it.

Just received my Vmod XL and have baptized it with Proudest Monkey. Lovely fluffy fragrant tobacco clouds are steaming up the room. Cats are giving me peevish glares.

Sometime since my last GEJ order, they raised international shipping prices to astronomical levels. Someone is going to have to do a Patriot/Vita replenish for me.

By the way, all parcels that I promised to mail, have been mailed today. Some are included in others, so if you get one and it has a sub-parcel saying "please mail to XYZ" be nice and don't pinch it. :)

That's good, because the description says peanuts. I don't like nuts or nuttiness :)

Ok, Jef. I just had a little email convo w/ Clark over at Nicoticket. He said that if you don't like nuts don't order H1N1; the peanuts come with some time.

I vaped about 3ml of it. It's really interesting stuff. The NET/TA hybrid plays tricks. One puff will taste NETty and one will taste ashy like good TA. Or the right amount. I've put it away and will get back to it in a couple of weeks. I ... hate aging new liquid.

Sahara Blend from www.ahlusion.com

The Juice: Sahara Blend, received June 3rd, at 50/50 vg/pg and 12mg nic. It's described as "A non-aromatic blend based on slightly sweet Turkish and domestic (bright Virginia) blends."

The Hardware: IGO-S build with Ekowool and Kanthal 28awg at 1 ohm on V3 Sentinel mech clone. ERA build with German silica and Kanthal 31awg at 2.6 ohms on VAMO. (I prefered the flavor with the Ekowool over the German silica for this one, a first for a tobacco vape for me).

Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best.

Sweetness: 2. How sweet this comes across seems to fluctuate for me. Sometimes there's a noticable sweetness, reminiscent to cane sugar, and sometimes it's very dry. Usually it's a slight leafy sweetness peaking from an overall dry vape. There's also a powdery mouthfeel that comes across as physically dry.

Tobacco Impact: 4. Sahara Blend is a medium tobacco through and through to me, neither mild nor aggressive. I moved the impact up a point because of the high complexity. During a slow exhale, there's a little spiciness to it. The spice is a lot like pepper, and very similar to the normal nicotine pepper-like spice, but different in a way I can't explain, other than it seems to come from the tobacco in addition to the nic. There's some noticable leafy notes that add some brightness and bite. It's hard for me to describe the flavors this tobacco provides, it's familiar Turkish and Virginia flavors, but with layers of unique and shifting notes. After vaping most of my 10ml bottle, I feel I'm not even close to having it all figured out yet.

Vapability: 5. Like other straight-up, medium impact tobaccos, I can vape this anytime. Once I pick it up, I want to vape it for a longer period than most other juices. Sahara Blend is smooth and easy to vape, but also complex and interesting, and a total shape-shifter.

Flavor Accuracy: 5. Ahlusion just nailed an enjoyable Turkish and Virginia vape. The scent is spot on, freshly opened pack of Camel cigarettes. The flavor provides layers that the smell of an unlit Camel cigarette hints at, but doesn't provide once lit. My best guess is that this contains extracted tobacco, but gets a LOT of it's flavor notes from artificial flavors. That could be wrong, but it sure doesn't play as a straight NET to me. It has some qualities that a very well made synthetic tobacco can provide.

Overall: 5. Sahara Blend is a masterwork of execution and tobacco flavor. It's just so well made, and does so many things right. This juice really has me question, does a great tobacco need to be a NET or a synthetic? Can it take qualities of both and appeal to fans of either one? I think it can, I would suggest this to tobacco vapers, whether they normally only vape NETs or only vape arti-bacco. The last thing I'll mention is the performance of this juice. I haven't been mentioning how well a juice performs in my reviews but need to here. This is one of the cleanest vaping juices of any style that I've experienced. There is almost zero build-up on the coil. I've referred to it as my atty refresher for it's impossibly clean performance.

I was thinking Alex Karas, aka Mongo from Blazing Saddles or Terence Hill, aka Trinity from They Call Me Trinity a13.gif

Slap scene from Trinity is still my name http://youtu.be/Hs3WYGRNILA

Marvelously done Jerms! I've become a huge Sahara fan too. I keep flip-flopping between it and Peachy Criminal as my favorite new (to me) e-liquid of 2013. I love how the flavor is spicy, sweet, and dry all at the same time -- very unique and very well executed.

Thanks R!

SB started out great, and kept getting more interesting as I vaped it. I'm including it with Ahl's Smooth Criminal and HHV's Huntsman as my holy trifecta of perfect medium tobacco vapes.

Anyone tried Vaperite's NET's? - $10.99/18mls or $28.99/60mls - 0/6/12/18/26 mg nic strengths

1) House Extracted House Tobacco - This is a house extracted Certified all Organic, Additive free Tobacco that I make here at the shop. I extract the essence of the raw Tobacco in PG over a three days. This produces a Real Tobacco taste because it is real but without all the chemicals and bad stuff. I don't think you will be able to find a more real tasting Tobacco Vape Juice. PG is used to extract the flavor so there is PG present in this juice. Mix available in a 50/50 PG VG mix due to extraction process. Sold in 18ml and 60ml flip top bottles.

2) Naturally Flavored Rou's Natural Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco - Went to Vapefest and came back with a nice Tobacco flavor developed on the spot by Miss Rou and myself. We took natural Tobacco that I make here and added natural hazelnut flavor. Not too sweet, toasty and I think a good all day vape. Available in 50/50 PG/VG mix only due to the extraction process.

3) Naturally Flavored House Extracted Perique Tobacco - Perique (pronounced /pəˈriːk/) is a type of Tobacco from Saint James Parish, Louisiana known for its strong, powerful, and fruity aroma. Less than 16 acres of this crop remain in cultivation making it a rare Tobacco. This is a all natural Tobacco and is additive free. (That means no chemicals). I extract this Tobacco in PG/VG over the course of several days. This is a stronger very full bodied vape. This is a 50/50 PG/VG only mix due to the extraction process.

4) Naturally Flavored Kool Watermelon Tobacco - A light and refreshing watermelon flavor added to a natural whole leaf extracted Tobacco. As you vape this wonderful flavor, you will experience a cooling sensation that just adds to an already great vape!

5) Honey Horn Virginia Tobacco - This a flue cured Virginia Tobacco with a taste of honey, sweet n smooth. Available only in a 50/50 mix due to the extraction process.

6) Organic Flavored Madagascar Vanilla Tobacco - This is our Organic Tobacco mixed with Organic Madagascar Vanilla flavor. Sorta like our VR4 but with delicate creamy finish.

*Other tobacco varieties include burley, cherry cola, tuscany, cuban cigar, and peach.

I just finished 18ml/6mg Nic of Vape Rite Rou's Natural Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco, my favorite juice from VR, a slightly sweet mild Tobacco with a complimentary Hazelnut on inhale & exhale, very natural and satisfying without much TH at that nic level. This could be an All Day Vape @ higher nic for me, the 6mg was for night vaping before bed.

Organic Madagascar Vanilla was another I enjoyed, another mild Tobacco with a bit more sweetness due to the Vanilla, a bit more TH @ 12mg, I'd re-order this again.

Honey Horn Virginia was o.k. for me it was too sweet, but the Honey flavor was delicious, I'd personally would mix this 70/30, straight Tobacco/ Honey Horn, to cut the sweetness.

Have you tired any of their non-NET's? Any flavor that you can recommend?

I've always enjoyed Vaperite and still do. In fact right now I have some of Rou's Toasted Hazelnut in my Igo-L Mini-Coil. Nearly 2 years and these juices still taste as good as when they first steeped. I finished the Perique a long time ago. I don't know if they still have it but its award winning VR4 is a very good Ry4. The Madagascar is a dessert like Ry4 with extra creamy vanilla.

Recently I was vaping the Toscan which is a year old, from a second batch of Vaperite liquids I ordered and I have to say I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it despite the stiff competition these days from other vendors.

The honey horn is to date my favourite honey tobacco from any vendor.

All over the place
I got re-confirmation that Darth Vapers extract (distill) tobaccos in-house. According to Diefleu, they are also batch tested via gas chromatography for tobacco specific nitrosamines.

I feel bad for needing to get re-confirmation, but I just needed to know if they were playing it loose with their phrasing--they were not. I would like to thank Diefleu for not holding against me, my almost too-aggresive questioning.

DV doesn't have any straight forward NETs (all hybrids--tobacco + other flavor), but NETs nonetheless.

Thanks for the re-confirmation.

I just don't care for anything with a "Star Wars" influence. Really. It gets old really fast. Never been a fan, and I'm a horror/sci-fi type of guy. Never big on the Lucas. I'd rather shop at "Planet of the Vapes."

Your willingness to investigate and report is commendable J. Thanks for doing that. I've never even checked out Darth Vaper's site, so will do that soon. Does distill refer to a different extraction method than maceration? I forget if you've mentioned about their claimed extraction method on this thread or if you've tried, or plan on trying their tobaccos. I suppose I could do a thread search.. but ummmm I'm busy lol.

I guess like Jef mentioned, their use of Star Wars in the site name has made my desire to look into them fairly low. And I LIKE Star Wars.

That was a nice review. Thanks.

You're welcome, and thank you!

I plan on doing Dulce next. It's similar to Sahara in a few ways to me, just doesn't click is well. I'll write that either today or tomorrow.

I just got some beta samples from a non-NET vendor; some gourmet dessert juices. Pretty excited about these, the vendor uses flavors extracted in a unique way and has an interesting philosophy. I'll try to get one more NET review in after Dulce before I get distracted by these.
