Funny you should say that. Of course, I do NOT believe in coincidence, so...

Not 2 minutes ago I loaded up a sample Scarfy sent me. The Plume Room - Candied Cavendish. I was expecting a sweet hard candy cav. Ummm...no...it was...::criminy shudder:: NANNERS

Now let's get a few things straight first. I like bananas. I only like them when they are a little green though, like just between green and real yellow. I like my bananas medium rare. Once a spot appears, buh-bye. I don;t like the ripened, extra sugary, mushy nanners. I also like banana cream pie. I generally do not care for bananas as the sweetening tool in smoothies because while the sugar works I still can detect, you know, ripe banana flavor. It is is a strong flavor. I have no desire to vape it. Pass me the hot dog juice first please.

But I trust scarfy...so...::gulp::

I gotta take some time with this to give a full eval and decide where I am at. I will say this as to my first impressions...I get it. I do. I get it. The way it interplays with the tobacco is an unexpectedly perfect match. Like my wife and I. I love the Grateful Dead and Rush and Coltrane...it makes her a nervous migraine wreck. She loves the Scorpions and Ratt and Queensryche and I think that stuff is absolute clown crap. However we both love baseball, good food, the Lord, and to talk trash on other people so we make an unexpectedly wonderful couple. There is something about how banana intermingles with tobacco and how, I could see possibly, brings out the best in both of them and a sum greater than the parts that for some reason just works. It is down to a pretty incredible level on the nanners too. Like not ALL of the funkiness is absent...just the bad funkiness. Meanwhile the good funk, that stuff about banana you like, is there in a pristine form. I don;t know. It works, that is all I can say. I am not saying it is for me. I don;t even know if I will finish this tank let alone the bottle, but I can admit that it works.

Does it work for ME? 50/50 shot at best. I will let you know.

That's what I meant. Got a taste of JD on my first inhale. Taste similar but better than Whiskey or Bourbon concentrates. Definite maple on the exhale. Am I the only one that tastes this?

Johni, good to see ya! thx for the info.

Boomer, when you say 7 Iron, are you talkin Jack D? I thought Hey, Jack was the new-ish maple tabak from MOV... Never got around to trying it.

Spent some time cleaning my tanks and coils today. Purposefully vaped 5 tanks dry over the last 2 days so I could do bulk maintenance.

Been wanting to load a NET in my protank 2 and mate it with my new SID to kick off the weekend. I had a really tough choice but since the tank is a decent size I went with one I knew I would vape in short order...GeJ GJ4.

Brand new coil and sparkling clean tank. I stared at the juice for a few moments while the wicks did their job. Took a couple primer pulls and them boom....what a nice smooth tobacco'y take on ry4. I got the tobacco on the inhale and then the nice caramel and vanilla showed up on the exhale.

What a great way to start a holiday weekend. I hope everyone has a nice long weekend before the Christmas lights come in a couple weeks.

Anyone made their own natural tobacco flavors?

Yes. A considerable number of us make our own NETs from home-brewed macerations using all-natural and sometimes organic tobaccos. Our thread colleague scarf-ace is the recognized and reigning Queen of Home-Brewed NETs.

Check out her thread: Slow Cooker Extraction of Tobacco and Tea

Honestly, it happened today. It wasn't planned but it happened. I was vaping Proudest Monkey in my Ebaron Dripper after reading all the posts on it and after a while I decided to switch it out and vape Kuba Kuba in the same atomizer, also because it was mentioned. The banana in Proudest Monkey lingered and wallah, Kubanana. Quite good actually! Now given that there are plenty of knockers of kuba kuba and proudest monkey I can see many wrinkled brows and upturned noses in the house.

I must say though, Proudest Monkey has to be the best banana flavoured juice out there (and perhaps the only banana mix in a NET up until a few weeks ago). The tobacco presence of burley is knock your socks off good.

I think I might refuse trying it's new rival on account of its name. I would have had more respect for it if it was called Bananas in Pyjamas.

Don't let the name be the deciding factor for you, AB. This stuff is really good, and after a week's steep it's really coming alive. Don't make me send you a bottle...

Even if it was by accident, at least now you can see how the nanners and baccy blend together harmoniously when it's done right. It's early in the game still, but I am a big believer in the Nanner Montanner. It's really performing well and the tobacco flavors are moving more towards the front now and the nanner is stepping aside to make room.

Made a trip up to GeJ today, gonna try out NET Menthol Ice. Had to restock some Patriot, too. Ran into DirewolfUSMC, couldn't miss the truck in the lot. It was great meeting someone from this thread there, made my day. I can't believe I took the Humpback out of the car, the heat was really getting to me, all I had was my travelling menthol (50% QNJ 36mg Xtra menthol, 50% wallyworld VG). I almost never not have something to drip, but I knew I was going straight to GoodeJuice and straight back because it was so hot and I had the dog with me.

It was a pleasure meeting you as well, Pete. You're the first Forum brutha (or sista) that I've crossed paths with anywhere. Too bad it was so damn hot out and you had the pooch with you, made for a short meeting for sure. We will bump into each other again though!

I didn't, but absolutely one of the all time great characters, very underrated movie

Pete, did you catch Snatch again on Sundance last night too?

I hadn't seen it in a long time...but damnit BRICKTOP is one of my favorite characters of all time.

I'm probably going to swap out my icon soon, I'm a little nicer than Bricktop. Jef actually inspired me using that by using the Venture Brothers, which I think is awesome. Prior to that I was iconless

By the way, that nanner crap totally infected me. First my tastes, then my smells...then it attached itself to my atty and tank even after a thorough cleaning. It is THE BEAST. You need a priest to get rid of this stuff.

I can't believe you actually tried it! I like bananas medium rare also, nanner puddin, etc. I'm not too crazy about mixing food in with my tobacco anyway, damn sure not bananas!

Hey, I respect Scarfy. But damn, that stuff left a lasting impression. Not a good one either.

I then threw caution to the wind and loaded up a fresh bottle of GJ4. I couldn't wait.

It lies somewhere between Highbrow RY4 and BWB RY4. A WIDE range yes, but it shares the best qualities of each. BWB is so atypical of RY4 with its delicacy and the spun sugar instead of caramel. It is the delicate and subtle nature of it that makes it great. This GJ4 is not a subtle juice, though it is smoothe and well balanced. I don;t know. It is testing me as to whether I am an RY4 guy or not. In the last 10 minutes I went from meh, to pure love, to oh no, back to love, and now I am wondering how long I can stomach it....but chain vaping it. Odd range of initial reactions to this one. It certainly is a fine juice. We shall see.

Almost 6 months of vaping and I still can't decide if I'm an RY4 guy either! My favorite so far is Full Virginia Flake from Mountain Oak. Haven't tried GJ4 yet...

Same here dgm! I haven't tried GJ4 yet either but am pretty sure I'll like it. As long as a good tobacco is the star, an RY4 has some promise in my book. If the tobacco is in the backseat, not so much.
