Ha! How is this casual?

WARNING: Do not get this or ANY Premium blend available on Ahlusion if you're expecting yet another flavored "tobacco"! These are bold and uncompromising blends! Our Premium blends are not for the casual "tobacco" vaper.

And that's on every aromatic before the description.

But yes, "naming schemes" do carry weight.

The disclaimer helps :)

It's just the category name "Aromatics" sounds like a lovely time on the back porch at sunset sipping iced tea in the springtime :p

I'm always disappointed when I see "Zombie-juice" only to read the description and discover it's fruit punch. Every single one.

I'm liking the new categories for GeJ, however. Easy to discern.

Ohhh, I get it. You mean, like, the adjective aromatics being no different than saying "flavorful." I get it.

Yes, but disposable attys TRULY become disposable after little to no time with w2v. That's why I had to retire my w2v. Then again, slumps (I believe) happen to us all at some point.

I ordered new attys to get a better impression. One regular (no idea what brand) 510 standard resistance and one Joye 510 standard resistance. We'll see what they bring. I'm hopeful. :) I did get standard resistance this time, not low, to see what difference that makes.

I'm sorry your initial NET experience hasn't met your expectations. I think you have the right attitude though FP. I believe your patience will pay off. Hang in there FP. :)

I try thinking of a NET spectrum from small tobacco to big tobacco. There will be lots of disagreement but I'm not afraid to start one cuz I don't care what anyone thinks of me. Perhaps this would help you place yourself FP. What do I (we) mean when we say small/big tobacco? Small tobacco would be where the tobacco has less of a presence, often replaced by a sweeter flavor. Big tobacco would be where the only flavor you get is tobacco. Most vendors cater across the spectrum but they also tend to focus most of their offerings in a small range. The spectrum goes by vendor but keep in mind it is a generalization with plenty of exceptions. And I'm sure others (who give a crap) will have their version...which is OK by me because I am leaving off many vendors. A similar spectrum could be developed for individual juices as well.

From small tobacco (leftmost) to big tobacco (rightmost) by vendor....

HHV ---> NETCOM ---> A+ ---> QnJ ---> GeJ ---> Plume Room ---> W2V

I like this spectrum...makes it easier to gauge tobacco strength. Thanks, Bronze!

As others have stated, House Blend and 555 from GeJ are synthetic tobaccos. Wrangler Light is a NET, but needs a dripper to bring out its slight nuances. Don't give up on them. Since you like Organic #1 (which is even better once the colors turns really dark), give Vita Bella a try. It has a similar smoky sweetness.

Also, since you enjoyed Organic #1, might I suggest Huntsman from Heather's Heavenly Vapes, as well as Legend.

I will re-order Organic #1 and toss in Vita Bella and probably Patriot as well as Analog since everyone here is raving about that one.

I got Huntsman in the mail last week - very good stuff! Legend I have not tried - will put that one on the radar for the next order.

Well, the description/title "Aromatics" sounds casual, inviting, cozy. "Non-Aromatics" sounds as if something is missing.

To a casual observer without knowledge of tobacco blends.

Bluegrass Burly sounds downright charming, yet Devil Dog sounds fiery and harsh.

Lots can be said for naming schemes.

Devil Dog is just a nickname for Marines (Wlad is a Marine), but I get your point. Maybe rename Cocoa Blend, say, Black Plague? That sorta thing?

I just followed a link to The Plume Room... I know EleanorR loved Candied Cavendish, but not much mentioned about the other NETs. Anyone care for the Honey-Fig Tobacco? Or the Burley?

MASSIVE Vape Mail Day. Ikenvape cartos (!!!), my stogie and a pipe back from repair from EPM, a new drip tip I had to ave from Molehill...and a massive PIF sampler from Flowerpots. Among the samples was TPR Honey Fig. I have not liked honey tobaccos so far, something just funky about them to ME, but I am a fig junkie and this sounds very curious to me. Might actually bust it out today if I can snap our of my GJ$ addiction ... and the most excellent Dunhill extraction from Scarfy :). I will report on the Honey Fig soon. The Candies Cav was high quality...but just not my thing at all.

Best thing IMO is to ask about a specific liquid and state what you've already had (or maybe ask about the vendor, but it's not always so specific to the vendor's whole line). In the case of a total new-NET vaper, just state what synthetics have been tasted and what NETs are being considered and why.

I wouldn't challenge Bronze's vendor flavor spectrum, since we're talking about personal reactions, not scientific measurements. I will offer my own scale, however.

I haven't vaped any NETs from House of Liquids, Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco, TastyVapor, or Darth Vapers, so I'll leave them off my scale. I'll also omit the more obvious TA vendors (Mom&Pop, Moondrop, VelvetCloudVapor, VermillionRiver, VirginVapor, etc.).

From left to right, small font tobacco to large font tobacco (more arrows mean wider separation):

Cravin'Vapes ---> Heather'sHeavenlyVapes --->--->---> QuickNic / VapeRite / MountainOak / MyVapeJuice ---> Ahlusion non-Aros / ThePlumeRoom --->---> GoodEJuice --->---> Want2Vape / Ahlusion Aromatics (especially BlueGrassBurley and DevilDog)

A problem with the scale is that a given vendor may have a spread of its own. For instance, HHV sells a bunch of popular small-font NET tobacco blends, but they also offer one or two more straightforward and somewhat punchier NETs. Overall, I think most of us would put them on the smaller font end of the scale. A more revealing (and perhaps more accurate) list would include each NET juice by every vendor. But that's a much takes us away from the spirit of this particular exercise in entertaining ourselves.

I haven't tried yet:

HOL
Darth Vapers
Tasty Vapor
QnJ
Velvet Cloud
Virgin Vapor
N-E-T
Ahlusion Aro's except Honey Cured

I've got some exploring to do still...

A list by vendor then by specific line of or individual flavors would be awesome, but then someone has to be secretary - my guess is that's no fun for anyone.

The broad spectrums are enough to give insight into what to order and expect (without having to read 16k posts).

I enjoyed both Burley & Candy and Honey-Fig. Honey-Fig is a really interesting NET, the fig flavor comes through nicely, and overall it has a nice analog feel. I'd suggest trying Smooth & Mild from them too. It's an arti-bacco (probably) but interesting taste, and my favorite of the bunch. I've had all their baccos except one of the menthol.

HOLY FREAKING NIGHTEMARES

Indigo - Captain Ron

"Go banana's with our Capt Ron. This is our coconut infused and steeped tobacco base melded seamlessly with an awesome banana flavoring. "

Good thing it's not a NET :)

RPADTV just did a review of Capt Oorah (Oorah blended with Capt Ron), and looking forward to his review of just plain Oorah.

Honey-Fig and Burley & Candy are both fine, but Candied Cavendish is the pick of the litter. Marlboro Type, Toscano Gold, and Turkish Twist didn't impress me. YMMV, of course.

If you have VirginVapor's tobaccos on your list to try... just go ahead and cross that right off...
