Yeah, I remember someone trying Paris (or something like that) in a carto. Now, I am not saying that it can't work out of a carto, but some outfits need to be tried on with different shoes.

Square pegs don't fit in round holes! It's amusing when someone tries something like that (Paris in a carto as an extreme example) and then proceeds to raise hell about something being amiss!

Here's a comparison pic of aged Dragons Fire vs one from around the time that Mr. Mann just sent you. It seems to be on track for steeping to a dark golden brown 4 or 5 months from now. The aged one is the bottle I am currently using. I ran a quick taste test on the batch from mid-August and it contains all the familiar flavour notes, except they are much lighter. What it will be 4 or 5 months from now, only time will tell.

Bronze, I'm dying to find out your thoughts on what MM and BJ tested. Likewise MM, I can't wait to hear your thoughts on what Bronze is sending you.

It should be noted that over the past week I did leave this liquid out (in PET as it's more transparent) in front of a window on my desk (at least during the light hours of the day). I've done that now for about a week and a half and it has helped a lot. I don't like having to do that, and I generally wouldn't, but I was desperate to see if a change would occur. A change did happen from that pink water. But, it's still not ready.

My issue, my biggest issue, was that DF didn't require that kind of work before. I know I keep harping on "last year," but if the website hasn't changed its description, there's no reason to think the liquid should be different from last year.

View attachment 255915

Picture taken on gridded paper to show level of transparency. It's dark in my room right now (only lit by a small lamp) so this picture is a tad darker than it is in reality, but it's close enough to show how much it has changed.

I don't think you have DF. I'll know when BJs package arrives next week. DF needs only 7 - 10 days to develop (as do most HHV NETs). Additional weeks provide only marginal changes...according to most people (and me too). BTW, DF from the bottle should smell like soggy coffee grounds.

After flitting around different flavors today, settling in on a nice long session with BWB RY4.. try to figure this sucker out. Bringing out the variable power device for investigation. It's by far more interesting than any BWB vapes I had a while back. Very different take on RY4, tobacco heavy and I'm getting a noticable pine taste. Normally pine would put me off but it somehow works here.. I think. Weird, different, original, and maybe... wonderful?

Again, for the record, I was sent a preview bottle of the new batch of DF. That was in late May. I let it age a week and vaped it. It was identical to the previous batch. I followed up with a few people in the months that followed and they all agreed it was the same. Now Dust has confirmed it again (though he ages his stuff forever). I am still believing that MM's DF is a dud. If I recall, he said he got his in August as well.

Thanks Dust for (prematurely) breaking open your bottle of DF. I know it kills you to do that. :)

I went through all my juice stock today. I weeded out a whole bunch of them. Some I'm sendiing off, others are going down the drain. I'm lean!!! And I'm also done sampling, done buying juice feeders, done buying PVs. Just done experimenting. I'm in a replacement-only zone now.

I feel liberated!!!!

Not to be a mooch, but what are you tossing away??? I might like it...I'll pay for postage and the time to pack it even. Or I could trade for some NETS, if you are interested.

Pots, PM me your address and I'll just ship it to you. All yours. No charge. There's a mish mash of stuff in there. Don't ask! :D

I'm just glad someone might appreciate it. Even if there are only a few in there they like.

No need for apologies, honesty is all I expect, the juice is Black CHERRY, Synthetic Tobacco & a bit of TA. Personally I agree about the Black cherry being too Artificial, my newest is the Synthetic and TA blended with real Organic Fig, much better in all ways.

Ha! That could explain why the blackberry tasted odd to me, it wasn't blackberry. Maybe it will click a little better knowing the correct flavor, though usually any artificial fruit flavor doesn't click well with me since it's often more candy than fruit. I bet it is much better with the real fig.. the fig was the best part of TPR's Honey-Fig Tobacco.

Oohh how I envy you, Bronze. You give me hope. I'm only six months as a vaper and still like a kid in a candy store. Funny thing is.. I'm not unsatisfied with my gear, and I have a few liquids I really enjoy and never seem to tire of. (but give me five minutes, that could change) Yet, I still feel compelled to search the world over *just in case* there could be something better out there. It's a sick sick thing, I tell you. So I'm happy to know there is an end to this madness. Looking forward to getting off this crazy train someday too.

You framed it perfectly! :)

The more time I spend sampling juices the less time I have to vape flavors I really enjoy. I had this hope of trying every NET out there. But new ones are hitting the market faster than I can keep up. Screw it!

HHV, QnJ, GeJ, and NETCOM will do just fine for me. A few juices from each place is my comfort zone.

Too bad we didn't have all the same tastes. I could spare lots of people lots of money and headaches. Right MM? :D
