All over the place
Twik is the creation of my buddy Mark, formerly known on ECF as Mouiex. Pretty sure Mr. Mann has run into Mark around the Ahlusion cafe once or twice too.

Word? LOL! Man, Mark and I met a couple times for coffee at Avalon Bakery (he will vape ANYWHERE! haha). I consider Mouiex a friend. I hope all turns out well for his recent non-vape related stuff. Good man right there. Really good man.

Can somebody highlight the major differences in performance, durability, etc specific to vaping NET's between the vision vivi nova and the protank? I refuse to RBA...REFUSE...so I am looking at BCC's as a path to perhaps getting into a Killer or Diver and working with pre-made grecian heads (lol). Will try the Vape Only soon and am looking at the protank 2 now that they have removeable drip tip so I can get my pipe stems in there. Anyways, differences between Vivi Nova and Protank 2 (besiudes bottom coild vs. top wick and coil) in terms of taste, performance, etc? Is it plug and play? Help please!

I'm not really a fan of either the Vivis or the Protank for NETs. Vivis mute and even change flavors and for me, the Protank gurgled and spat. I still use Vivis for fruity vapes, but I VIFed my Protank to a friend who seemed to like it until he dropped and shattered it.

But since you mentioned the Killer and the Diver, while I haven't used those, I have used and enjoyed the Smoktech Terminator. It's basically a Killer knock-off, and it might even be compatible with the Greek precoiled heads, you can buy 'replacement atomizers' for it for less than the price of the Greek heads. I put that in quotes because I never actually bought the whole package, which came with a carto tank which was pretty poorly reviewed. Instead I just started with the replacement heads. It's also a lot more plug and play this way - with the Greeks, you will have to install those heads, with the Terminator you just replace the whole thing.

The Terminator is a bit fussy. I've never successfully rebuilt it (which won't matter to you anyway). It makes most carto tanks unstable - they're designed to get a surprising amount of their structure from the carto within, and the Terminator has a threaded connection in the middle of it and that threaded connection must be kept loose because it controls your juice flow. I found that the best solution was an AGR Tank (not the AGR+, it won't fit in there) as it is very stable on its own. But that also became problematic. My first AGR worked fine with the Terminator, but that got run over. The replacement AGR always leaked from the bottom. I found that the bottom o-ring was way too loose on there. Once I replaced that o-ring, it worked fine again.

Oh, and on the subject of BCCs, pbusardo reviewed a new one yesterday and loved it. It was called the Aspire BDC. I can't vouch for it, but it may be something to consider since you're talking about trying BCCs.

Damn, this is good.

"Pure steeped tobacco with exquisite aromas and all natural dark Brazilian coffee extracts that bring out notes of an exotic taste. Natural tobacco and coffee simply enhance each other's flavours. An all day superb and complex vape, with a strong throat hit and plenty of vapour."

That's how HoL describes Brasiliero and it's accurate.

Here's what I taste: I suspect the NET base is from their Cellar line, and that's not a bad thing at all.
Add a very nice coffee - dark, but not overwhelmingly strong. Exactly the right amount of cream. Exactly the right amount of sugar.

All the ingredients I noted are blended perfectly, each distinct. None mask any other.

Test Rig: SvoeMesto Semovar @ 8 watts, GP Salt and Pepper Tank, Boge SR carto.

PS: Unlike other HoL NETs, Brasiliero did not kill the carto in less than a tank. I declare this an incredible Unpossibility

With the Vision Vivi Nova ( not the Smoktech which I didn't try ) the flavor is ok but muted. The Kanger BCC's ( Evod, T3s, MT3s and both Protanks ) all work great IMO, have much more flavor than the Vivi and are easy to maintain with 5pk of heads being found for under $6, replacements are cheap. The flavor on the VapeOnly compares well to the Kanger line but ( if its not in my head ) may have slightly less saturated flavor. I don't care for the build of the VapeOnly and that is all I can complain about on it. Smoktech also has a Pyrex ARO BCC that works as good as the Kangers but they use a primer on the coil heads so you need to clean them first or risk getting that flavor for a bit.

The downside to BCC's ( all of them )... they are pressure sensitive since they work on keeping a certain amount of vacuum in order to avoid getting leaks out of the bottom. If you see a complaint about one leaking its likely caused by one of two things... They didn't assemble the unit tight enough and air is leaking past a little ( the Davide's are known for this because they needed tighted down crazy tight to not have an air leak )... or the person doesn't vape long and slow hits causing some backpressure to build momentarily ( kind of think plunger effect sort of ). The larger the tank on a BCC... the more prone they are to having pressure issues which is one reason I prefer the Mini Protank over the larger one... its the price you pay for having a larger volume of liquid but can be avoided by simply vaping a little slower than you do on a Mini sized one.

I notice muted flavor with Vivi Nova's except with Ahlusion's Mango Lassi and Orient Whisper. Both of those I prefer in VN's.

I notice the pressure thing too with all of my BCC's. I find with whatever particular BCC I am using, to keep it to 1/3 full or more, and that helps to prevent the leaking and gurgling. It's when they start getting down to less volume than than that when I see the most problems.

You're da man. And when it gets nearly black then..... :D

A month is a good bit of time. What is telling about Huntsman is: it's ready when it turns orange. It starts out rather clear yellowish, but when the orange begins to show, then you have some long pants on that Huntsman.

And it tastes nothing like High Octane. Dark Horse does, as does Torque 56. That is short pants Huntsman, which is just a tad more flavorful than never changing Dark Horse.

Aha! Another subscriber to the "if it int broke, don't fix it" brigade. I can put anything through those T2s with no problem!

I'm glad to hear of these various NETs working well in a Triton, since I just ordered a bunch of long-wick T2s.

I MUST place a NETcom order soon, their offerings are just too tempting! Big Spirit's at the top of the list, of course, and Black Cav sounds like a great evening vape (I hope it tastes as good with low nicotine since that's what I vape at night). And now there's Pumpkin Pie!

In other juice news, I reordered my beloved Vita Bella, stepped up to a big bottle of Organic (which I sampled before and liked) and threw in a sample of GJ4. I thought I didn't like RY4s, based on the couple I've tried, but after seeing all the praise for it here I've just gotta try it.

Now excuse me while I try to figure out a way to hide my credit card from myself...

couple of months, uncap for a couple of days and leave it to sulk its way into its magnificent Heathcliff state. The color should end up being nearly coffee eventually - However...Dweebie Dark Horse will stay a sorta orangey color. Wonder if there was a mix up?

Thanks, though I have had others shocked at those pics. I don't give a rat's ...., I just want them to be worth the purchase and what I wanted. I guess I have to deal with HHV now as if I never had them before. So I have to ask a newbie question (since I am no longer familiar with them), how long do these liquids take? I don't doubt that they will get better, but roughly how long?

Thus sayeth the Canadian who can't taste maple in Huntsman sheesh!

Since we are on the NT thread, I can tell you WHY I placed an order for Huntsman a couple days ago. I realized that I was JUST getting started with NET's when I first tried Huntsman. My immediate response was "who the heck makes something like this.. blech!" and I never went back to it. I have since then tried and test and vaped a LOT of NET's and I felt it was about time that I went back and give Huntsman a fair trial.

My reasoning was that if Devil Dog did not scare me, and I've settled on Apache as the standard for my pipes, what possible reason do I have to be scared of Huntsman?!

Apologies for not coming to this conclusion sooner, Hula! :)

Glad to hear it. I've got a handful on the way and I'm looking forward to trying them. I'm using Mini T3S bottom-coils today and while there's a lot to like about them, I miss the warmth of a top-coil.

I'm a builder/tinkerer by nature but when it comes to vaping, I want things to be as low-maintenance and hassle-free as possible. I'd rather spend my time building audio gear or other electronic gadgets, y'know?

The vendor has two sizes 1 & 2mm. When wet they expand another mm or so. With the yarn being inserted into the hollow Ekowool, I use, as is. The smaller fits the well of all Kangers.

TWIK looks really cool. For rebuilding an EVOD or T3S head, I'd use a single strand with the coil wrapped around it and no "flavor wick", yes? 3mm is pretty thick.

Way too quiet around here...and on a Friday!

OK, so...interesting vape mail day today and kind of unexpected too. Shipments from a trade with Sharon and a PIF from the esteemed Mr. Mann.

Sharon traded me some beloved MAPLE BURLEY as well as a healthy dosage of Devil Dog! I vaped the last of my MB 3 weeks ago and licked the bottle...and I PIF'd my last 15 ml of DD! to a veteran and pipe brother so as I AGAIN got shut out of Ahlusion store this morning this is just in the nick of time.

From Mr. Mann, a healthy sampling of A+ Carribean Blend, which I would never order for myself so i am extra happy to get a taste of...a few choice ml of 3 month steeped Axe Body Lung Spray (aka A+ Smooth Criminal)...and the much maligned mystery batch #72 of Dragon's Fire.

For the record, since MM posted photos this juice has continued to age. It is no longer pink so much as a light peachy orange with the slightest of brown tints...and you can still see through it.

I am not sure if I am getting into the SC or the DF today. I have a number of full tanks here and don't have the time to clean stuff, so only one gets the call.

Of course, my special Maple Burley tank is all ready to roll on Treebeard.

I posted updates about this (some may have seen them) but it has changed in color to be much more like what Dusty_D posted, while still being rather transparent. It's still not like how it was last year, but it's worlds away from where it was a month ago.

Flip a three-sided coin. LOL
