nttdemented, i'm curious, how did you find out about mount baker? i know it's cheap, was that the primary factor in deciding to try them out? i've noticed a lot of new vapers gravitating toward them.

and to everyone else: have any of you tried flat kanthal ribbon and gone BACK to regular wire? if so, why?

It was recommended to me by a friend. Been using them almost exclusively. Ordered a bunch of flavors of with many where duds for my taste buds but I've settled on the ones I mentioned and they are delicious! Using 12mg nic (down from 24mg) 20/80 pg/vg and 2 extra shots on my dessert vapes.

One question out of the way, do these natural extracts re-introduce unhealthy portions of smoking tobacco?

By saying "these natural extracts," there's no way for us to to speak on it really because some vendors test their batches for carcinogens and dome don't. I think no one here can argue that TSNAs (carcinogens specific to tobacco) are in cured tobacco whether burned or not, and tobacco usage and associated problems has been around since people decided to connect the dots. Now, are those dots solely related to the carcinogens? I imagine some part of it. Are those carcinogens in a high enough quantity in untested-NETs to be a problem? Doubtful if they even are there, but PLEASE don't take my word for it. You have to make that decision for your self and gamble with your own property.

Care to name a vendor that is known for doing these tests? Is www.Naturally-Extracted-Tobacco.com, e-liquids for electronic cigarettes one of them?

Almost gave up on ribbon wire because of the lag time. I tried the smallest ribbon available 0.3 and that worked with an Kick in a K-100. So I have that as a dedicated ribbon PV.

Those that do the tests, GC/MS, are few and far between. I only know of House Of Liquid, Darth Vapers and Ahlusion. Now, while they do the tests, I don't know if they ever find anything. See? It very well may be precautionary.

Ahlusion does extractions that are pretty rare, and Darth Vapers does extractions that are pretty rare. However, House Of Liquids sells tobacco liquids that are merely macerated. I bring that up because most of the tobacco liquids out are in fact macerated, or extracts from soaked tobacco in a solvent like PG/VG; since Conceptsliquids, the lab that does the testing of HoL NETs (and I believe where they're made), has a test posted of a macerated tobacco, it seems to suggest that the level of carcinogens found in a macerated tobacco are negligible at best. That may set your mind at ease since NETCOM, as well as many others, macerates tobacco.

Here is a link to the test of a macerated tobacco liquid called El Toro Guevara:Concept Liquids - Specially designed e liquid production laboratory

Well these two sound tasty as hell!

Best Smooth E Liquid Flavors, Nuffy Tobacco Blend E Juice Liquid

Cheap Natural Tobacco E Liquid, Virginia Pipe Tobacco Ecig Liquid

What is the PG/VG ratio on these? Can't seem to find anything on the site, I lean towards higher VG mixes because when I started vaping the high PG liquids I used in the beginning felt very scratchy on the throat hit for me so I went for high VG mixes on Mt Baker juices and haven't tried other higher quality high PG juices since then.

I use various ribbon (Temco and Wicked Wire) for the majority of my builds. I only use regular wire if I'm using a juice delivery system that doesn't have holes or slits. Twisting ribbon to wrap around a post bugs me.

*That 555 is not a natural tobacco. But since you are looking for a 555, give 'em a whirl. Darth Vapers makes a natural tobacco version of 555, but I have't had it. So proceed with the knowledge that you'd be the one of the first here to try it. I think Shatner may have it.

*These are all of MOV's NETs: http://www.mountainoakvapors.com/category-s/1831.htm

Just a reminder that NETcom's 20% off sale ends tonight. Coupon code: FALLNETSALE

Go get you some! I did.

In other news, I tried to wind a couple of coils today (one for my RDA and a tiny one for a T2 head) and got aggravated. I can't seem to make a neat, tight coil when winding it on the wick. Doing it without the wick is easy but then ya gotta get the wick in there. Eh... I need to think about this some more.

Mann, his second link was to the Full Virginia Flake, definitely a NET RY4, confirmed by the link you posted. nttdemented the RY4 is a Tobacco first flavor I enjoyed the 15ml I had very much, probably my favorite RY4 I've tried, all others were synthetic RY's. I have the MOV 555, haven't tried it yet, not even close to the "On Deck Circle" yet.
