NETs aren't for everybody but they are certainly for me.

One of us! One of us! Gooble gobble gooble gobble!

The new cherry NET from QnJ was my least favorite of the four, but still a pleasant vape. I'm interested in how their soon to be released Nucking Futs is going to play out. Maybe a good one for the Puros fans.

The cherry is definitely the most simple flavor so far. The qu4tro is more complex for sure. Godznilla is really good but I'm a sucker for vanilla/tobacco. Grandpa's night cap tonight for sure with my evening drink. I already know I'm going to like it.

I'm going to end up making my own extracts at some point. I can already tell. I've brewed my own beer before but it's too much of a pain to stick with. Small errors ruins large batches. Small errors with nets only ruins small batches.

I too have a very soft spot for vanilla baccos, which really helped the case for their new vanilla NET.

I have no plans to do my own extractions anytime soon, but it's really awesome to have that as a back-up in case something goes afowl in the ecig world. Scarf's slow cooker extraction is a fantastic read (as was your article for the Vape Team, Ace!).

I don't find Dover Court strong nor do I get any mothball like flavor.... but I do know that on the juices I've tried with Latakia ( not in DC, I'm giving it just an example ) I get a taste similar to what an iodine disinfecting soap smells like and I haven't seen anyone else say anything similar, back to that taste is subjective thing.

Big Spirit tastes nothing like DC to me, so you are likely safe on that one... It is my favorite followed by Coventry. I find BS to be like a medium body flavor ciggy taste, Gold is similar but slightly darker flavor by a couple of notes down the scale ( but still the in same octave range ).

Replied to this in Clay's thread. Really glad to hear BS is legit! How does it compare to Patriot? I have a sample of cold gold, Cognac cigar and a couple/few more that Clay's being cool about for making up for the mothball liquid.

I read the slow cooker article. Very very cool.

I'm worried about regulation irt to nicotine. Let's be honest, does anyone really believe being able to order huge bottles of concentrated unflavored nic juice is going to continue for much longer? I've been around long enough to know better. Sure it might but we all know the tax man is going to take their slice and it won't be small.

My plan is to get a decent stash of unflavored nic juice. Kinda like doomsday prepper style. Nobody can take away flavor, vg, or pg. But the star ingredient has a target on it for sure.

If I can make my own extracts and have my nic supply then nobody can rain on me for a while.

Nicotine juice has an expiration period that ( from what I've read ) is only good for up to a year or so

I don't want to derail the thread but it will go 2 years on a shelf in stable temps. I have a serious icebox with no defrost + a vacuum sealer that does a great job with liquids. I'll probably invest in some freezing tech when the time comes. I've kept steaks perfect for almost 3 years. I think I can probably go 5 years with liquid.

I'm not a paranoid weirdo. I just want my full freedom to last for as long as possible if the regulatory bodies decide to change the landscape.

Could that be a NET 555? I hope someone gives it a shot, could be why I like Vape Rite Naturally Flavored Rou's Natural Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco, Mild Tobacco with a Hazelnut finish, complexly simple.

Yup, the bottle I bought in March has a Best By Date of March 2014. I keep mine in the refrigerator, I might have to sacrifice a few ml to the freezer, never too early to plan... anyway degraded Nic would be better than no Nic at all.

There are lots of existing threads on storing nic, doomsday prep, etc. Check out the DIY sub forum. There are actual chemists who have posted opinions on this.

The original doomsday preppers now have three-year-old nic in their freezers. Nic has ag applications that probably make it an unlikely target for regulation.

I have a question...with NET's in plastic bottles, do I need to steep them continuously with cap off/dropper top off, or just for a few days, then recap?

Specifically GeJ and VS

I am by no means an expert on plastic, so someone call feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but here's my experience:

Most juice comes in either LDPE or PET when plastic. The LDPE, like your GeJ and VS, are softer/squishier, and more foggy than transparent. They are fine for short term storage, but will start to leach chemicals into the juice. Air is able to pass through LDPE (which can be shown by the scent of the juice detectable by smelling an unopened bottle) which would allow for faster steeping. They may steep properly without ever opening, I don't know, but it wouldn't hurt to open them for a few minutes for the first few days, or occasionally. Whether you ever open it or not, shaking on a regular basis mixes it up well and speeds up steeping.

PET plastic acts much like glass (and is about as clear/transparant). No/little air passes through it, offering slower steeping and longer shelf life. I would be more apt to open a few times for a few minutes and shaking well, just like with glass. For bonus points, the PET doesn't tend to leach chemicals and is better for medium to long term storage. Glass of course, best for long term in terms of shelf life and no leaching.

Could that be a NET 555? I hope someone gives it a shot, could be why I like Vape Rite Naturally Flavored Rou's Natural Toasted Hazelnut Tobacco, Mild Tobacco with a Hazelnut finish, complexly simple.

I'm curious to see if it will be the first NET (that I know of) that uses those three 5s in the description.

I just ordered Custard's Last Stand, Creme Brulee with Raspberry, plain Creme Brulee, H1N1 with Orange Mango and H1N1 plain. He's taking orders but is pretty backed up. He was saying a week to next Wednesday until it ships. Ok with me. He's also sending me a super beta of a Turkish NET that only 2 people (I'm 3) have tried. Pretty excited.

He also expressed interest in my hydro tobacco idea. I drew up some plans today on how to do this in an apartment maximizing space efficiency and I think I got it. There's a closet on my future balcony that could be used to cure with the aid of dehumidifiers and heaters.

I received Goodejuice's Patriot yesterday and just sampled it for the first time. My initial thoughts on the flavor are that this is clearly a strong tobacco, no doubt about it. It actually reminds me of W2V's Cold Infusion in terms of the genuine tobacco taste, like if you just licked a tobacco wrap while rolling your own. TH is very strong at 24mg and I wished I had gone lower. I'm actually surprised at how my clearomizer is reacting to the juice, as I have vaped about 1ml, which is enough to clog it up with Vita Bella and GJ4, and it's still working fine. I likely won't reorder as it's a little too strong for me, but I would recommend this juice to anyone looking for a full font tobacco. 9/10

Volt, if you don't want to vape your Patriot anymore, send it southward. :D

I don't care what ANYONE says. There's no reason to leave caps off to age. Take them and the dripper off, shake very well and re-cap. The liquid breathes through the plastic. If it's glass, take the cap off and shake once every week or so.

Heh. I have over 200 atties, 500 cartos, ~10 glass tanks w/ metal end caps and ~2 liters of pre made juice. And some RDA, kanthal and silica, just don't have the patience to .... with it.

I also have ~15 handguns, 8 rifles, several suppressors and short barrel NFA carbines and at least 2k rounds of each caliber from 9mm, .45ACP, .38, .357MAG, 5.7mm, 5.56, .308, 7.62x54R. In fact, I'm outgrowing my 42 gun Browning safe. I'm not paranoid. Seriously, I have no delusions that I'll maybe have to defend myself against nothing more that a piece of shti in my house in the middle of the night. :)

Leave them be and you'll be fine (especially since those are "natural" LDPE bottles--thin walled). No special work needed. Maybe if they were PET, the hard kind (bill's least favorite), then maybe leave the cap off for a second, but once air gets in, it'll be fine. ALso, remeber that light effects steeping equally, so if it's in plastic (LDPE or PET), let them get a bit of light, and you'll be fine. You'll be fine anyway. You're fine.
