All over the place
Misspellings, typos, poor grammar in any advertisements seem to just shout ineptitude. A couple of NET vendors have mistakes on their websites that grind on me every time I go there. Not good for business for sure!

Taken from my oldie but goodie.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...d-vendors-what-we-want-you-6.html#post7013596

To vendors: Please use a spell check on your website. I know a lot of people don't care about misspelled words or typos, but to me, that sort of things tells me that you are not concerned with details. If you are not concerned with details, then how can you put out a product that relies so heavily on details? Your website is your store, your face, your name--present it as perfectly as possible, sweep up occasionally.

I have seen silly typos and misspelled words that have stayed up on vendors sites like they never have looked back at it once they put it up. I'm just sayin'! To err is human, to not care is sloppy and lazy.

On a similar note, one time I received a bottle from a very popular vendor that apparently placed the wrong label on the bottle, or put the juice in the wrong bottle. Instead of professionally correcting the problem, he took an ink pen and scribbled out the name and hand wrote the name of the juice that I ordered. Serioulsy? Yup! To me, that kind of disregard for tidiness would obviously permeate the rest of his business and I would not want to see other manifestations of his "oops" and "scribbles" showing up in my purchases, let alone my liquid.

Yes, Johni, I know EXACTLY what you are talking about! Though, one person I know has an excuse.

Seriously, save your money and get "stingray" 510s from THOV

My Provari just died. :( I haven't sent it in for repair yet because I'm penny pinching for an expensive mvoe next month. At first I'd notice the light blinking when I moved it, like the battery was loosing and quickly regaining connection. So I cleaned it really good. 999%ISO, q-tips, new Noalox, everything. About a week later it completely died.

I still have my ProVari Mini, Segelei Zmax, innokin Itaste SVD, eVic (which I hate), Atmizoo Roller w/ Kick and Hanna Mods DNA20 box. But I miss my 18650 extension capped ProVari. :( It's my absolute favorite mod.

I'm sorry for your loss. :nun:

Thanks, but it'll be fixed. I have the ProVari Mini, but it's just not the same, even with the extension cap. It has the PT in it now. It's relegated to desk duty, but still gets virtually no use. Don't know why. I just hope ProVape has a quick turnaround.

Oh, and VapingWatch, one of two authorized Mad Murdoch vendors is steeping a NET as we speak. He says he loathes tobacco, but says he loves his. I asked him for basic, non secret details. He admitted he had no clue as he's having someone do the extractions for him. But he's finding out for me. No, its neither Wlad nor Clay. He said he wanted something no one else has done or will do. Time will tell, but I have a good feeling.

Mid October is his hopeful release time frame. Watch is a cool guy and super transparent. I had 1/3 of a 115ml bottle of Maha ras leak in shipping. He's already shipped out a whole new 115ml replacement. He runs a tight ship and is super customer oriented.

I think I can tell you about that one. It's called River Bottom Fog Sauce -- from extreme southern Michigan, near Toledo. He has several juices with a variety of tobaccos. The sig juice is called Porch Rocker; it's sort of a Devil Dog Lite -- a blend with less Latakia content than DD but a similar feel, and maybe a touch of anise. I met him at Vapexpo in Ann Arbor last month, which is where he met Vaping Watch and made a distribution deal on the spot (so I was told, and the brand is listed on VW's site now). He's a very cool guy -- named Brian -- and there in a sea of bubblegum and cotton candy juice, he was definitely the guy I gravitated toward.

I was very excited at first, but after some time these juices are mostly so-so. I do like Porch Rocker, but not as much as DD -- so, for me, there's not much point. He had a perique too that tasted to me just like Natural Perique. Take that with a grain of salt, though; I don't really like perique. I'll be curious to see how he does. There are certainly a lot of NETs out there that are less tasty and authentic. But not yet is he competing with my favorites. However, as shown by the popularity of NET.com, there are different flavor preferences within the subculture of NET vapers. Fog Sauce may very well find a solid following here.

Note: I wasn't going to mention this juice till it was available for sale. Shatner scooped me though, so I thought I should tell the story. One other poster on this forum has tried Fog Sauce, so he may want to weigh in (or not) too, when he gets a chance.

Quick hardware question guys. I figure it would be best to ask the great NET users in this area.

If you use the Smoktech RSST (AnthonyB - where are you), does it leave the smell and taste of previous NET juices in the Polycarbonate tank? I'm hesitant on ordering some of these because of that very thing. I'm mostly into NET juices full of tobacco flavor. Not into Menthol and Candy vapes. So, I'm thinking the RSST would be ok to use with NET juices - regardless of the Poly tank.
Advice? Opinions?

No problem with flavor carryover that I ever encountered. Works with NETs but there will be some carbon buildup in the mesh from dryburning gunk. Don't use mine much lately.

Do you like the taste of genesis atties? If so, that's supposed to be a good one. To me, they take all the nuance out of complex flavors. Also, I can usually catch the taste of metal from the wick. I would think that as long as it can be disassembled and cleaned, the flavor in the tank shouldn't be a big issue.

Wait; Canada is a country? When did we let that happen? Are you sure it's not just a really big town?

Pretty sure it's a hamlet.

Yeah, we're that little blip above y'all.. the place with the "good" beer AND Coffee! ;)

Beer, yes. Coffee, no. There are a number of outstanding roasters in America. Even if you disagree with that, it's not like great coffee is grown in Canada.

Don't mind the dry burning. Well, speaking of that... does the heat from dry burning affect the rubber insulator where the wick goes?

Sure do Cherry (reminds me of Don Cherry for Canadian Hockey. LoL). To me, it puts off the best, and most raw taste of the juice. What Genesis style atomizer have you tried??

You might have gotten the metal taste if you used Nichrome wire. They say that type leaves a metal taste – no matter how you well you prepare the wick. I don’t know. Never tried it. I use Kanthal. In general, a metal taste is usually caused from the SS Mesh not properly oxidized; Kanthal wire not blow torched, and hot spots from improperly wrapped coils.

I just now rebuilt the AGA-T2 with new Mesh and Kanthal. Not one hot spot upon the first firing. I really like the blow torching part because the Mesh reaches a very HIGH temperature. (I think 700-800 degrees - maybe higher). I torch the HELL out of it – till its glowing orange for 3- 5 seconds. Let it cool 2 min. Then torch it again. NO bacteria of any kind can survive that! Afterwords, you’re left with a very clean and sanitized wick than can be used many times.

eHuman has written the best procedures when dealing with SS Mesh for Genesis style atomizers that avoids metal tastes. I think of eHuman as a Master of the AGA-T2.

Sure. The site is here:

GRBC - Canada's home of premium eliquid and electronic cigarettes

And yes, Tasty Vapor juices are carried here.

If you're in the U.S, order directly from Tasty Vapor. If you're in Canada, order directly from Tasty Vapor too. TV's Geoffs Blend was my ADV for 2.5 years before some flavouring component got changed and they had to stop manufacturing it. GRBC's name had come up a number of times in that period. They (used to) buy the TV doublers and cut it with their own nic. Now, I'm not sure what they do these days, but back in the day that used to change how the end result tasted.

I had an extended conversation with a local reviewer after his review of Geoffs Blend due to something he mentioned in his review of it, and the only logical explanation of what he was tasting was the fact that a different base nic was used in the mixing process by GRBC. It was later confirmed that this was the case. Nobody knew until then that GRBC was cutting TV's juices with their own nic, wherever they sourced it from.

It was one of the reasons that led to TV putting up a disclaimer that they were not responsible for juices being sold by 3rd party vendors, because they had no control over what went in their mixes.

Take this with a grain of salt, but it was something I felt strongly about at the time and didn't appreciate the fact that it was not called out on GRBC's website.

Dusty_D, I really appreciate your input on this. This was my very first order, and GRBC seemed like a reputable vendor who sold Tasty Vapor NET juices. I honestly thought I did all the research I could before ordering. I guess I was wrong with my choice.

I've been quite hesitant to order any juices Stateside because of the horror stories I've read about customers who have had their orders returned and even confiscated by CBSA. I'll have to look into this more closely.

Maybe my next order should be with East Coast Vape. They carry Hangsen juices.

hahaha! I think many around here will like those, but I wouldn't say they're anything really "new."

:) The Stingray is next on my list. Dripping is hard in my work environment, hence why I experiment with Tritons, ProTanks, and so on. My ProVari Mini is my main workhorse. I'm sorry to hear yours went to Vape Device Heaven. :(

Mr. Mann, Atomic Cinnacide was one of the recipes that was affected by the Cinnamon flavour change that ended up killing Geoffs Blend. The new Cinnamon being used is not for me but that's not saying that it would not be for you. I do know that a friend that I converted used to use AC as his ADV, and he had to stop ordering it after the change too. Couldn't take the new Cinnamon either. * shrug *

TV is a fantastic vendor and Geoff pays a lot of attention to the product he puts out. Please do not let my comments about the Cinnamon change deter you from ordering from them. You would be missing out on some of the best tasting and cleanest juices out on the market.

Oh, I will try them, just not cinnamon though. I should say, I have tried TVapor before, but it was a long time ago.

Also just an FYI to some of you, Ahlsuion links to TVapor in their recommended elqiuid vendors. Man, I still find it fascinating that a liquid vendor actually suggests other liquid vendors. Rare.

This just in from the Vast And Prohibitively Expensive Laboratory in Frankenmizeria (insert tickertape background sound effect here)..

What kills a laser-slotted Boge SR in less than one tank?

House of Liquid juice.

Two different HoL juices, two dead Boges.

We return you to your favorite vape, already in progress...

New development..or, The Juice Thickens

I sacrificed a ml of Chivalry to a ProTank2 last night just see what would happen to the flavor profile in a garden-variety setup. It did pretty well.
No way could I vape the whole thing in a sitting, so I came back to it this morning.

Fired up the ProVari..and whoa! what happened to the draw? You guessed it - the coil is sludged - badly.

I'm sure there are a few variables I can't control for, but this customer has learned that House of Liquid juices are drip-only products.
That makes them much less attractive to me, good though they are.

(Replying to my own post feels weird, but in this case it makes sense..)
