All over the place
A month is a good bit of time. What is telling about Huntsman is: it's ready when it turns orange. It starts out rather clear yellowish, but when the orange begins to show, then you have some long pants on that Huntsman.

And it tastes nothing like High Octane. Dark Horse does, as does Torque 56. That is short pants Huntsman, which is just a tad more flavorful than never changing Dark Horse.

If yours starts out that way, then that is just like how mine came. Mine still came differently last year (it did not suck as a fresh liquid), but if this will get better I will be happy. Actually, I haven't even really vaped it much because it was so very much lacking in body, it was kind of a pointless vape. But, like I said, if it gets better, I will be happy and I will say it. All I want is good liquids, and if I've had them before, I just want what I had (is that too much to ask?). I hold out hope that it cuts the mustard, even if it is Grey Poupon. LOL

Note: the color of mine is changing now (still rather transparent, but not so damn watery looking). I still don't get how made-to-order liquids last year came so vastly different, but my fingers are crossed. Even if I display a little anger or frustration, I will never shut the door without truly giving something a fair shot. Steeping for barely a month (for made-to-order liquids) is not really a fair shot. We shall see.

Elanor, the Reo is the end game for me. No more looking for the next best thing and spending money on Chinese junk. It just works. PM me for any help you need. Reos are sold at reosmods.com, and the forum here Reos Mods.

Couldn't agree more. I own two now... they are so simple and work so well. Highly recommend the reomizer as well.

I was hoping you would weigh in on this as I know you are a fan of both Huntsman and High Octane. Looking forward to long pants Huntsman. I'll be watching for the color change. Thanks!

I was out working. Had a regular 8 hour day for a change.

My current Huntsman is still young, but it's all I have. Not quite long pants Huntsman, not immature short pants Huntsman either. But it's good, just not great just yet. But still more flavorful than DH.

Huntsman's color changes quite a bit, and the darker it is, the better. Same with Organic #1. Don't despair! :)

Mann, for the record, color-wise my bottles of Dragon's Fire and Hunstman look pretty much exactly like the picture you posted a couple of pages back.

You are absolutely right about Organic #1, the last of it I vaped looked like chocolate syrup and was F-ing delicious... Gotta order some more soon.

Thanks, though I have had others shocked at those pics. I don't give a rat's ...., I just want them to be worth the purchase and what I wanted. I guess I have to deal with HHV now as if I never had them before. So I have to ask a newbie question (since I am no longer familiar with them), how long do these liquids take? I don't doubt that they will get better, but roughly how long?

Huntsman -- a minimum of 1 month, 2-3 for translucent orange brilliance!

Anyone try Hurricane Vapors' Sunset Cavendish? I recently did and almost puked. Of course, that probably means it's a big hit around here. :D

I have about 20ml of it within reach. What I can say for it is this: It wasn't that bad for what it was, and it led me to NETs.

That being said, there are now three vendors I've left behind - Halo, Hurricane Vapor, and Rocket Fuel.
There's nothing wrong with any of them - each got me to a certain level in VapeQuest.
But as my tastes change (and they change rapidly as I transition off analogs), I found I could no longer enjoy each of their flavor bases.

NETs I grok. I am certain that won't change. Juice-wise, everything else with few exceptions, is transitory.

Don't know about anybody else, but I am pretty dang excited to try Fire-cured Burley from Naturally Extracted Tobaccos.

Definitely! The Perique also sounds very interesting and should make an excellent blender to liven up some otherwise blah juices. Hope Clay is making these two strong and in your face.

All of their single-leaf extractions are next on my list.

I just received Yesteryear, Bourbon Seasoned, Cognac Infused, and Black Cherry and still have half bottles of 3-Crown, The Boss, and H+ Yellow Mane.

A stopgap of Blue Grass Burley is on its way as are 60ml each of HoL's Coventry and Reserve.

So much NET goodness, so little time :)

(and how Clay pulled off exactly what I recall of great black cherry pipe tobacco from years gone by is just.. art - there's no other word that works quite as well)

Holy cheese! Word?! So that's Huntsman, huh? Oh well, I will take your word for it. I don't mean that sarcastically--I mean I trust you. And to think, I used to rave about how HHV didn't need a steep. But that was another lifetime ago.

So far I like Bombay, Balkan and H+ Yellow-Mane. H+ Yellow-Mane really surprised me, I just ordered a sample of it, but I'll definitely be ordering a bigger bottle next time. The others I ordered, 3 Crown, The Boss, Yesteryear, and Big Spirit... While not terrible, just seemed to be lacking in flavor. Clay is awesome though and I will continue to try the new flavors he puts out.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Yesteryear, 3-Crown and The Boss... I have been wondering if I'm the only one that finds those kind of bland. Though it should be noted that I was never a cigar smoker.

Pretty much the same here. Also like the Bourbon Seasoned but haven't tried the H+YM yet.

I AM super excited about the Perique and will order it straight up to start. There really is only one true competitor for a legit Perique on the market and as we know that is GEJ. I am really interested to see how clay's stacks up. The GEJ version tends towards the raisin side , almost a hint of mushroom, which is no bueno for me, I prefer a yeasty Perique so we shall see.
