I had an old girlfriend that was kind of yeasty.

Pretty much the same here. Also like the Bourbon Seasoned but haven't tried the H+YM yet.
Holy cheese! Word?! So that's Huntsman, huh? Oh well, I will take your word for it. I don't mean that sarcastically--I mean I trust you. And to think, I used to rave about how HHV didn't need a steep. But that was another lifetime ago.
I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Yesteryear, 3-Crown and The Boss... I have been wondering if I'm the only one that finds those kind of bland. Though it should be noted that I was never a cigar smoker.
Clay really is top shelf. Out of nowhere he reaches out to me via phone and email regarding my signature blend. It will be designed for the hardcore La Cosa NETstra. Heavy on the fire cured burley, shaped and enhanced by fresh, tart blackberry. The burley will be front and center and in your face and the clear star. The blackberry will be used to enhance elements of the fire cured burley that lie underneath, making it deeper and more full bodied...similar to the use of the maple in Maple Burley. This will not be a fruity or HHV style vape. This will be a hard core NETizen vape. I cannot wait! Dream juice for Uncle BJ.
The bourbon is mild and slightly sweet, adds some depth and interest. I passed on H+YM due to Jerms review of W2V Blond (same cigar) but may give it a try since your tastes and mine seem to be similar most of the time.H+ Yellow-Mane is really different, at least to me. I can't think of another NET that I can compare it to. It's not in your face or anything, but it's got a little spice to it. Maybe slightly floral? I wish I was better at describing flavors... All I can say is to me it's really good.
Bourbon Seasoned? Well I do love bourbon...
I'm not big on fruity tobaccos but you sold me. Good to know the tobacco will be up front, not some fruity mystery vape.Clay really is top shelf. I have about 20ml of it within reach. What I can say for it is this: It wasn't that bad for what it was, and it led me to NETs.
That being said, there are now three vendors I've left behind - Halo, Hurricane Vapor, and Rocket Fuel.
There's nothing wrong with any of them - each got me to a certain level in VapeQuest.
But as my tastes change (and they change rapidly as I transition off analogs), I found I could no longer enjoy each of their flavor bases.
NETs I grok. I am certain that won't change. Juice-wise, everything else with few exceptions, is transitory.
It's not the typical put hair on your chest type I go for... I like it as a change of pace vape. I would suggest getting it in a sample size![]()
I ordered some liquids from HHV. Dragon's Fire, Serendipity, and Huntsman. All 50/50 18mg. Huntsman taste like a lab juice to me, very similar to High Octane from GEJ. Unfortunately I don't like High Octane. I was expecting grassy, earthy, etc. What I'm getting so far is nothing like that. It has a strong citrus flavor to me. Does Huntsman change significantly after some steeping?
Vapo Marx,
Your question on V.B. gunk scale. All I can say about that is two days and my Pro Tank II literally shuts down.
My question is what tank is the absolute best for NETs vs longevity of the coil and wick?
Please not too many acronyms... makes a newbies life very difficult.![]()
I did a serious taste test of the 6 NET.com's juices that I had received a few weeks ago. Ran them in drippers with silica (1.5 ohm), then ekowool(1.5 ohm) and finally in mini-cartos (1.7ohm). I ran all 3 setups at the equivalent of 8.5 watts. The six juices that I tested were:
Bombay
Balkan
Black Cav
Chris' Blend
Big Spirit
Yesteryear
It took almost 3 hours of back and forth, and re-visit and switch but I've finally decided that I will be stocking up on multiple 60ml bottles of:
Balkan for Pipe
Yesteryear for Cigar
The others while good, did not hit me on all points that I was looking for. I'm not sure if this had to do with the type of tobaccos being used, or the flavour combinations.
Question for the pros: If I wanted to add another bottle, choice between Boss and Fire Cured Burley, what would you folks suggest I go for based on my current selection?
I'm no pro, but having had Balkan and Yesteryear, I'll throw in my
I really couldn't tell a whole lot of difference between Yesteryear and The Boss or any of the cigar liquids outside of H+ Yellow-Mane. Given the description of Fire-Cured Burley, it sounds to me like it will be a stronger version of Balkan. So I would say if you really like Yesteryear, give The boss a try. If you like Balkan, but wouldn't mind something stronger, give Fire-Cured Burley a go.
Also, how was Chris' blend?
Hmm... definitely something to think about. I'm leaning more towards the Fire-Cured. If it's too harsh by itself, I could use it to add some oomph to some other juices I have..
Chris' Blend: It was good, but having tried Black Cavendish as well, I discovered something in it that I did not care for (I know I know.. there will be hate mail!). An almost "slightly sour" note on the inhale. I detected that same note in Chris' Blend and it made me put it away, even though the other flavours in it were good.
