hi everyone!

i'm writing this to thank you all for entertaining me while i consumed this entire thread. that was a big task, but on the other hand, at least i don't have to bother with any other juice-related threads on ECF. which is to say, if it isn't a natural extraction, i'm not interested :p this isn't on principle. i've been vaping for over 2 years and i've tried hundreds of juices. most are nifty for a few puffs, maybe even excellent, but they either get boring or distracting. what i love about tobacco, real tobacco, is the same thing i love about good electronic music: the subtle complexity means i can pay as much or as little attention to it as i want.

equipment: i've never found a tank capable of proper flavor/hit delivery. i have to drip. sometimes it's inconvenient, and i imagine hardware will someday be invented that will revolutionize the industry, but for now i just use a simple phoenix-style RDA. and for this, an ego battery works fine for me. i don't vary my heads so i don't need variable anything. flat kanthal "micro-coil" + cotton is easily the best setup i've ever tried, and i've tried all kinds at vape meets. i'm open to suggestions of course.

as for vendors, i've tried about 3/4ths of those mentioned in this thread. vaperite was the first to wow me a year ago, though i came to be terrified of cracking open vapemail from them due to several unprofessional mixups and inconsistency issues. then i moved on to want2vape, which everyone here seems to love. i was impressed with alcazar and stockholm, but that's it. the rest (yes i tried everything) seemed murky and imbalanced, with oddly muted throat hit. plus they were murder on coils, which was a big deal before i moved into rebuildable country. goodejuice was next, tried them all, found them to be decent but stale. my 2 favorites were acadian and (aged) vita bella. i tried primevaping too, not bad, but on the murky side and not much selection. still on the hunt for the perfect vendor, i came to this thread (a few months ago) and dove into heather's. wow, not my thing. i would never have guessed that these were NETs. chemically, sticky-sweet, pungent. at least they were better than highbrow, which i simply could not ingest. all of them had something weird and nauseating going on.

and then there's NETCOM. the vape shop i always wanted to exist. as a vendor they're not perfect, but their juice is what i want, all the time. any variety.

ps. i like banana.

Hey everyone, I ordered Sunday Morning from MOV, and being a first time NET'er, I didn't know what to expect. I put it in my ProTank II, and get great wicking and vapor, but just a watery maple syrup flavor. I fiddle and fuss and eventually ruin my Protank heads thinking something is wrong. Then I pop one of the heads off of a Blu carto (if I knew it was this easy and vaped so well, I'd have never bought a Protank!) and the exact same water-maple flavor came through. I'm running my Spinner at 3.3 because anything much higher tastes sort of dry and burny, either with the cartos or Protank. Do ya'll think I just got a bad bottle? Aren't NET's supposed to be stout? And shouldn't this juice taste like coffee and not maple syrup? I'm a big coffee drinker and still a smoker, I know both of these flavors! (I've had various coffee juices before too!)

Hi MJIP, I haven't tried Sunday Morning, but that sure doesn't sound like its description, so something is going wrong. It's not clear from your comment whether you steeped the juice. Generally NETs need more steeping than most other juices. I'm going to be optimistic and guess that this one needs more time.

Hopefully someone else who has actually tried this juice will be along shortly.

Now I see it... weird that I refreshed many times and had to post to see it... anyway, it's been steeped more or less a week. Sometimes 6 hours a day, one day it was 12. No change in flavor. It even smells like maple syrup. It might just be smokers tongue, as I can't exactly taste Blu's tobacco flavor either, but that's artificial tobbacco... I really expected a stout flavor with an NET, especially with MOV being a high-brow operation and all.

Maybe NET's just don't work well with wicks getting in the way of flavor? Wouldn't be surprised if everyone who tries NET's is doing it with dripping and feeder mods.

Strange. Sounds like they mixed up your Sunday Morning with Hey Jack. I doubt they did, but it sounds that way. Try aging it a bit.

I would like to interject the idea that a bottom fed mod with a RBA is the same as dripping, without the hassles. You might want to look into that. PM me if you want more info.

Au contraire monfrair ;), bottom-feeding has different hassles. I like to think of BFing as dripping without what some consider to be a hassle, i.e., dripping; but that is not to say that dripping is inherently a hassle. I think it is safe to say that there is no such device for vaping that is without some hassle, but one man's hassle is another man's fun.

Drip. Drip. Happy. Happy. Joy. Joy.

Emphasis mine.

What, are you cooking it? Steeping is just shaking the bottle and letting it sit in a cool, dry shaded area over time.

BTW, Shatner -- best of luck with the big move. I've moved often enough to know how much of a pain it is.

Let alone the unpacking and getting settled and organized part afterwards.

And my newest coil built yesterday was fiddly as well. Seem I didn't tighten the one post tight enough, so it kept stop firing :) There's always something.

are there any hybrid bottom feeder rebuildables? i'm not going back to straight 510's.

i don't mind the action of dripping, or as i think of it, "packing." there's a certain honesty to it that tanks don't have.

what i do mind is leaking and underwicking. the latter would be okay if it were just a matter of dry hits, but what's worse is how underwicking leads to wick-scorching. i can detect even the faintest bit of char and when i do, it's time for a new wick. sucks when this happens while out.

Have you used an RDA? RDA on a bottom feeder is my go-to. Build the atty to suit your style of vaping, heat delivered, wicking, etc.

I actually like dripping. I had a VV Reo on order but canceled it. The only time I'd really use it is driving. And that's what my Hanna Mods DNA20 with carto tank is for.

I'm not so much worried about the move. I'm having people come pack me Tuesday morning and move me same day around noon. I'm mostly stressing about moving 40 personal guns and 12 customer's guns. I've got all of the rifles boxed up, but now I need to shove pistols in to back packs and box my 30k+ rounds of ammo in to two footlockers.

Really, I should have started on Friday, but the f'ing apartment complex's 'key maker' is broken. Although they can give me access to the unit.

Not to mention moving is just stressful. But I am selling my '68 Camaro Z/28 tomorrow. That's a huge load off my shoulders. Think I'm going to go to the Honda dealership and buy a CBR600RR. :D

ed..glad you found a vendor you connect with. It makes a huge difference and you are owed a break from vendor searching. We can all relate. Sampling can get real old after awhile. I too am on a new vendor moratorium. I tire of the excess inventory, expense, and vaping juices I don't care for. Now I'm lean and everything I vape are juices I enjoy. It's a good place to be. That said, I have learned in life that nothing is forever. I'm sure I will be trying other vendors that I have previously left unexplored. Not sure when, but I'm certain I will. I never fully explored W2V or MOV (love Apache) and haven't touched others like DV and others. I know there are some gems in there. In time I'll get to it. Meanwhile, enjoy your break from vendor searching and dig those NETCOMs. :)

Yes my friend, it does get old and expensive trying to find a juice you want to hang on to. Taking a break for awhile, and will enjoy the big order from Clay. There's enough Black Cav to last me for months, so I'm where you're talking about for awhile. I've not tried W2V, or even HHV yet. Have heard a lot of good things about them. I may try something from them one day. MOV does make a great RY4, but they have to charge sales tax on everything I buy because of living in Tennessee. That's like paying extra for it. I don't believe I'll be buying from them again because of that.

Newbie vaper here, been vaping for about 3 months now currently have a Kayfun on a Neme Mod and I got 4 EVOD's on 450mah Smoktech Ego Minis. Right now I'm vaping Mt Baker juices, 555 in my Kayfun as my ADV (its been delicious after 2 weeks steep, currently have about 75Mls left of it and on my EVOD's I'm using "dessert vapes" like Dutch Apple Pie, Peanut Butter, Butter Nut Bread and Big Willie's Vanilla Custard.

I'm running microcoils at 1.5ohms with cotton on my EVOD's and a solid SS mesh wick aided by cotton tails on my Kayfun at 1.1 ohms.

Introductions out of the way, I just stumbled upon the world of NET's and I wanted a good recommendation to get started. I really like Mt Baker's 555 but its more maple, caramel, almonds with a hint of vanilla than tobacco. I'd like something similar but with a richer smooth tobacco flavor. I came accross Clay's site so if I could get a suggestion from his site with a specific spec like if I want cold macerated, heat extracted, etc. I think I'd become one very happy vaper.

One question out of the way, do these natural extracts re-introduce unhealthy portions of smoking tobacco?

The vast majority of harmful effects from burning tobacco comes from the additives used to keep the cigarette burning, and from the actual part of combustion, not to mention the filter.

Others can pull up the direct info, but that's mostly the gist of it.

As far as the specific flavor you're looking for, you might try a NET RY4 such as Fullflake RY4 from Mountain Oak Vapor, which has a nutty base tobacco with caramel and vanilla.
