Just completed the last 500 pages or so of this thread. I was hoping to find the answers to my questions without posting and even though there was a discussion a couple hundered pages back about defining what should be considered a net, that debate went up in smoke.
I have concluded that taste is clearly subjective and recommendations are going to be ballpark, at best. So far, my own experience leads me to think that rather than finding true love, one needs to be willing to accept the least objectionable bunk-buddy left sitting at the bar after closing.
I've walked through clubs Evo, AVE (I regularly shack up with BB and expect to continue doing so even after marriage to another) and briefly flirted with a number of the bar stool covers at GeJ. Organic was way too much like my last relationship. There was however, some heavy petting (by default) with Patriot. Patriot was interesting, but during deep mouth kissing, Patriot had an annoying habit of occasionally burping into my mouth, so it went no further.
I'm about to enter club NETcom and Ahlusion is next door.
Ok, I've overtaxed what little talent I never had for metaphor.
What I'd like to know is: "What is the code?" How do you know which ones are NETs and which aren't before you've taken them home? For instance Ahlusion discribes fluids as "from our specialty line of our natural tobacco extracts"--Ok--a NET, yes?, but what about "non-aromatic blend" or "based on our natural tobacco flavours" or "A non-Aromatic blend based on slightly sweet Turkish and domestic (bright Virginia) blends.?

Welcome papabogart! As you can tell from catching up on this thread, there are folks with many different levels of experience here. Most of us started out with at least a few clueless posts so don't be afraid to jump right in. It's better to ask than guess!

The discussion of what is a NET and what isn't has been beaten to death here without universal agreement as you discerned. I don't want to fire that argument up again and won't participate if anyone else starts. I find the NETs I enjoy taste more like tobacco and are made from simple extractions without any complicated lab processes.

I'm still trying to figure it out BJ. I gave up on it pretty quickly because it was cutting into my real DF time. I don't like when my real DF time is compromised. I'll pick it up tomorrow morning. It is definitely Dragon's Fire but there is something funky going on. I'm guessing it was somewhat more funky when MM first got it. Not sure what the funk is....contamination from another juice needle, a heavy shot of nicotine (way beyond the advertised 18mg). Got to mess with it some more. DF has as much "feel" to me as it does flavor (especially in an RBA). The "feel" part of MM's stuff seems like it has gone to Mach 4 or something. The feel was always like evaporation similar to what it feels like to drink alcohol. With real DF, it's more like a white wine feel. This MM stuff is like Everclear!

But, as we all have to remember, Adam said that every bottle that goes out is l just like mine; I think when someone asks I can tell them that DH has zero TH, weak flavor, and an anemic body. If he stands by it, then what I tasted, what BJ tasted and what Bronze tasted is signature HHV Dragon's Fire. Right?? Well, at least that's the gist of Adman's stance. I like Bronze's Grey Poupon, but that ain't what "99%" of what people are getting.

Is it wrong of me to be ...... that Adam didn't offer any kind of recompense? A small owner-mixed bottle of DF, maybe? A discount on the next order? A replacement? Further inquiry? Something?! Nope. What I got is a declaration that everyone gets what I got, and a suggestion to order more extract on my next order. It is so hard for me to get past that.

He should have offered to replace or refund it without you having to ask. I don't think he wants your business, and, if I were you, I would just stay away. Why would you place another order? That'd be crazy. YOU know what you tasted, and apparently he doesn't care. So, what else can be said?

the bronze-approved stuff was nasty anyways. it has haunted my tastebuds all day. apparently dragons lay waste to small kingdoms by face farting their breakfast of hay and chocolate hazelnut non-dairy creamer upon innocent country folk. gross.

MM, you may want to ask yourself... how many times prior to this incident had Adam acted in that same manner? If I recall, and it is just my poor recollection I'm going by... you always talked up how open Adam was to your questions ( and interrogations ... lol ) in previous posts. Perhaps it was just a bad day for him ( or week, month etc )... If it still bothers you ( and why wouldn't it )... call him back up and discuss it in order to at least give him a chance to make it right in case it was just a bad day. If he still acts the same way, you know then for certain and there won't be a lingering question in your mind.

I've never talked to him myself... so I can't use something of that nature as an example. I do like a couple of their juices but they aren't my type so I'm uncertain if I plan to purchase more myself even if this issue hadn't happened just because it isn't as much my style that I vape at the moment ( re bill's post ).

from HHV, i've tried: dragon's fire, legend, sludge, and huntsman. i would not reorder any of them. they are all too sweet and pungent. of those, dragon's fire was my preference, but i think that was because it was the least punchy. it's too bad because i love punchiness, but it has to be the right flavor. i did find them passable in a clearomizer, again because that muted the flavors to tolerable levels. perhaps this is how they were developed?

meanwhile, the most fantastic juice i've had lately is netcom choctaw perique. THIS is how i remember the odor of perique from the tobacconist's jar. i kinda liked GeJ's and vaperite's versions, but they only hinted at the real thing. netcom is the real thing. the best way i can think to describe it is like sour fudge. i can't get over how complex and savory it is.

I got some Dover Court from NETCOM and there was zero throat hit on that one too. When I say "zero"... I mean ZERO! Had to be a dud. It was the craziest thing I ever vaped. You'd think the heat would be noticeable. Nope! ZERO throat hit. Strange!!! Oddly, I'm getting plenty of TH from this DF. It's something else that I can't put my finger on. Need to vape more of it. I'm thinking age has impacted this juice quite considerably.

Oh, trust me, I know I am mostly just B&Ming--it's all about a simple bottle of liquid. Silly. Right?

When I got Bronze's liquid, and saw what he thought about mine, it just brought it back to the surface.

On the real though, I have my issues with damned near every vendor that I patronize (probably every one that I have ordered form more than once), but part of the reason I don't complain is that they never let me dangle in the wind, and if they do it irritates me. I rarely have ever had to speak on it because any time I have had an issue with a vendor they say: "what can I do?" Then it's over.

Some things are causing my form to break and my previously long fuse has been whittled down to a short wick. Right now I am just a vaper that is about tired of wasting money on duds.
