You guys think ya got problems? I vaped some "teaberry" juice an hour ago and now everything I eat, drink or vape tastes like Pepto-Bismol!

Dwindling NET supply forces desperate measures.

Now that is just nasty! I think the way to stay sane, for an NET vaper, is to always have some straight-up tobaccos on hand. Flavored NETs are cool and all, but when you want that hit, that tobacco hit, it sure does satisfy when you got some unadorned!

Yep, sure is.

I've been a part of this thread for more than a year. Sorry guys (and occasional gal), but sometimes I see smoke juice taken too seriously. My advice...just enjoy the journey.

See yuh around. :)

Yes, e-Liquid is what it is when it is what it is supposed to be. But don't get it twisted, money wasted on a hard-as-a-brick doughnut ain't exactly "just a doughnut." Dig? Damn DIYers always creep up in my mind and say, ":p". LOL

But anyway, I think I will vape some Norwegian Shag right now. Man, I love this liquid so very much. But, since Vapor-Age is out-of-business, I got to enjoy this journey (bottle) s.l.o.w.l.y. :(

Yes, there is always something just out-of-reach, especially in the ecig game.

Thanks for the welcome Johni, Vapo and BJ.

I am sure you've seen one recurring theme in this thread: always, always ask the vendor. And then, ask that vendor more. Repeat.

p.s. Every one of the 30+ tobaccos from Ahlusion has some or all parts natural tobacco.

I copy that. I was hoping there was a simpler process. I even had a bit of a problem determining what was what from the comments here re: liquids. Hope it will be ok to run inquiries past you folks.

On a completely different note:

I don't mean to degrade GeJ. I thought Organic was a very good irl cig vape. However, in the same vein of Mr. Mann's complaint: How does GeJ keep selling Vita Bella. To say that I was underwhelmed is an understatement. Having read this thread, I see that it needs to steep for a loooooong period. If I go to buy a tomato, I don't expect to be sold a seed and a flower pot. Oh, well. Live and learn.

Unfortunately, sometimes some of us that have been at this for a while still have a hard time discerning. For the most part it is easy once you "get it," but there are those times when we just don't know. AVE's Havana Gold is a good example. I just can't believe that liquid is just synthetic.

The steeping bit, unfortunately, is something you will have to live with. It's not to say that the oft mentioned liquids that supposedly "need" to steep will taste good to you after several months, but several months will pass anyway, so keep it on hand just in case. That's, after all, one of the ways vapers learned steeping works.

Hey, this liquid sucks! [time passes] Hey, this liquid is great. What happened? LOL

I'm not hung on NET just on the basis of it being a NET. It's just that my expectations based on my experiences so far is that real tobacco taste is only going to come from real tobacco. I'm not looking for analog, I'm actually looking for a pipe quality vape to accompany my quiet reading or JW evenings. I'm no elitist, if a bakery or drink vape tickles my fancy---fine. If a nonNET vape tastes like the pipe tobacco I'm looking for then Eureka, I'd be good. I doubt that an arti is going to do that though, so I'm looking to cut to the chase. Thanks.

Since you've read up lately, did you develop a list of juices to try or do you want some recommendations?

It's funny, but after reviewing that list that is pretty much all I want to vape anymore. There are a couple flavored NET I use regularly, but pretty much that would satisfy me on a desert island. Shoot, if all I could ever vape was Louisville I'd be a happy lil juicy.

I also must admit I really like RY4. I am going to start knocking a few if my list.

Shifting gears, and considering my tastes, I need a recommendation. Right now the only non NET's in my lineup are EPM Long Bottom Leaf (which I am finally burnt out on) and Ahlusion W&A Sasparilla which is wonderful. Can anyone recommend a little change of pace, non-tobacco liquids for a guy who almost always cuts to the chase?

For example, I was afraid to ask about Plume Room Smooth & Mild here (I just kinda assumed it didn't qualify) but then the other guys started talking about it, so...

Dude.. this is THE place to ask if something is a NET! If someone can't ask here, than where? Sometimes we gotta do some digging to find out (which was the case for a lot of the vapes recognised as NET).

Smooth & Mild.. not a NET, but a really great arti. Mine was shipped Thursday, which was a nice surprise because I was under the impression they are pretty backlogged these days. It's only a state away too so should be in my mitts soon; can't wait!

Lol, funny analogy. But Nick from GeJ (like any other vendor) sells products they believe is good to go with maybe needing a couple weeks at the most. To him it's good early, and it's the same for me and a few others.

Nothing NEEDS a long steep, but some juices come along that many people prefer them after they change with age, and they get to be known as long steepers. The good news is, if someone doesn't like Vita much it changes quite a bit so they may like it later. I notice a difference in flavor from fresh to old Vita, but not to the extent others do. Steeping is another thing related to vaping that people have differing experiences with.

I practice, vape it until I like it, and if after a while I don't then move on. But I always give a juice a fair chance, meaning trying it on occasion several times and giving it time to age before deciding on it. If I truly hate something, then it's easy to figure out quick it's not for me. If I love it right away, there's a chance that may change too. Often I'm indifferent though, then further investigation is needed. As long as it's vapable, the juice has until the end of the bottle to convince me it's worth having again.
