In other news, I posted a (much delayed) review of Patriot, Natural Perique, and Vita Bella from Goodejuice. I'm a fan of all three, but Natural Perique might be too funky for some. You'll either love it or think it tastes like sweaty sun-dried sock. As for Patriot and Vita Bella, lots of you already have opinions on those two lovely juices.

Yeah, yeasty. That's a good description of the funkiness I was getting. That part I like. Unfortunately, the type of nutty it has is the kind that overwhelms a juice for me and becomes most of what I taste. Same issue I had with Puros. If the yeasty was mixed with the type of nutty in Rou's Hazelnut, that I think I could really roll with.
My short journey with DK-TAB.. funky, funky and a little nutty, funky and very nutty, nutty.
Or.... you'll love it AND think it tastes like sweaty sun-dried sock.

I got all three a couple of months ago. NP is a little like you said - 'a sweaty dried sock'. Not really my thing. Patriot has been steeping for a while now, so I need to give it another vape. However, Vita Bella was great from the mail, and is almost gone.
Of all the juices I've tried from GeJ.... Analog, Wild Turkey, and Wrangler Light are my favorites. I'm actually vaping Analog as I write this, and it has steeped into a rich tasting tobacco flavor that's very, very close to a real cigarette.
Acadian Gold will be in my next order with them. However, I'm really wanting to try out Ahlusion, but not sure which one to get. Money is tight right now, and I can't really experiment on what I think might be good.
Can someone make a recommendation from Ahlusion?
My flavor base is :
NET.com - Big Spirits , Gold, Coventry, Bourben Seasoned.
GEJ - Analog, Wild Turkey, and Wrangler Light.
MOV - Southern Gentleman and FVFRY4.

I'd say Smooth Criminal (long steep) or the Wild Woods (much shorter steeps). You could also try Sahara for a good-out-of-the-box flavor, though it will get better by most accounts. I am refraining from recommending the aros anymore--at for least now.
Thanks Mann. I've heard and read nothing but good things about Ahlusion. But can't recall reading anything about coil gunking. How does Ahlusion juices fair to coil gunking? I use the AGA-T2 (#500 SS Mesh; 30g Kanthal; 7/8 Mini Coil wrap on a 3/16 drill bit for 2.0ohms @ 4 volts).
Ahlusion non-aromatics are very, very clean. The aromatics are harsh on coils, but for many the strong and outstanding tobacco flavors are worth it.
Still at $14 for 100 mls. it's pretty tasty. I just went through my first 50 ml bottle and I like it better than my 555. I quit buying juice but I got another full bottle of DK -DT to savor. Wish I could figure out how they get that nutty taste. It's not just AP or peanut.
Yeah, there are no real DIY recipes short of using Hangsen's Tab concentrate which is not going to do the job as well, though it approximates decently. Part of the problem with Hangsen's Tab is that it steeps out strangely.
So you think Gold Rising tastes like cat urine and you like AND you think Natural Perique tastes like sweaty sun-dried sock and you love it.
Please keep us posted on this. I just received my 15ml of Devil Dog in 50/50, 18mg (I was scared to get the 30/70 haha). I haven't tried it yet, but will later tonight - I must focus on studying or I'll play with this crap all day! It smelled ok when I opened the cap, but what the hell do I know?
I called Ahlusion today and spoke with Wlad. I first told him about how much I am loving Caramel Wild Wood (had to ease into it. LOL) and then about how bad my early December order of Devil Dog is.
I proceeded to tell him about the terrible performance and absence in flavor. He assured me two things: 1.) the recipe and process haven't changed and 2.) he wasn't the one who made that bottle (I actually can't remember the last time my order said "mixed by Wlad," though that was the norm before they expanded).
Wlad asked me if I thought my taste in the liquid changed and I assured him it wasn't that, and even if my taste had changed, my knowledge of the liquid has not (not saying I know it more than him, but he ain't exactly got my bottle either). He never questioned coils or anything like that.
After I answered him honestly, he said "send me your order number and I'll be able to see exactly what happened with that bottle" (may there be a record of exactly how everything was made? Dunno.) I told him I would email him more detail about my experience with it, but he said "nah, just send me the order number and we'll get out a replacement." Note: I did NOT ask for a replacement.
I want to convey a few things about that interaction: 1) it wasn't easy for me to tell him how bad that liquid was, but he made it comfortable saying so. 2) I don't want anyone to think this is an example of what you can expect if you call Ahlusion and say your bottle tastes off (don't use me as an example), but I wanted to share my experience. I am 100% positive that some people have had different experiences with them in similar situations, and I am equally positive some people have had the same experience as I did--there are NO guarantees. 3.) There are no refunds or replacements with their eliquid, so this situation was likely due, at least in some part, to his and my particular history.

Cool, was hoping it was a mixing error instead of something bigger going on. Wasn't so worried about the Dog since there's other English blend (aka Latakia blend) NETs that are just as good, but would hate to see the aro line go down the crapper.
I tried Bill's PS English Proper last night which turned out to be a solid English blend. That one and H&H Magnum Opus I think will turn out to be my favorites from Bill. Johni, if your looking into some more great pipe tobaccos to extract, I highly recommend those two. As much as I like the flavor of Sultan's Blend, it does gunk on me pretty quick.
My DD bottle was prepared on 11.9.2013. Not sure if its the same batch as yours mann. Mine sure is gross though. I'm not gonna bother disputing it.
Yeah, and if my next bottle is as bad, I'll just let sleeping dogs lie.
