Wow. Floored, floored, floored. Now if all vendors would learn from Ahlusion, there would be no guessing at all, just more competition. They even came all the way full circle with a personal note on the receipt inviting sampling and the fact of shaking/steeping. The packaging of the products was way above the bar. Even the tape that they use to seal the little baggies has their logo. To me, there is no competition out there as far as professionalism. I'm more than sold without even tasting any juices yet LOL!

Alley mentions steeping and shake well in the note, but I'm not patient enough for steeping right now. BUT, I do have a new 10ml bottle waiting for just this moment. Time to play now. Here doggy doggy... :2cool:

I have heard about this vendor named Ahlusion...I think I am going to stop what I am doing and order some now. Get some! :D

Zoinks!! You got less than 30! Moons of madness!!

Message to Devil Dog vapers out of standard attys: While it doesn't wreck an atty, it dogs the atty with its devilish flavor. I have never had a flavor that persisted like this. Devil Dog deserves its own atty!

p.s. Why didn't I get the 30 mL?

What was I thinking? Well, I know what I was thinking. I was thinking about all the money I've spen lately. ;) But, after tasting Ahlusion, money is the furthest thing from my mind. I truly believe Ahlusion's prices are perfectly reasonable based on their remarkable professionalism and quality. Ahlusion is unsurpassed IMO.

Oh, trust me, I am going to try every tobacco flavor that Ahlusion carries, even the standard non-premium tobaccos. (They're still NETs, just with some other ingredients.) I have three more vendors NETs coming this week so I will be pretty busy vaping. All in all, I have upwards of 25+ bottles coming.

I don't think I will be buying Ahlusion again any time soon. They use those hard plastic bottles I despise for anything lesser than 30ml. What a shame.

How about I send you the nice soft plastic bottles and you send me your Ahlusion? I think that would be fair.:sneaky::lol:

What is it about the hard plastic bottles that you don't like?

Ok, throw the bone, I'll fetch. Anything I'm not privy to yet?

What is it about the hard plastic bottles that you don't like?

I also hate the hard 5ml and 10ml dropper-top plastic bottles (I forget the industry designation for which type of plastic those bodies are made of, but you know the ones I mean---they're clear transparent rather than translucent).

You squeeze-squeeze-squeeze, but nothing happens. Then you squeeze hard, and still nothing. Finally, you squeeze just a tiny bit harder, and suddenly juice pours out of the dropper top in a rushing stream, rather than as individual drops. I'm sorry, but the whole point of dropper top bottles (besides being a container for storage, obviously) is to allow easy and precise incremental control of individual drops of juice into an atty or carto.

Those damned bottles either block the juice completely or spray it out in a flood. Yeah, I know there's supposed to be a soft spot on each bottle, but 1) I can never find it, and 2) I don't want to have to feel around for something like that anyway. I want to just pick up the bottle, invert, squeeze slightly, and get the exact number of drops and rate of flow that I need. Is that too much to ask? I guess so.

PITA. Complete fail. Useless.

And don't even get me started on those defective child-proof caps where the inner teeth give way, causing the cap to spin rather than grab, which then requires vice-grips to get the stupid cap off.

Ah, I feel so much better now having vented... LOL.

Billherbst, if you don't mind the redundancy, would you be willing to repost this in Mr. Mann's Message to e-Liquid Vendors thread? I especially agree with the part about the little plastic teeth coming off of the child-proof bottles.

That is funny about the plastic teeth. I was about to video myself dripping out Ahlusion's bottle but I decided not to. The point is, I have absolutely no problem getting what I want from the bottles. Maybe some are different from others because these are fine to me (Ahlusion's). Maybe we all have different squeeze techniques? I have, however, had a hard plastic bottle that had was hard to get the juice from, and I have had the translucent bottles from BWB that had the new tips on them that were so open, no squeeze was required. I had no idea that the tops were changed and I lost close to a mL of juice on my desk. Now, I always approach any bottle with caution.

Vendor: Goodejuice
Liquid: Wild Turkey Tobacco
Vendor Description: Our naturally extracted Turkish tobacco. This premium Tobacco eliquid is made from a blend of superior quality Turkish (Oriental) tobaccos that are selected from the finest regions. We extract the flavor over the course of several weeks and the end result is a naturally sweet and aromatic flavor with nothing else added. Yep, it's Organic by the way! Brewed the Goodejuice way! This flavor is only available in a 50/50 PG/VG mix due to the extraction process.

Thoughts: Although a little misleading, the name has nothing to do with Kentucky bourbon, or the large omnivorous foraging bird (Meleagris gallopavo) that Ben Franklin thought represented the United States better than the bald eagle. The name refers to the country, as in Anatolia, Asia Minor, the seat of the Ottoman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Trojan city-state, etc. More specifically, it refers to Turkish tobacco, also known as 'Oriental,' which is a small-leafed, sun-cured aromatic grown in Turkey and Egypt, among other countries (thank you Wikipedia). Turkish is common in pipe blends, and is popularly known as a constituent tobacco (blended with Virginia tobacco) in Camel cigarettes.

Wild Turkey is a smooth tobacco with decent throat-hit and vapor production, and is perfect for all-day vaping. At first vape, it is mellow and unassuming, and in my opinion one of the more genuine tobacco flavors available. Only after additional vaping (and proper steeping) does Wild Turkey reveal its complex layering. It is earthy, a little dry, and slightly spicy. It has a natural sweetness that rounds out the dryness and (like GeJ's other House Brewed tobaccos) is in no way overpowering. The flavor is reminiscent of the smell of a freshly opened pack of Camels, but is perhaps not quite as rich and is a shade darker, but devoid of any ash-try aftertaste. I've found that Wild Turkey is excellent with a cup of coffee, which brings out a slight fruity, almost cranberry tartness.

As we expect from all Naturally Extracted Tobaccos, Wild Turkey won't do your atomizer any favors. However, it is not a certified atty serial killer, due to GeJ's extensive filtration process.

Like the Trojan Horse (which should more accurately be called 'the Greek Horse,' if you think about it), Wild Turkey is seemingly harmless, simple, and mellow at first vape, but then it reveals the force that it's hiding inside only after you've allowed it into your home, fortress, city-state, or whatever the case may be.

Tez, I just got this juice the other day and was as happy with it as many others a from GeJ. I LOVE that Nick is willing, as he should be, to tell you what the "blend" is that makes up his juices. Transparency like that allows me to see through the fluff of vendors descriptions; also, that kind of transparency then allows the vendors the ability to see though my wallet.
