These are not "tobacco" juices, but tobacco juices--if you catch my drift?

No, I'm sorry but I don't. Could you please explain? I am completely lost trying to figure out what juice to try next. I was a hardcore Marb Red smoker for 30 years. Been vaping 10 months now and have yet to find much of anything I really love. I've been skimming through the thread but there are so many recommendations I am overwhelmed. I have tried most of the popular juices such as Bobas, NLV, AVE, BWB, Halo, M&P's, CC, Aroma , Vapelicious, MOV, etc. Nothing ever really hits home. I find most are too sweet or have the spicy, tart, grass type flavor which I contribute to tobacco absolute. I could be off on that but it seems to be a common theme.

I am looking for a strong, straight forward tobacco without a lot of added spices. I don't mind a little vanilla or caramel but I really want a Marb Red in-your-face tobacco. Not a cigar, fruit or candy fan either. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places and need to try NETs? I've had Vaporite and W2V and liked them but found it a little light. I smoke 24mg and am also beginning to wonder if part of the problem is that I need to go up to 36mg. I was hoping to cut back on the mg but nothing is really satisfying. I have been able to stay off of cigs but it's a struggle without having juices that really satisfy me. I still miss that "ahhh" analog experience.

I am hoping that with the vast amount of knowledge in this thread that I could get a few recommendations?

I haven't tried it yet, but everyone says Dark Horse from HHV tastes a lot like a Malboro. It's extracted. The one Goodejuice I've tried was TOBACCO through and through, but tasted nothing like a cigarette. Frankly, I'm not sure why someone wants something that tastes like a cigarette, but to each his own. :)

W2V light? Tell us the juices as well as the vendors, that would be more helpful. Try The Plume Room's Marlboro Type Flavor at the highest nic Andrea offers.

When I said, not "tobacco" juices, but tobacco juices, I was referring to juices that claim to be tobacco but are not versus those that are actually made from tobacco. Think of it like Hi-C or Tang versus freshly squeezed orange juice. If you are tasting spice in an NET, it is not added but from the tobacco itself. You may have some luck with that suggestion I made (TPR), but your best bet is to leave the cigarette love in the box of mementos and move on. I don't mean to seem frank, but you will be on a long, frustrating, costly road that may end up in a place where the only taste that will give you what you are looking for is what you want to avoid.

Once again, tell me the juices from W2V that were light, and also tell me the juices that were close.

You may want to try Vapor Station's Tampa at a very high nic. (VS is not NET) Actually, the closest cigarette flavors are lab concotions...probably because so are cigarettes. LOL

TPR's Marlboro Type Flavor is an NET, though. Try those on for size.

Dark Horse DOES NOT taste like a Marlboro, but it does have a more cigarette taste than the other juices for sure. I mean seriously, what does a Marlboro really taste like? Nothing, that's what. Maybe the fresh pack has a smell that is reminiscent of some of nice tobacco/other stuff, but once that flame hits it, it's NO flavor at all.

I totally agree. The W2V line, pretty much all of it, is pretty hard core tobacco. I think it's pretty safe to assume way above what a person looking for a cigarette alternative is expecting.

Now Marlboro Type is very good too. I was just kind of impressed recently with the Wild Turkey, so that was forefront in my mind.

Vita Bella. I want to try some more House Brewed, but I'm kind of scared. Mr.Mann has that burned out tobacco tongue thing going on, but mine is still sensitive. :)

I've avoided Dark Horse exactly because everyone says it tastes like Malboros, and even when I was a smoker I hated those things. You've inspired me to maybe try it after all. :)

Mookie, having tried all those vendors and not coming up with anything you like makes me rather hesitatnt in recommending anything. I think if you're looking for Marlboro Red you're going to be disappointed. BTW, I was a 40 year Marlboro man myself. I vape a flavor from Johnson Creek, Red Oak line called Silverthorn. It is a 100% VG and it is a straight-forward, hard hitting, yet smooth tobacco that gives off a ton of vaper, throat hit and flavor. But like I say, I have a feeling you're going to be hard to satisfy. That said, I wish you luck and I hope you find that killer juice you're looking for.

I am not one of those people that is against hitting a cigarette when he wants, which is maybe once every 6 months, and let me tell you, the last time I hit a cigarette I laughed at how absurd the "taste" was. The taste that people are looking for is a farce. I don't mean to poo on Mookie's desires, but sometimes tough love helps in these kinda situations. If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you are with. I loved cigarettes, but I can't be with 'em anymore; I am with vaping now, and I love it very much.

To reiterate for Mookie:

The Plume Room - Marlboro Type Flavor (Highest nic)
Vapor station Tampa (Highest nic)

Holla!

Having vaped for the better part of two months now and sneaking an occassional Marlboro when my e-cig device starts screwing up, I can say with absolute certainty that you are 100% correct. In the 40 years I smoked Marlboro's, I never realized how tasteless they were until I began vaping.

I see Mookie read this one. ;) Re-Post time...

Vendor: Heather's Heavenly Vapes
Liquid: Dark Horse
Thoughts: This will be what I vape in the more contemplative parts of my day. Dark Horse has both a confidence and shyness that makes it approachable; it won't force itself on you.

**This offering has more discernible qualities to it than Gandalf.*** Dark Horse is less sweet with more of a blooming edgy flavor, though it is not obnoxious or loud. It has a slightly vocal, fruit-like sweetness that is behind the presence of a bright vegetal, or leafy quality--which is the tobaccos voice--and there is delicate dryness that is reminiscent of gently steeped white tea. The flavor doesn't linger very long, but there is an echo of its character that resonates. The totality of the flavor of Dark Horse is clean and pure.

The HHV Purity Line of tobaccos are quite sophisticated and graceful. The tobacco is not as upfront as I generally like, but the juice itself does not leave me wanting. It's interesting, I feel the presence of colors when I vape these HHV juices--Gandalf feels like purple, and Dark Horse feels like green--maybe that is me, the artist speaking, maybe it's the juice? Either way, all the manners in which I used to articulate this juice were my musings--the flavor of it could've easily been described as just down right good!

***That review was written before they upped the extract in their juices (I don't know where they got the idea to do that? LOL) Gandalf was much lighter before, but now, Gandalf is has WAY more discernible qualities to it than DH.***

That's probably my favorite show EVER. :)

Yeah, that's right up there for me too. Sometimes I split a freaking side. I'll wake up at 5AM and turn it on for two hours and fade in and out and find it a good way to start my day by laughing. My wife thinks that show is the lowest form of life. But I love it along with the old MASH series and (don't laugh), Andy Griffith.

I haven't had even one hit off a cigarette in right at 14 months now and I can't even remember the last time I "craved" one. I really don't even remember what they tasted like anymore. Every once in while I get curious and think I'd like to try one just to see how bad they are, but then I figure I could probably just go kiss my dog square in his .... and get the same effect.

Ain't it strange? I mean they have a taste, but only if you consider flavors like burnt morning breath a flavor?! LOL. Nope, no taste, just stink.
