OK, 555 is off the list! I'm thinking about taking Havana Gold off too so that leaves four. Where is the 15-20% discount code? Or are they doing that at checkout? Anybody know? Or can I do both the sale AND code?

ETA: 15% done at checkout.........

Well, don't take 555 off the list Just because I don't like it. Some people like a 555. I just don't like all that "nutty" flavor too much.

And don't order from AVE now, the sale hasn't started yet.

Loaded the clearo, vaping away, looking for the sweet spot. Looks like somewhere around 4.0-4.2v (2.4ohm clearo).

Running thoughts as I'm vaping it.

This is really giving me quite a bit of vapor for a 50/50. What IS that flavor? It's almost tastes, I dunno, like some kind of fruit? Some kind of berry? I can't place it so far. Tantalizing. There may be some other flavors in there too, but the tobacco is kind of overwhelming them. LOTS of tobacco. Bold yet subtle. Is that possible? It isn't as "full" as, say, a Gandalf, but that might be because I get Gandalf in 100% VG. Nope 4.2v is too high, 4.0 it is. Not really a cigar or pipe tobacco taste, not sure what it is, but there's plenty of it. Stout, but maybe because I'm just not used to this kind of vape. Intriguing. What IS that flavor??

Hah. I vaped up half a 1.5ml tube typing that. :)

More to come later.

Guess I ain't crazy after all. Well, I could still be I guess...

They aren't available yet! Don't order yet!

I know. You told me that before. I'm in no hurry to be honest. Sounds like those folks need some focus time for awhile and don't need slugs like me ordering their crap and then bugging them for it. Once they resume taking orders and throw up their sale I'll put my name in line and then I'll just forget about seeing it for awhile. Plus it has to steep for a decade anyway so it aint happenin' for a long time. I see no point in getting jacked up about it. I am kinda waiting for a final word on your Monkeystein project. I have a sample of the Vapin' Chimp coming from Heather whenever that happens. Wonder if I need to get GJ from AVE too. I'm leary of the banana stuff considering I don't like fruit juice so not sure how wise it is to stock up on two different primate juices.

I'm thinking "monkeystein" was a failure. The mix was maybe a little better than Vapin' Chimp by itself, but not as good as GJ by itself. VC is probably gonna be my first "miss" from HHV. There's nothing wrong with it mind you, it's a typical smooth, clean, tasty HHV juice. But it's banana and tobacco, exactly as advertised, and that's it, and it gets a little boring pretty quick. When I first vape it, it's pretty neat, cause that banana taste makes you go, "Wow! That tastes just like a banana!", but after a while, well, how many bananas can one eat in a row anyway? I like it, I'll use up what I have, but the jury is still out on re-ordering.

If you want to try GJ, don't worry about having VC too. They're not the same juice at all. GJ kind of teases you with the banana flavor, VC slaps you in the mouth with it.

Oh I know...I'm waiting until it's all up there and all at 20% off. The 15% off has already started though. In no way am I giving up an additional 5% off. I do love a good sale! Just getting my ducks in a row. I'm the frugal-cheap-thrift store shopping-penny pinching Queen!

OK....back to NETS and sorry for the OT AVE hijack. :offtopic:

Maybe the VC is a good candidate for dripping. Whip it out, do a couple drip cycles to get the banana craving out of your system and be done with it. I am kind of attracted to the GJ juice based on your comparison. I think if the banana were faint I would like that better than if it slapped me around. I've had enough slappin' around for awhile with that Vita Bella.

I had initially thought it was like the taste of red delicious apple skin, but I know better know, though I still get that taste.

I didn't get apple, it was more like, I dunno, a big, fat boysenberry or something. That's not really it either, but it was, uhmmm, what's the word I'm looking for.... tart? I'll probably eventually break down and ask, it doesn't sound like I'm going to figure it out. I'm going to bust it back out tomorrow or the next day and try again though.

Ever see people arguing about what a certain cigarette tastes like? :)

I will end my tonight's posting with four more words: Darth Vaper's Vanilla Tobacco!

Oooh, I hope you like it! (That one really does need a nice long steep, imo.)

Hi All...After all the venders and samples I've been through the last couple months I think I've finally found my vendor.
Prime Vaping...Natural Virginia...extra shot of flavor...all VG..I'm likin it!
For someone whos looking for a juice thats not overly sweet, tobacco taste dominates.

Congratulations!!! Finally! :)

It's cool every once and awhile and it does happen naturally due to conversing about the thread topic. The tricky thing about this situation is that many non-posting members and non-memebrs read these threads, and quite often, people don't read the entire exchanges. What can and does (I am sure) happen is viewers read snippets from conversations about juices that are contrary to the topic and unbeknownst to them go on thinking juice A or B is a "Natural Tobacco" because they read it in the Natural Tobacco thread. No one has the time nor desire to police and or correct every post, but it should be as cohesive as possible. Heck, even talks of other vendors happen in specific vendors threads, but it should have a relatively short shelf life.

Threads can be tricky sometimes, luckily we can start a new one that can be a spin-off--most of my threads are spin-offs.

Vita Bella: It's easy for me to say this now, but VB is playing tricks on the brain and palate. This is one of those situations where simple ingredients provides the largest impact. I will say, the ingredient profile is not extensive at all! As two how extensive, well, ask Freud.

This is all true. Or, someone may learn from my question that Alien Visions is NOT a NET vendor. Because as you say, people (like me) don't have time to read all the exchanges to see if it had already been addressed and discussed. Alas, I will try my hardest to drive 55, to color within the lines, and to stay out of the weeds and on the field.

Couldn't agree more with this. This is the one place on the web (as far as I can tell) that we have to discuss this highly-specialized artesan product with a small but devoted and growing following. When I first became interested in NET's, I spent hours and hours sifting through general "what's your favorite tobacco" and vendor threads to find a little snippet of information here and there. I had very specific questions such as "who else makes these?" "what other flavors might I enjoy," "why are they gunking up my coils so quickly," and "what types of devices should I be using these in," but I had a hard time finding answers to these basic and fundamental questions. There is a wealth of information in this thread, and we've all benefited from each other's experimentation and reporting, but we still have a lot of work to do. Lively discussion keeps it interesting, but we've also got to do our best to stay on topic in this thread if we want to keep it accessible for ourselves and anyone else who might be interested in NET's.

That's a pretty good point, although we could have a separate and WAY bigger thread about who ISN'T a net vendor. :)

You're too fuuny. GT, if you are interested, from what I have tried from Darth Vapers so far, they seem like a nice middle of the road NET vendor. So far so pleased. I like to have degrees to my tobaccos. I think of the easier going NETs as being almost like non-NETs. I may be about to have a juice sale in the classies because I got juice that is non extracted tobacco and I know it's just going to sit there. It sucks because its good, but I know I just won't vape it. I am not the kinda guy that likes to have superfluous, unusable stuff lying about. Whatever is with me is what I want to be my go-to, even if just once a week--once every month is not going to cut it.

GT, also, I have been in talks with Brian from Highbrow and he promised me that all his tobaccos are extracted. You could email him and tell him exactly what you want and he will customize a juice specifically for you. It very well may work as many others tout Brian as a great interpreter of juice desires.
