When he said nicely filtered I assumed he meant clean as far as gunking things up. In my atties the aros gunk up the coil quicker than GeJ, though not as bad as many other NETs. He also mentioned using a carto, when I tried BGB in a carto it was garbage after one refill. The aros are clean compared to say W2V, but less than GeJ.

This is what I have found to be true.

Speaking of Ahlusion, anyone have any info on the xpress line? Looks like 5ml for $2.50 but $7.00 more for 10ml? That can't be right. Also, will this mean the samples sent for over $20 will be 5ml?

Sent from my LGL55C using Tapatalk 2

That is correct. These will all be pre-steeped/pre-mixed -- no profiling on the XPress, no ratio alterations, and no excessive steep times! I think it is AWESOME! I will finally be able to try a huge selection of juices!

The "samples request" policy will probably change due to the availability of $2.50 size bottles. However, if some are dead-set on not buying juice in certain ratios, for whatever reason, I am sure something will be able to be worked out.

Also, has anyone tried Sahara Blend yet? This one interests me more than any other right now. I won't be able to order for a couple weeks though.

It's not available yet, but I will be first, or second ;) in line!

Nice!

They work for a lot of people because they are pretty much exactly the top note flavors added to commercial cigarettes. That's why they immediately seem familliar to some cigarette smokers.
Now if someone wanted to do a cigarette NET right they would apply the correct top note flavors to the correct high grade RYO tobacco blend and let that age, then extract that. That would sell big to ex-cig smokers!

Hangsen is a great place for some to begin on this NET chase.

Taken from their site: "Hangsen is unique in the electriccigarette industry since it is the only company that has developed its e-liquid naturally from tobacco. E-liquid is significantly better quality when it has been extracted from tobacco than when it is synthetically produced, therefore we have developed a 10 acre tobacco extraction factory in one of the largest tobacco growing areas which after many years of research has allowed us to produce the finest e-liquid forming the best electronic cigarette. We only sell at the wholesale level, so if you are after individual products, then please contact one of our distributers in your area."

I have had Hangsen liquids and they are decent, along the lines of a Dekang type, and it is not bad juice. I have had a lot of bad juice and I wouldn't necessarily put this in that category, but it ain't necessarily worthy of an in-depth review.

Now that bit about being "the only company that has developed its e-liquid naturally from tobacco" is silly.

I just had my first taste of White Beard, a new hybrid from Velvet Cloud Vapors. It's a 100% VG juice described thus:

"Medium Tobacco flavoring, butterscotch, custard, and other 'old-time favorites'"

This doesn't taste like most of the other NETs we discuss here. It has the distinct greenish taste of tobacco absolute, and indeed the website for VCV says that the proprietors in fact distill the tobacco absolute themselves in-house.

It's no secret that I haven't been a fan of TA juices in the past, mainly because that fuzzy green-leafiness is usually used injudiciously. Most obviously in the catastrophic VV juices but also in offerings from Mom & Pop and others.

And yet here I sit with an empty clearo that held 1.6 mls of day-old White Beard a scant few hours ago. It took me that long to decide whether I liked it. I guess the fact that I finished it means that I do :)

White Beard has a woodsy ashiness on the inhale that screams TA but quickly settles into a Burley tobacco of medium body. The butterscotch flavorings promised lean more toward butter than scotch (haw haw :glare:) because this is not sweet at all but gives an impression of sweetness (does that even make sense?) Rather than flavoring the tobacco it smooooooooths it out so that the sandpaper grittiness of the TA becomes a unified flavor. The fact that the absolute was used in a restrained way pleases me more than is polite to say;). This is no "dump some TA in glycerine" hack job but a serious, if unorthodox, natural tobacco juice.

Being 100% vg has two expected consequences: huge silky vapor, and almost no throat hit at 24mg.
Overall this was an interesting juice to vape, if only to prove to myself that I can like a TA juice if it is done well. I look forward to tasting this again as it steeps.

Also have Burley Beard, which is their "straight" tobacco, on deck to try.

I might add that VCVs website is easy to navigate and is illustrated with lovely and whimsical watercolor paintings, if that matters to you.

WOW! I hadn't read this prior to my review and it seems as if our "findings" are very similar...and they were two different juices.

Mr Mann, thank you! Loving Vurley, BGB is really good, and jury still out on DD, will have to try it in my RBA, still finding dripping in the Boge atty to be finicky, and while I got good flavor from the first two, couldn't really taste the DD. But maybe I need to not vape them back to back!

Thanks again my friend, Ahlusion order forthcoming, as soon as I can get away with it (wife is trying very hard to curb my spending habits of late).

Mr. Mann, what I'm confused about is in the xpress line it shows 5ml for $2.50 and 10ml for $9.50. It's gotta be a mistake but is the mistake that 5ml is suppose to be the only selection available or that the price is marked wrong for the 10ml?

Jerms, I will find out.

Thanks. It happens when I do the add to wishlist so maybe it only needs to be fixed there.

I'm very excited about the xpress line. That's a very cheap price to get 5ml for. I don't mind not having the ratio option since I'm not to picky on that, and almost always get their recommended ratio. Gonna be awesome to be able to try 4 of their flavors for $10.

I can almost guarantee you that's an atty issue lol. DD has a LOT of flavor. I didn't find it to really be stronger than BGB like most people tho, just different flavor. They both kick like a mule.

The first time I tried DD I actually fell down in surprise. Luckily there was a chair right behind me:p: but seriously, I had no idea that E-liquids could do that.

Lol. That was my experience with BGB, my first aro experience. I was shocked, delighted, giddy,... and a little bit scared. It blew away my perception of what an eliquid was capable of. Even the smell of it when I first opened it was a shock. DD scared me because I was under the impression that BGB was DD light, but was pleasantly suprised that it has a whole different flavor.

Just my take, but you need to either drop the Boge attys (never knew they had those available), or find yourself a "palate cleanser" vape for transition. DD is really pretty raucous if you ask me. More so than BGB at least. Haven't tried the Vurley yet myself.

I sure hope some of you got a chance to get Devil Dog. Let me tell you, this Dog is not a dog to toy with. I love it when a vendor delivers as described. For all real tobacco lovers: if you like W2V but hate clogging attys, try this. Actually, I think this is an overall better vape than what I've tried (all of the NETs) from W2V. Saying that is not as much demeaning to W2V as it is HIGH PRAISE to AHLUSION!!!!!!!!

Oh, and the TH at 18 is a wallop!

When I met the dog last August. It is a crazy time going back to old posts.

TB!!! What's up! Good to see you around here. You should stop by more often. I agree about the Cartos. Just sold the only two carto tanks and only 10 Cartos I've ever owned. I Vaped one tank of juice out of each and that was more than enough. You've never tried Vurley??? I need to send you some!!

I bought luceblueboy's collection of excess tobacco juices, and they should arrive Thursday or Friday. They include Ahlusion's Maple Burley, Caribbean, and Vurley; Vermillion River's Poker Blend and Game Night; Beeliquid's Tobacco #5, Tobacco #2, and Tobacco #8; House of Liquid's Cigarillos Naturales and El Toro Guevara (especially excited about these); My Vape Juice's Savage Tobacco and Vanilla My Hero Tobacco; Goodejuice's Patriot and Fire Cured; and Good Life Vapor's Angry Cuban (not NET).

Can't wait to try them.

Thanks, luceblueboy!
