I was going to sneak a taste of each in my 357 but thought better about it. I don't want my first impressions to form on unsteeped juice. The waiting is going to be hard but I just broke open some " Analog Mild " from W2V. This juice is incredible! I can't believe how they got it to taste like a fresh Malboro Red smells.

Funny, Boomer. I just received my MVJ's. Same crew - Rogue, Country Squire and Wicked Wench. I'm tasting WW right now. It's nothing too special yet, but there is some potential. Diane wasn't lying' when she said this chick gots da funk! I'm guessing it's from the aged burley, as it's a flavor I've never tasted before. It's a brown-ish, grassy kinda funk with a definite aged quality to it. Not bad. More to come, but I'm gonna put it away for the recommended two weeks.

Scarfy..this Candied Cavendish is interesting. I'll be toking on this for the next few days to see if it has any sustainability. There is what tastes like a nutty bottom note in it. I'm not big on nutty but this one doesn't seem to harm it too much. More in a few days...

How do you like TPR's Burley and Candy?

Interesting, right? I hadn't realized. I also have very little experience with TA. I'm not surprised that Nick pulled it off the way he did. I haven't vaped it since the first few days I got it. I was getting cinnamon (but not like Smooth Criminnamon) :D Go figure. Gonna revisit this week now that it's about 3 or 4 weeks-steeped.

I got the nuttiness a little too as it aged. For a bit it mainly reminded me of banana runt, though in a good way for me, and later it deepened into a banana nut bread flavor.

And that's where I might be picking up the nut flavor. I am usually eating banana in a nut bread so my mind might be playing tricks on me. CC will need multi-day sampling before I can sort through it. It's not offensive so it's in play.

First impressions: My Hero Black & Blue by MVJ

I finished off the last of my MH original and vanilla over the last couple days. After vaping MH that was over 4 months old to this that was bottled a few weeks ago, the drop in tobacco impact is noticable. The flavor on the exhale from the tobacco of the MH line steadily gets deeper and richer as it ages, so this one will be put away for a chance to get to my sweet spot. Not to say I find it lacking right now, I just know how much better it will get in a month or more.

The blackberry and blueberry are done very well. MH vanilla played like MH with added vanilla, and was pretty successful that way, but this feels more that the flavors are part of the tobacco. I think part of the reason is because on the exhale the tobacco and berry seem to share some similar notes, making for a good harmony. That aspect might make it my favorite of the My Heros, but that's only if the tobacco ages as good as I think it will. These are juices that for me are best put away and forgot about for a season to get the most out of.

Aged Burley eh? That reminds me of G.L. Pease Cumberland...20 year old Burley in that blend. Actually, it would be close to 30 now I think. Man, I bet that stuff would make an awesome NET!

Hadn't even heard of aged Burley myself, I should give it a google. Whether or not it's the aged Burley that has it tasting new to Nick, it sounds like a pretty interesting NET. I like juices that introduce me to a new flavor.

The Burley in GL Pease Cumberland wasn't aged on purpose, I don't remember the story but it was just forgotten in bales in a curing barn or something and ended up being great.

I read something recently about a bunch of cigars that were discovered in a large humidor that turned out to be over 50 years old, and that they were still a great smoke.

Uhhh, well, since Nick said,

"Hey Jeremy,
No secrets here bro."

I guess I can say AC has 5% TA, but Patriot? Nope, that is 100%
Certainly not 5% pure TA though, right? It's often recommended that it be diluted to 1% before adding drops to an e-liquid mixture. Vaping a mix with 5% pure TA would taste like straight up deisel fuel....it would be no wonder people thought TA had a "dirty" or "ashy" flavor if it regularly got mixed that concentrated.

Southern Gentleman is hitting the spot pretty well today. After the fruitbaccos yesterday, peach and cherry aros from Ahl, Legend, and B&B My Hero, it's a good change of pace. I'm agreeing today with what a couple had said, that the restraint with the smoky Latakia is a positive for this juice. Not sure if I'm gonna switch to GeJ FC and WL later or get started on Red Pirate or Jiggy. What's on others vape-menus today?

I'm pickin up where you left off, Jerms. A little blend I call Honey Blue Burley - equal parts Ahlusion's Honey Blues, Honey Cured and Blue Grass Burley. This has become my #1 frankenjuice, and a must-have lately. I also have Patriot with me today.

Well-satisfied.

Sounds like a winner. Had a chance to use the German silica yet?

Yes, been meaning to comment, but it's a longer commentary than time has allowed lately. I'm really enjoying it. I'm on my second rebuild on an IGO-S. It seems to hold up much longer than all the other silica I've used, especially using the 30 gauge Kanthal. Thanks for both of those recommendations! I have ten feet so I'm gonna roll with this for a good while.

Glad you're liking it as much as I do! That exact same set-up has been my favorite lately. 10 feet of long-lasting silica in the tiny IGO-S should last me a long time. I've tried a couple builds with my new IGO-L and can't get a good vape from it, user error since it works so well for most. With the center post so far from the wall it's harder to get the coil as close to the air-hole as I like. Gonna ask for some help in thr RA section how others are doing it.

Hey Jerms, I received the "braided" wick from DV. It's twisted not braided. I heard from Stormy, she's looking into Ekowool, so that's a possibility from a US vendor.

Sounds like a winner. Had a chance to use the German silica yet?
