Thanks for this. I am definitely not a big fan of dry. I keep wavering on trying HHV as I have heard more than one person, remark on a chocolatey, or (worse!) "Tootsie roll" note in all of these? Still I may have a go with Dark Horse, and Legend just to see for myself.

And yes. I saw what you did there lol.

I've vaped every HHV tobacco there is and I don't get "Tootsie Roll" from any of them. It baffles me when someone says Legend (nee Gandalf) tastes like Tootsie Roll. It isn't my favorite vape by any stretch, but I can find no chocolate in it.

Sweet! That is actually true! lol. I think I can ID them by flavor, and Bella by color, naturally...

Yeah VB is easy, turns a nice reddish color. GJ4 will be the sweetest of the rest. NP will probably be a lot milder than Patriot and at 2 weeks NP might be starting to develop the funkiness. A few more weeks the funk of NP should start taking off more.

Thanks. That gives me a little more buyer confidence... I don't mind a note of unsweetened chocolate but Tootsie Roll?! *Shudder*
I recently regressed and ordered some HDV juice. All but one or two non tobaccos,(Cherry and Christmas elixir), had fairly strong maple flavor. Not my thing
Which of the HHV tobaccos do you like best?

I got nothing from Legend that made me think of tootse roll or chocolate either. Maybe cherry Cavendish reminds some people of tootsie roll lol.

I was a fan of Huntsman and Dragon's Fire for the longest out of all the affairs I had with each.

Dragon's Fire, Shadow, and Heavenly Army are probably my top three. I Like Heavenly Tobacco pretty good, although it's not a NET. Pirate's Booty is usually near the top of my list, but the last batch of it is a little too "cigarish" for my tastes. It's not bad, just not in my top five at the moment. I keep Legend in stock, but I don't vape it often.

Just placed an order with QnJ yesterday to restock my Grandpa's Night Cap and thought I'd try some Proudest Monkey. It's made from a Flue-Cured extract. I haven't had much success with previous banana vapes but I liked the Flue-Cured base idea and it might go well with the banana. I believe it will all depend on the level of banana incorporated in the juice. Too much and I think it will be overly rich. We'll see.

I liked that one - didn't love it, but it was good and interesting.

This will come as a surprise, but it needs a very long steep to be, well 'right'. Otherwise, the
blend isn't good - bananananana and baccy.

I tried the QnJ 555 and had to lick my feet to get the taste out of my mouth. Super chemical taste
(in the juice, not my feet). I figgered it need a long steep to be good. Long steep happened, now
less chemical taste; but, it's still there and still not good.

Been steeping it since the fall of last year. Maybe next year.

Proudest Monkey is actually a pretty well-balanced banana. I didn't particularly like it, because banana is not really my thing, but I had an interesting experience with it one day: I received a sample of it in my order from QNJ. It was well-steeped - say, 4 months or so. Tried it, didn't like it, so I put it away. A few days later, I grabbed the Grandpa's Nightcap, which already had a big thumbs up. Dripped it. Mindlessly vaped it. Dripped again. Vaped it again.... wait.... somethin's off. I look at the bottle and guess who it is? That damn chimp! I was able to get through 5 or 6 drops without even realizing I was vaping banana, but once I realized, it was all over. It's definitely worth a try for folks who enjoy banana in a vape. I gotta say though - it's rather yellow runt-like, but banana flavoring is a hard thing to do. The tobacco was pretty tasty though. :D

I had no luck with Proudest Monkey; as a matter of fact, it was the one that I actually disliked. Now, I never re-tried it after the first vape, so steep on, brutha, steep on!

I've tried a few primate juices and they have never cut it. It would seem I should enjoy those as banana is kind of a mellow, dull sweet. So I'm giving GeJ's version a shot. If they can't do it, then it can't be done and I'll throw in the peel towel. Let us know how steeping affects your monkey juice. In true GeJ form, I'm expecting it might take 2 - 3 months. :)

You mean QnJ? Or do you know something I don't?

Pardon, You have seen the list of preferred NET vendors on this thread. Unless you have one foot in the grave and another on a banana peel, I would recommend you sample all of them and take your time. It takes time and as we have all found, steeping plays a critical roll. Also, don't kid yourself...so does flavor acquisition. The juice might change, but so do your perceptions. Go ahead and grab a sampler from HHV (Dragon's Fire, Legend, Serendipity, Huntsman would be a good start) to see if it is a fit for you. Move on to the other vendors as your time and budget allows. You'll find what fits your profile. I'm big on HHV but others are not. Others love Ahlusion and it does nothing for me. The only way you'll know what strikes your fancy is to try them all. But have patience and don't give up on any of them without a thorough exploration of each juice. Give them a chance.

I really dislike 555's. I think the chemical might make it taste better. :)

If I have any one complaint about GeJ or QnJ juice (in general), it's that it can be a little on the dry side and affect its durability. I can't vape it for more than 2 - 3 hours without taking a break. So I'm curious if QnJ's primate juice (made from Flue Cured) is a little less dry and if it would make for a good blender in the more straight up NETs. Good info Nick. :)
