First impressions: Red Pirate by Want2Vape
The
tobacco used to make Red Pirate is Red Man chewing tobacco. I didn't know anything about chewing tobacco so I gave it a google. I couldn't find the specific ingredients for Red Man, but learned a little about chewing tobacco. The leaf used is dark air tobacco. It's air cured like the lighter colored Burley, and has large, almost oily leaves, and is also used as cigar and pipe tobacco. The "scraps" or loose leaf dark air tobacco is cased with sugar, heavy syrups like corn or molasses, licorice, and other flavors to make chewing tobacco.
Those ingredients sounds like a good atty clogger, and this
juice is. By far the dirtiest of the premium tobaccos from W2V. After a ml my silica wick was mud and my coil needed a dry burn, but flavor was affected even before that. If the Vapensteins are as bad or worse than this, I'm not really interested. The other premiums weren't bad enough to be an issue for me.
Flavor-wise it's pretty good. Pretty smooth and deep with some nice sweetness. I wasn't crazy for it but I do enjoy it enough to finish the bottles. The only part of the flavor I don't like is just mental, it does in fact taste like Red Man and it makes me think of chaw spit.
All-in-all, I'm impressed with the W2V tobaccos and will re-order a few. For the premium line I would list from fave to least as 1. CI Cigar 2. Blond 3. Coffee-Infused 4. Alcazar 5. Red Pirate, and I also really, really like PURE "Smoke".
