Hey Jerms, speaking of Steve, did you ever do that one thing? I talked to him already and he knew what was up. If you did already, holler at me with your impressions.

Sure did, he sent me a little info on the two he was most wanting feedback on. One thing I can say, I'm pretty excited for what's in store. I sent pretty detailed feedback. Didn't get a reply from it, but wasn't expecting one, just hope it was helpful for them. If you pm me your email addy J I can forward you the feedback I sent on.

You convinced me to try RBAs. Have 2 in the mail as well as mesh and wire. Guess I'll find out if an old man with thick glasses can make that work!

What did you get for RBAs? I've only been interested in the dripper style with quality silica so far, pretty easy to get the hang of setting up after some practice. I have thick glasses too, so as long as you can see through them you should be good lol. I also have permanent shaky hands from a decade and a half of extreme alcohol abuse and can still come out with a good build. Last night also just purchased 100ft of 31ga Kanthal for $8 shipped as the 30ga makes for just a tad less resistance than I want.

I got an IGO L and a RSST. 28 and 30 g to run on my mechanical. My damn hands shake also, same reason I suppose.

I guess I should try some of the wick you got from Goodejuice, sounds good.

That was Boomer who's trying the braided wick from GeJ. I like the German double-twisted silica from RTD vapor. Very durable silica, wicks great, and no odd taste, love the stuff. Don't know anything about the RSST, but the IGO-L will work well with the SS mesh wick you have coming, just need to learn how to properly roll and oxidize it.

The 28ga should run extremely well on your mechanical. It's some thick wire so it will hold it's shape well. If you take a lighter to the wire before using it takes the spring out of it for easier wrapping. I'd go the 28ga route but I just have a VAMO. You'll appreciate being able to run the dirtiest NET with ease on these RBAs, dry burn when needed and just like new.

Has anyone else had the honor of trying scarf's "Nougat Burley Cavendish"? I'm dripping some for the first time and I'm having a real hard time trying to describe the taste. I'm a Cavendish fan anyway, and this is pretty nice. The tobacco is light and it's got a real candy like finish.

scarf continues to give me hope that if the FDA manages to screw us we'll all have an alternate plan of action.

GT, that juice was one of my earlier extractions so it's had a good long time to age (did I put a date on the bottle?) The base tobacco comes from Alexander's, a really excellent online tobacco merchant (cigars.com.au). Here is the description from the pack:

"Blended from superior golden African burleys and mild black Cavendish tobaccos, an excellent taste, aroma and smoking quality is partly provided from unique vanilla and nut flavors. Mild."

Besides that, there's no flavor that I added...just bacco.

Maybe one day we will all say, "I remember Scarf-ace when she was a poster on the NT thread." ;)

I just recently got an Igo-L and an Octopus. Both are really easy to re-wick. I got my wick today and I expect some ribbon Kanthal tomorrow. Then I'm going to re-wick them both and an old A7 I have. I'm really tired of having to re-juice the 306's and HH357's every few puffs. Hopefully the taste will not change radically using the Igo types. I have a ton of new juices to try, not to mention my own to test, and the NET concentrates and the........ man this is fun!

Oh, almost forgot. I'm a big Kanger fan. T3's, EVOD's, ProTanks and I just got a Kanger mini T3. Tiny little clearo takes 1.6 ml of juice and puts out clouds of vapor along with fantastic taste. Really a great buy for $6. It actually taste better than any cartomizer I've used including the Fusion.

Yep, thought so. It's good and steeped now. I will have to look for some...I might have given it all away

Ahhhh, those were the days, huh, guys? I remember one time meeting up with Scarf in NYC for dinner and a vape. She gave me those two Samuel Gawith extractions-- St James Flake and Scotch Cut. Wow! Good times. Good times.

That Scotch Cut was one of my best. Lots of Latakia for all you Devil Dog/Apache fans. I recommend it if you're going to try your own extractions.

I can second the Kanger recommendations... I've been vaping juices from MVJ, CravinV, GeJ, HHV and MOV in them without issues. I've been using the Evod's which are only 1.5ml but the replacement coil/heads are going for about $1.50-$2.00. I also got the ProTank on Monday and am having equally good results but all I've vaped in it so far are HHV's Legend ( 1 tank ) and 2 tankfuls of Serendipity....

If I recall... Scarf-ace didn't have the same luck with the T-3 ( or MT-3... same thing basically ) but I don't recall which juices she was vaping in it ( them )...

That is some thick Pyrex in the Pro. Not bad for $15. I'm still using the first T3's I got last year and I've run a lot of dark, heavy juices in them without a problem. The only problems have easy fixes except for not fitting on some mods. Remove the flavor wicks to get rid of dry hits. Cut down the stem gasket for better wicking. I have also found that it's easy to lose the skinny white oring up in the bottom of the ego connector in the EVOD. Other than that I could be happy if these were the only delivery system available. But where's the fun in that?

Rd, have you posted a reaction to the CravinV NETs yet?

I remember posting something about the one I got, I only ordered the Menthol Tobacco... I can't remember if I said much or not now since it was right after receiving it. Budget kept me from getting more at the time.

Now, a couple of weeks later... I can say that the Menthol is really that and not mint nor is it overwelming... The tobacco notes are of a smooth mild to medium bodied non-aromatic with a well rounded and slightly sweet flavor. I think it's a pipe like mix on the tobacco but what tobacco's is hard for me to tell. I find it enjoyable but not overly interesting, as a menthol cig flavor should be actually with a bit fuller flavor.

I have this in my menthol, cig replacement rotation along with MVJ's mentholated Savage, Rogue and Country Squire.... I select which one based on my mood of course and usually end up with the Country Squire late in the day when I usually prefer a stronger tobacco taste.

After reading reviews and feedback from many of you pertaining to Ahlusions offerings I finally placed an order. Came home from work today delighted to find a box in the mail. Carmel pear black tea, chai tea, smooth Criminal and Blue Grass Burley. I tried the first three and obviously being in their infancy it is hard to tell what they will be. I will give no individual feedback other than to say I am looking VERY forward to some steep time on all three. Then there is BGB. Straight out of the box I am really enjoying it. My weekly rotation currently has three HHV baccos (dragon's fire, legend and huntsman) all of which are around a month and a half old. I really enjoy all three for their maturity of flavor. So to have a juice that's 4 days old stand up to those is very impressive indeed. Really excited to start diving further into their line up.

Nice! I love all those. Chai Latte was great to me right away. CPBT started out caramel heavy and the pear and tea balanced it out with age. SC will change a lot too but as I'm sure you've read BGB needs no steeping.

Ahlusion's a great vendor if you like them. The variety is huge for all types of vapes, and they are all unique.

Evening everyone, Just dropped by to say hello and see how everyone was.
Mr. The, GT, Hula, Scarf, Nick F, Jerms, others. I have missed your lessons on and the tob talks.

I have mostly moved away from the tobs. It is part of my plan to eventually get off the vape too.
Seems to be working so far. Hope you are all well.
