Bronze, I absolutely positively dislike being un-organized. I've lived away from home most of my life, and hated the notion that "guys" tend to be messy and cluttered. I worked very hard to ensure that I was the complete opposite. It worked well with the girls while I was growing up, and now it's just a way of life. ;)

Mr. Mann.. at the base of all my testing lies the simple fact that I started down the NETs road looking for a juice that I could vape on my pipes. HHV has given me that with Dragons Fire and Heavenly Army. While those are more on the flavourful side, they do stand apart from most, if not all of the juices I have tested so far which represent the more "tobacco" side of the spectrum.

In real life, I've never had an actual "cigar" other than the occasional port wine flavoured one for fun or a puff or two on a friends "cuban" cigar. Same with Pipes, never actually puffed on one. But, the smells from pipes and cigars are forever engraved on this little brain of mine and I am pulling on those resources while testing these juices.

Yes, I'm weird! :D

Not weird to me Dust. I think we're alike in our devotion to DF and other HHV. I vape them predominantly. But I do enjoy a TOBACCO vape too even if it is the minority of time. Perhaps this is where you land as well.

I decided to taste the NETS I got from MVJ. They are Rogue. Country Squire and Wicked Wench all in the Original editions. All were mixed 50/50 12 mg with 25% concentrate to make 15 mls of juice. I used fresh 306 atty's for each flavor.

This is going to be hard for me to describe, I'm really not any good at reviews but I really wanted to hear what you folks have to say, so.....

These have only been steeping for a week but I wanted to taste them once every week to see how they change. I have to say all three gave me a strange experience I never got from any other juices I've tried. While the flavor, TH and vapor were what I expected, none had any body or depth to them. I'm hoping this will change as the recommended steep is two weeks. The Rogue had just a hint of cocoa and vanilla but as with the others I got this watery, hollow impression that I never experienced before. I think the Country Squire will wind up my favorite of the three as it was very tasty ( of what I'm not really sure yet. Couldn't pick one particular flavor. ) the Wicked Wench wasn't as strong as I expected and had a burnt woodsy flavor which, if it levels out with more steeping, will be excellent.

Hopefully by this time next week I'll be able to condense my impressions into a more cohesive, somewhat intelligent post.

Look forward to it Boomer. One day I would like to give MVJ a spin.

Yeah could be JDS, I didn't get much flavor from the My Heros on a 510 myself. I found the MH deep in flavor but shallow in complexity, if that makes sense. If a JDS isn't picking up on the small range of low notes it delivers there isn't much else to detect.

Or very well could just not be your thing. The MH was one of those that I like but would have a hard time recommending to others because of the lack of complexity. It hit a note I was looking for like "Smoke" from W2V does (different notes, same idea) but lacks enough obvious quality that makes me think all NETers should give it a try.

Someday though if you get a chance to try a very VERY well steeped My Hero Original on a dripping RBA you might get a surprise from the boom boom of bass that comes out.

Boom,

have you tried Vaperite? I have this burning desire to to revisit them, but I am given pause due to my hesitation with the sampling lifestyle again. Who here, you included, has anything to say about Vaperite (positive or negative)?

I recall being thoroughly unimpressed with their NET juices, especially the amount of gunk they left on my vape equipment. Some of them tasted okay after the first few puffs but then they would all taste burnt from the residue.

The only one I liked enough to finish the bottle was their non-NET RY4.

I think it's exactly where I land. I use my Pipes maybe 3 to 4 times a week for a couple hours. I think a strong "tobacco" may fit that vape time perfectly..

Going to try and get round 3 testing tonight, but am a little bushed after Chloe's birthday party.

Ten girls, 5 and under running around my house for 3 hours.. yeah, definitely lost some brain cells and gained a few white hair today!

I wasn't impressed with MyVapeJuice NETs and offered to pay them forward. Since I had no takers, I steeped then loaded them up (too tight not to use em). MyHero and Rogue have become decent vapes but I find the others don't really do it for me. These juices are what they are...simple, single leaf extractions (until Wicked Winch). I think for quite a few people they will work, particularly DIYers. Like Boomer said, vendors aren't rushing to sell NET extracts.

Way back in this thread during the original discussion of extracting at home, someone posted a link to Leaf Only. MVJ juices are much what I would have expected a successful simple extraction would yeild. Scarf mentioned that she went for good cigars and pipe tobaccos because they were blended by a professional tobacconist, yielding a more complex flavor. Obviously, tobacconists make the big bucks for a reason.

Diane is to be commended for her NETs and I hope she continues to experiment and develop new products. I've been running these juices in mega cartos with very good performance. That is an accomplishment in itself given NET performance from some other more established vendors.

LOL. They are fun though aren't they?

The issue I have with TOBACCO vapes is they tend to be on the drier side. For this reason, I vape them in shorter bursts (maybe two hours per day). I really enjoy them for those couple of hours though. Great flavor. IMO, the sweeter tobacco vapes (like HHV) tend to have more durability. If I had to, I could vape DF 24/7.

I can only vape a dry juice for a few hours too before wanting a sweeter vape. I can go longer with a sweet vape, but if I don't have a dry tobacco for a couple days when I do it's amazing. Same thing after vaping a dry juice for a while the first few pulls of a sweeter vape are all the more sweeter.

A lot of times I have no idea what I'm in the mood for and have to have a few vapes of several juices before I can settle on something for a longer session. One thing I miss about my disposable atties is that was a little easier to do than with my dripper RBAs, though if I keep my wick short it's not too bad.

Ha...I do that to. Pick up a vape that isn't working and go on to another one. I have about 10 - 12 devices dedicated to my fave juices. Then there is always a couple filled with ones that I'm sampling. I have to be honest...I've had my fill of sampling. Though I kind of like sampling Scarfy's stuff. I have a few more of hers and one GeJ (Proudest Monkey) in my bullpen. In time. :)

There I go again giving GeJ credit for Proudest Monkey. Sorry Rich! :)

Or was that Nick? :)

Revisiting Pendragon after a long steep. It was one of the first bottles with the increased extract level but don't remember the born on date. The tobacco has stepped forward substantially and the cherry settled a bit making it quite good actually. Using a new battery in my mechanical with a dual coil, low resistance carto (1.6 ohm) so watts are fairly high.

Here's a review of three Highbrow Vapor e-liquids that I really, really enjoyed (full review and steeping notes here). In the interest of this thread is the company's Tabac de Perique. I really enjoy the sweet and nutty tobacco flavor of this juice. It's not as "funky" as other perique juices I've tried since burley tobacco is used in the mix too. The burley does a great job of complementing and taming the perique.

No experience with them. What are your recommendations?

Totally hand jiving!

I've vaped that juice daily or every other day, so can't tell if it's changed much from fresh to a month old. Still is a perfect blend of vanilla, cherry, and tobacco for me. Higher watts definately brings out the tobacco more. PenD is in my top 5 NETs of all time, even tops Smokin' Cherries for overall enjoyment. Not to dis SC though; SC, PenD, and Legend are my trifecta of amazing cherry-baccos. I can stick to those 3 all day and not get sick of cherry, they each play it so different.
