"Leafy" is good. I originally referred to Dark Horse as having "vegetal" qualities, which, oddly enough, strikes me as not quite "leafy." I guess "vegetal" is more like "grassy," but "grassy" seemed to me to be slightly too suggestive and specific.

For some reason grassy had clicked for me before leafy, though I suppose both types of notes would be considered vegetal. Maybe I ate more grass as a child than leaves lol. The leafy I'm getting has a certain bite to it I don't equate with grassy.

Dark Horse immediately made me think grassy when I had tried it, really grassy in a good way. I just briefly tasted Huntsman so far but was a little disappointed that it didn't scream grassy as much as I expected. I don't know if I'm remembering DH as grassier than it was or if I was under the wrong impression that Huntsman has it stronger.

One thing I neva-eva understood was the supposed connection between the clear-ish colored (at least it was when I had it), cigarette-type juice like Dark Horse with the deep amber colored, pipe tobacco juice like Huntsman. Granted, the last time I had those was last year, but the closest think Dark Horse reminded me of, in terms of other juice(s), was Backo from BWB and Marlboro Type from TPR.

I guess I got get some Huntsman so I can see what is up now, DH may just have to stay a memory.

Yeah trying Huntsman didn't click with anything I remembered about DH. I am looking forward to getting to know Huntsman though, just have to erase any pre-conceived ideas of it.

Have you ever tried Heather's Heavenly Vapes? I'm thinking their Dragon's Fire might be just the type of flavor that you're looking for.

Volt! How's it going dude? You hooked on House of Cards yet? ;)

Interesting. I actually found that Huntsman was extremely grassy to me even earthy. For me Dark Horse has a very dry floral taste to it. When I used to smoke Kamel Red lights every once in a while I would get a drag that was very floral tasting and that's exactly what Dark Horse reminds me of.

Quick nic Juice (QnJ), Proudest Monkey...initial impression. (70/30, 18mg, vaped in a bottom coil) Steeped: 15 days (caps off the first two).

Hmm, this juice has a very strong banana aroma out of the jar. It's unmistakable. But there is not a strong banana taste to it. It's there to be sure, but I would put it in the subtle category. The prominent flavor is the flue-cured tobacco base. And it is quite pleasant. I'm finding I'm a fan of flue-cured and the QnJ version is, indeed, pleasant. I would characterize it as smoky. This is not an overpowering vape and there is enough banana flavoring that keeps it from being dry. I like this quality as it makes the vape more durable for me. I can vape it for longer stretches.

I want to cozy up with this some more. I really enjoy it for my first experience. Keep in mind, I'm a very picky vaper. But this one has my attention. I want to see what affect additional steeping has on it. Will the banana get stronger or will it fade? I can say this much, this is my fourth attempt at a banana juice and it is easily the best of the four.

One last impression. Scarfy kind of put The Plume Room's, Candied Cavendish in the banana column. I have to say, Proudest Monkey reminds me a lot of CC. The candy is less prominent than in CC and the tobacco comes through a bit more. And for this, I believe I like it more than CC. If you're a CC fan (and I'm at least close to one), or a medium flavored flue cured fan, then Proudest Monkey might be one worth trying. My guess is someone like MM would find this toward the lower (but acceptable) end of his "blow your head off" spectrum. For "take your time and enjoy the sights" kind of vapers like myself and GT, I would put it right in the middle.

More impressions as this ages. So far, I give it a thumbs up. I sure wish QnJ made more NETS. They're good at them. Hint, hint!!

From my perspective, Huntsman needs to steep till its a medium amber color. At that point I call it sweet hay, and earthy almost a cigar wrap flavor. When it turns to black you'll get a more maple flavor to it. It may be that underlying "not even in the ball park when first vaped" maple that's knocking the grassy descriptive out of it and makes it a heavier and stronger flavor than DH.

Yeah trying Huntsman didn't click with anything I remembered about DH. I am looking forward to getting to know Huntsman though, just have to erase any pre-conceived ideas of it.

I'll start watching it soon, will keep you posted. Right now I'm hooked on Game of Thrones. The last scene from the last episode was like DAMN! ...?! Did you watch it yet?

BTW, I'm really enjoying Heavenly Army right now. I think it has improved with steeping, even though I liked right off the bat.

I can't believe that happened to ***** in that least episode! I never thought I would've felt for that character.

Anyway, V, guess who bought a 60 mL of Tobacco Haze? :2cool: I had it prior to your sample, but I thought it was terrible before yours! Sometimes we need to give things more chances. Thanks for that old sample you sent me.

Sigh.. I guess seeing all those threads popping up about fraudulant charges didn't quite prepare me to see the -700 balance when I just checked my bank account. Bunch of $80-$95 transactions two days ago along with $30 insufficient funds fees for each one. Guess I'll find out tomorrow how much of a hassle it's going to be at the bank to get this fixed. I'm guessing (hoping?) I won't be held responsible for any of the $, but I'm still a sad panda. I hope Sweet Georgia Peach can brighten me up.

I can narrow it down to about 30 possibilities lol. Bound to happen to someone who orders from many places online. I'm going to set up a seperate account and just transfer to it to cover online purchases. What I don't get is how so many transactions went through when there was no funds available, but I'll find out from the bank tomorrow.

Ah crud! That's too bad J. Bank account hmmm? Maybe a debit card or ATM or paypal? - I know the gas stations are popular for criminals putting those thin personal ATM swipers in - you really got to look carefully to make sure the slot is really clear, and that the waiterin your restaurant doesn't look really furtive when you have your card swiped by the same gadget for the same reason.

Debit card transaction, ATM, paypal.. all possibilities. Best chance from an online transaction, since almost all transactions from this account have been for that, but not the only possibility.

Sheet dude, my condolences. As someone whose cc has been compromised more than once, I know the blind rage you are feeling. Hope you get it sorted.

I can't believe that happened to ***** in that least episode! I never thought I would've felt for that character.

One of the online forums has given the character in question a new nickname: Lefty.

Yesterday I spilled a bit of Ahlusion Honey Cured on the sleeve of my hoodie. In the elevator of my apartment, this sexy Korean woman tapped me on the shoulder and said, "Oh my god. What is that cologne you're wearing? I've never smelled anything like it. It's totally hot!" Thank you Wlad for acquiring me a date this weekend!
