CW, what juice delivery system are you using for those W2V juices?

For tasting, I drip so I'm not wasting anything. If i find that I like it right away, I will occasionally fill a T2 for my eGos... Then I can take it to work the next day. (I use a T2 with an eGo twist at work because my other mods are still a bit large).

For normal vaping, I'm using a Kanger pro with the 2.5 ohm heads on a Tesla VV - I am also trying out the iClear which gives a bit of a different flavor I've noticed (I also have vivis and vapeonly bccs that I use from time to time). Primarily tank systems though.

I do have a cheaper bottom feeder coming this week (VMOD) so I can try it out. I dont have a rebuildable yet - still trying to decide what to get there.

With these, I may stick to dripping. They are definitely stronger flavored and, for the London/Paris/Louisville, not juices that I would want to vape all day.

If you have other recommendations, I am definitely open to them. I still have a bunch to learn.

Any relation to Canned Heat?

CW works for me. :)

CannedWolf is one of those forum names I've had for years and years - it's been shortened into a few combinations - Canned, Wolfie, CW, CWolf etc. CW is definitely the easiest to type.

Since I've used the same nic for a very long time, I will very rarely bump into someone that I know from another site and that usually garners a "hey Steve" which tends to make a few wonder.

In all actuality, I'll answer to just about anything :D

Any relation to Canned Heat?

Nope.

It comes from a truck stop chotchkie/side-of-the-road tourist shop item: you can see one by clicking here

A long time ago, this was purchased for me while on a road trip from Denver to Phoenix. One day, I needed a screen name for something or other and saw that can sitting on my shelf and went from there.

Gee, Canned Heat. That takes us old geezers back a ways to halcyon days of yore (with much foolishness tossed in, as I recall).

Let's see: Alan Wilson, founder, rhythm guitar, harmonica, and vocals, dead of a drug overdose at age 27 in 1970. Bob "the Bear" Hite, vocals and harmonics, dead from a heart attack at age 38 in 1981. Henry Vestine, lead guitar, dead of respiratory failure at age 52 in 1997. Only the the bassist, Larry Taylor, and the drummer, Adolfo de la Parra, still survive (sort of the opposite of Spinal Tap, with its exploding drummers, LOL).

Ah, we hardly knew ye.

Didn't realize Alan Wilson with part of the 27 club.

Tobacco, tobacco, tobacco, Patriot.

Ahem :)

So yea - in all the hub-bub of me going off and answering the questions in my head versus those actually asked, I forgot that I had more vapemail coming today :D

From Ahlusion
Mostly tea based flavors (I love tea... its all I drink so, I wanted to try some beyond plain green. Picked up 10 to try)
But, I did get:
- Apple house blend
- Cherry house blend
- House blend
- Desperado
They were out of Burley when I ordered but, its on the list for next one.

I also picked up a sampler from Virgin Vapor
- Dark side of the moon
- Georgia Gold
- Thrilla in Vanilla (which I got to have a 3rd in the 3 pack - I'm fairly sure I wont like this one)
I got some other flavors as well - pure fruits and nut flavors mostly for mixing with other things but, maybe on their own. we'll see.

My HHV gets here tomorrow.

I am going to write up notes for all of them as I get to them though, it is likely I won't get to all of them tonight. I'll post the tobacco ones here :)

I also decided that I'll keep tasting notes in the blog on the site if for nothing else so I can go back to initial impressions and the like... figured that would be easier to keep track of. I'll link to the posts for other flavors if folks are interested.

Good times :)

The house blends don't require much if any steeping. Personally, the house blends are too light in the bottom for me, but thy're not bad or offensive. Desperado, on the other hand, requires a steep to taste like anything (to me)--don't let the aroma fool you, it smells great, but barely has any flavor at first.

If you really dig the house blends but want more tobacco, you can partner those up with corresponding aros. For ex: House Blend can be paired up with Blue Grass Burley (or DD), Cherry HB can be partnered up (seamlessly) with Smokin' Cherries, and Apple House Blend can go with Devil Dog or Blue Grass Burley (or wait for an apple aro ;)).

Which NETeas (LOL) did you get? I ordered Boba plain today (along with Sasparilla (sarsaparilla), not tea, but it's a fantastic vape).

Nice! Look forward to your impressions. I love tea vapes too, and Ahlusion does amazing things with tea. I'm interested in your non-bacco impressions so def put up a link.

That's great advice. thank you. I am getting into pairing a bit more with the juices that dont hit it out of the park for me but still aren't bad or those that are relatively plain.

The NETeas (I do like that btw:) ) I got were:
Black Pomegranate
Black Peach
Caramel Pear Black
Mystic Spice
Masala Chai
Ginger Apple
Cranberry Autumn
Passion
Berry Shangri-La

I am fairly sure that a few of these will make my never again list but, i had to give them a go.

I also missed a tobacco in my last post... I also picked up Deal Maker

When I got some MyVapeJuice ( MVJ) Wicked Wench (WW) given to me in the last order... I was a bit intimidated by the description Diane had given it on their website...

My "fears" were completely unfounded. Let's just say that her idea of "funky" and mine are a bit different. To me, "funky" is something out of the ordinary, interesting and unexpected. Perique is one of those flavors and is one of my favorites, Latakia is another, though not to my taste...

When I first got and tasted WW at the first of April, it was almost flavorless... so I set it aside to steep. I'd also ordered some of their other e-liquids - some metholated versions of Savage, Rogue and Country Squire and in addition, I'd got some Heather's Heavenly Vapes Legend and Serendipity.... so I wasn't without by any means. In fact, I ended up having a vape affair with Serendipity and I'm still lovin' it.

A few days ago, I finally thought it was time to revisit WW and see what I thought. I still have no idea how to describe the actual flavor notes ( which is why I haven't posted about it yet )... I can say that this one is one of their better mixes... it's a smoother flavor overall. It is also a fuller and darker flavor than Country Squire is by a step or two more. The finish has a surprisingly sweet tobacco flavor that I suspect several will find enjoyable. There is also a little bit of an earthy flavor note that I get at the end of the inhale just as I start the exhale... I'm guessing that is from the aged burley that their description mentions but I wouldn't discount it coming from the fire cured or flue cured tobacco's...

Diane has stepped up her game on this one... It has a much fuller and richer flavor than any of the others I've tried and I believe it a much better balanced flavor. The sweet tobacco notes I get on the exhale are a nice twist that I didn't expect but do enjoy. I'd enjoy seeing a review from someone that has a better palette and is more familiar with different tobacco flavors than I have... If you had tried and enjoyed MVJ's other tobacco's... add this one to your order list and I think you'll really like it.

I will toss thoughts over there along with all the cross links and such.

That one looked really good actually. I drink a lot of black, green and chai based teas now so, I am hoping these flavors get close. From what I've read, some of these take a while to open up completely... I am definitely ok being patient :)
