Hey guys and gals - so i got the patriot and paris. had to try them without steeping.. ;) the patriot is ok but has a slight sweet note that reminds me of hangsen ry1.. thats not bad but gonna steep a little more. the paris.. first few vapes yeah i got that 'leathery taste' but then it mellowed and is absolutely perfect with a beer :toast: great! i think this is what i was looking for :)

Awesome! I was wondering if those were going to work for ya. Patriot will change during steeping so you may like it more later.

looking forward to trying more of your suggestions. i like the sweet vapes, but can not do that all of the time, its too much for me.

You'll be a good candidate for some of the more aggressive, less sweet vapes. I'd suggest some of the others in the Want2Vape Signature Blend line. Apache and Southern Gentleman from MountainOakVapor. Devil Dog and Blue Grass Burley from Ahlusion. Are you interested in any flavored tobaccos like; vanilla, fruit, maple, etc?

The slight sweetness in Patriot is only from the natural sweetness of the tobacco. It also gets better with steeping (3-4 weeks).

Glad you're diggin' Paris. Take a look at GeJ Wild Turkey, a very good Turkish tobacco, and I really like Acadian Gold from GeJ as well. I also just got Louisville from W2V and bet you'd like it also. It's straight up Burley and I would imagine it would work well with adult beverages but I no longer partake.

Thanks for the tips Jerms :) BTW.. is that short for Jeremy? or just a screen name nothing to do with your name> j/w :D

as far as vanilla, fruit, maple, etc.. i do like ry4 and honey tobacco, and do like vaping fruit flavors, but as far as keeping it sweet all of the time, i just cannot or do not want to do that i guess. maybe its the fact cigs werent sweet or maybe its the fact i would never eat deserts all day, dunno. ;)

Yep, short for Jeremy!

I've always liked fruit vapes, and love vanilla, caramel and honey in vapes. These days I usually prefer them as a combo with tobacco. Ahlusions aromatic line has a lot of choices for strong tobaccos with other flavors. Vurley is great vanilla tobacco and the fruit ones I've had with cherry or peach are amazing. They also have honey and maple options I haven't tried yet. The Blue Grass Burley would be a great choice in that line for a straight bacco, and if you like it try the others too.

There's some great NET RY4s available too, like GJ4 from Goodejuice and Full Virginia Flake RY4 from MountainOakVapors.

I'm with ya on not wanting to vape dessert all day. I like to switch up between sweet-baccos and more dry tobaccos. Too long with either style I get tired of it.

Acadian Gold is back in stock now! Jerms also gave you some great suggestions. All recommended are top shelf juice and easily saleable if not your thing.

Love a bunch of fruit vapes i have by Dripeez.. and do have a Peach tobacco by MBV and it is steeping but i dont think they are very well known by their tobacco flavors, it may be good who knows, i havent tried it yet.

Same here. When I put my order in Acadian gold and wild turkey were sold out and I wanted both. Next time around I guess, but all of this talk about Wild Turkey being so good is not doing me any good

Finally have Apache, Devil Dog, and London on hand to compare all three. All are English pipe tobaccos and although similar there are distinctive differences. All 3 contain Virginia(s) and Latakia. Apache and London contain an Oriental while Devil Dog contains Burley(s) and some Perique while the other two don't. London has the least Latakia impact and strongest base tobacco, dominated by the oriental, slightly dry with no sweetness. Apache has more Latakia with a similar base, not as dry. Devil Dog has a touch of sweetness from the Burley base and is a bit smokier, more Latakia than London, less than Apache. Devil Dog is by no means sweet but vaped behind London you can definitely pick up the Burley "sweetness".

Similar but distinctly different, if you enjoy one you would most likely enjoy the others. If you don't like one, I doubt you would like the others. These are quite strong tobaccos and aren't for everyone.

Coclusion: all three are fantastic NETs! Very authentic, strong tobacco flavor, high satisfaction vapes!

Most excellent comparison my man! Lots of great info and a helpful review of them.

I have a feeling I'll dig Apache with the extra Latakia kick.

Thanks Jerms. Not nearly as good as your reviews. Sitting here with those three juices in front of me, I feel like I've reached some kind of a vaping pinnacle for me.

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I maintain that if you've tried either Acadian Gold, Wild Turkey or Wrangler Light, one is enough. They all taste very, very similar, even after long steeps.

Haven't tried Wrangler Lite yet but I don't find Acadian Gold that similar to Wild Turkey. The Perique in AC gives it a bit of funk that blends nicely with the Burley base. Wild Turkey on the other hand is straight oriental, dry, sharp, and leafy. Put a little more heat under them like we were talking about earlier and they separate and become different.

Fantastic! Where would NET reviews be (these days) without some comparisons and contrasts?! Now I'd be interested to see your take on how they all vape on their own days.

I agree--well, with 2/3 of this. With it's cocoa infusion, Wrangler Light IMO is quite distinguishable from Acadian Gold or WT with. That being said, WT and AG are similar vapes.

My bottle of WL is about 6 months old, and I still like it almost as miuch as I originally did, but my bottle of AG and WT got sold at about the 3-4 month mark.

Just an FYI: WL received a similar makeover as the Patriot did last year, but I think I give the edge in flavor to WL V1. V2 has got a natural cocoa and I like it just fine, but I think Nick's hand was kinda forced (sourcing issues) with having to reformulate WL.
