My eVod will hopefully be in tomorrow! I saw Busardo's video and it looks easy and fun to rebuild. I like how it uses such a small amount of wick, my German silica should work great.
I just received a protank and evod this past week. Unable to leave well enough alone, I recoiled a protank head with some xc-116 ceramic. Vapes pretty nice but there's nothing wrong with the stock heads although I did remove one or two of the 'flavor wicks'. As for the german silica, I love that stuff. I use it in 3 of the igo-l just for my heavy-hitter aromatic nets and man do those things have me spoiled. Flavor is just fantastic.
Very good flavor and vapor production but the draw is like sucking on a big Dairy Queen straw (the big ones that come with shakes) without the milkshake!
It depends on what you're comparing it with. It's a fairly tight draw compared to my AC9 with the stock 1.5mm airhole. That thing was like drawing through a 1/2" pvc pipe the first time I tried it. With the 1.2mm cap on the ac9, it's about like the protank. Compared to a carto, the protank is airy. I think the draw on the protank is about the same as the igo-l with the stock airhole. After you use the protank for a bit, you'll probably grow accustomed to the draw. My biggest gripe is the metal drip tip, just not my thing. Agreed, the vape is definitely on the cooler side due to the bottom coil.
