Does anyone else worry that if you vape a flavor you like too much you will start to dislike it? I find myself not vaping DD too frequently out of that fear.

Don't worry about tiring of the Dog, he will always call you back! Like you, I have found I prefer the stronger, "spicier" NETs. I keep enough different ones on hand that if one starts losing its attraction, I just switch. I'm finding it pretty enjoyable to have a stash of pretty much just favorites.

Cracked open the Pendragon today, and filled up a ProTank with it. At almost 2 months steepage, it is representing itself wonderfully. The cherry and vanilla notes have taken a back seat and the tobacco has come to the forefront. It's not a knock your socks off a la Devil Dog, but it's complex enough to warrant a mention.

It's only 9mg but the throat hit at 8.5watts is sufficient to keep me satisfied.

Really liking it so far.

Is there any NET out there with a similar profile to Patriot? It seems to be my favorite of the 20 or so I've tried and no others are like it. What tobaccos does it contain? Not looking for exactly the same thing, just want to explore more in that flavor profile.

Patriot is Perique, Burley and Cavendish. Nothing really similar. Try Acadian Gold- Perique and Burley, Fire Cured- fire cured Gold Leaf (Virginia) and Latakia. Both are from GeJ. I still have that sample of Natural Perique for you also.

How do you do MO style pulled pork? What do you use in your rub? We use a vinegar based mop (basting sauce) and serve with cole slaw on buns.

Rub: salt, pepper, sugar, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne.
No mop. Vinegar comes in the sauce. Better bark that way.
I also prefer cole slaw on a bun, but most around here don't.

I have some steeping as well and am really looking forward to it. How has the smell changed for you? For the first week, my Pendragon smelled almost like fish sauce. It's not like that anymore, but still smells very different from how it tastes.

Happy to see PenD doin okay for you Dusty. I didn't notice any changes with age since I didn't go more than a couple days without vaping it for the life of the bottle. It was always wonderfully perfect for me from the time I received it.

Not even going to comment on the Bobas discussion lol.

EVod worked flawless for me all day. Forgot to bring a back-up carto heading out of town for just-in-case, but wouldn't have needed it. Like I suspected, the flooding I originally got was just user error from over-priming. All day, not a single gurgle, leak or dry hit. Won't even need to bring juice with me as it lasted all day and still isn't empty. It's so awesome there's hardware like this that someone new to vaping can can just use almost hassle free. These make using cartos seem complicated.

Tried my coffeebacco today. It is not as transcendentally good as the teabacco. But the choice I made of tobaccos was a good one: Gawith Chocolate Flake, which is a blend of Burley and Virginia with some Latakia in it. The spicy Latakia bite complements the cocoa flavoring, which works well with the coffee. I think I might sweeten it with a drop of ethylmaltol.

One thing though: it smells pretty bad It has an odor of day-old cold coffee grounds which isn't that appealing. And the color is even darker than my usual tobaccos....tarry dark brown that clings to the bottle when shaken. I shudder to think what this would do to conventional atomizers. But I have vaped 2 Phoenix-fulls and it is curiously moreish.

Sheesh Dale, Get her back ON the medication and take a doc's advice re scaling down. HRT for example can be cut down to every other day for a couple weeks, then maybe every 3 days for a couple of weeks and then maybe one time a week till weaned. If she is taking an SSRI/anti depressant that can take months and needs to be monitored very gradually and carefully. Depends what the med is, but best thing is to reduce little by little if it's causing those effects.

The cultural rift is beginning to manifest itself. I have never eaten a digestive biscuit though we definitely have them in Australia, but our pies are savoury in nature and contain meat in the centre. A 'meat pie' is a quintessential iconic food item here. Mainly, pies have beef in a gravy sauce within a typical pastry pie. The crust is quite crispy. The dimensions of a meat pie are smaller and thicker than an American Pie. Other favourite varieties are chicken, chicken and vegetables and 'shephard' pies which have beef, cheese and potato. The closest thing I've tried to an American Pie is Danish apple or blueberry pies. American Pies have been spoiled for me by the movie American Pie and now I can't think of an American pie without.. you know.. something 'meaty' inside of it I jest)

But I think I can imagine what you mean. The liquid that immediately comes to mind when you describe a graham cracker is Bounty Hunter from Niteline.

it is similar to a digestive biscuit in texture and, for some anyway, in flavor as well - think dark pie crust that has been sweetened with a bit of honey... kind of a sweet meal with a pinch of malt... and, in some cases, a bit of shortbread taste.

In the 4 years I lived overseas when my GF at the time wanted smores, the closest we could find was digestives.

If I were grilling something over a campfire, it would either be Corn rubbed with lime and spices or something that was alive earlier that day.

GT, this is a country that takes salty axle grease, puts it in jars, and markets it as health food. Even as I type this, Mr Scarf-ace is defacing a perfectly blameless piece of buttered toast with that filth.

Anthony, the closest thing to graham crackers in flavor is probably Tiny Teddies biscuits.Crumbly-dry and slightly sweet. Graham crackers are wholemeal though. 'Smores are kind of like the homegrown campfire-cooked version of Wagon Wheels.
