Can someone tell me what is the optimal steep time for Wild Turkey Gej. Mine is about 2 weeks old now. It doesn't taste steeped though, and I am hoping, that it needs more steeping before I get the best out of it. Right now it's lacking bite and flavour is diffuse. I Is it a notoriously long steeper or will 3 or 4 weeks do the trick?

In other blog-like fragments of my vaping experience of late, I am really loving Want2Vape juices in my Igo-L. I started with London which was pipe at it's best. Earthy, robust, some grassiness and leafiness. Authentic pipe experience. What impresses me about Want2Vape juices is the lack of sweetness while still providing wonderful satisfying flavour. Lousville was divine. I prefer this burley (and I think it's burley, forgive my lack of real education on tobacco leaves) over all others, and that includes ahlusions Blue Grass Burley, which, while is an amazing juice, lacks the authentic analog like grassy notes of Want2Vape. Like it's namesake, ahlusion BGB is artful, fancy, bold and rich, flavoursome to the point that it tastes like someone mulched up grass clippings from a lawn and extracted a juice out of it. Both juices have hit all the right notes and have their place, but just in my own subjective taste, Want2Vape's Lousville is the down to Earth, European short film to ahlusions Hollywood blockbuster fictionalised storyline. I love a good hollywood blockbuster and the suspension of reality, but sometimes I want to taste some reality, something familiar and close to home which I can relate to. Lousville (and all the Want2Vape NET juices mentioned here) do that for me.

I have since loaded my Igo-L with Managua. Once again, this dripping RBA has drawn out flavour from this juice I didn't taste in other set ups. The taste of rich fertile soil, mild nutty tones and a whiff of chocolate the exhale. Dry, aromatic and familiar.Tastes a bit like MVJ County Squire but with more dimension, layers and complexity. County Squire is still a great juice in my opinion. It tastes just like a cigar and more on the Want2Vape side of the sweetness spectrum. Any NET that is not sweet is impressive in my opinion, all other factors aside. Cigars are not sweet. Pipe blends are not sweet. Cigarettes are not sweet. a NET that is not sweet appeals to me when I am in the mood for an old favourite rather than a new artful vaping sensation.

When I am in the mood for strong non-sweet juices, Want2Vape and Gej hit the spot in the limited range of juices in my possession, and sometimes, only Want2Vape alone can do it for me. There are some days, albeit rare, where everything tastes a bit too sweet for me, including Patriot (which never tastes bad, just sometimes, on the rare occasion, sweet to my palate). On these days Want2Vape Vapenstein NET blends and premium NET blends are indispensable.

I've got some Apache from MOV on it's way and I can't wait to try it. I also have Rygar, Blondie, Want2Vapes RY4 and others on the way. Can't wait.

Optimal steep time for Wild Turkey is about 37.5 seconds for me..... :)

Mine never really changed with age.

And it never will.

If you love it fresh, that is a plus; if you don't and you hope it will transform, buy another juice and put the Wild Turkey label on it--poof, transformed.

I was hoping you'd like the Evod, Jerms, and I was confident you would :)

Happy to see PenD doin okay for you Dusty. I didn't notice any changes with age since I didn't go more than a couple days without vaping it for the life of the bottle. It was always wonderfully perfect for me from the time I received it.

Not even going to comment on the Bobas discussion lol.

EVod worked flawless for me all day. Forgot to bring a back-up carto heading out of town for just-in-case, but wouldn't have needed it. Like I suspected, the flooding I originally got was just user error from over-priming. All day, not a single gurgle, leak or dry hit. Won't even need to bring juice with me as it lasted all day and still isn't empty. It's so awesome there's hardware like this that someone new to vaping can can just use almost hassle free. These make using cartos seem complicated.

You are referring to VEGEMITE! Now what a fabulous liquid flavour idea. Surely vegemite flavoured e-liquid would make Devil Dog crawl into a hole somewhere and whimper.

GT, this is a country that takes salty axle grease, puts it in jars, and markets it as health food. Even as I type this, Mr Scarf-ace is defacing a perfectly blameless piece of buttered toast with that filth.:nah:

Anthony, the closest thing to graham crackers in flavor is probably Tiny Teddies biscuits.Crumbly-dry and slightly sweet. Graham crackers are wholemeal though. 'Smores are kind of like the homegrown campfire-cooked version of Wagon Wheels.

The cultural rift is beginning to manifest itself. I have never eaten a digestive biscuit though we definitely have them in Australia, but our pies are savoury in nature and contain meat in the centre. A 'meat pie' is a quintessential iconic food item here. Mainly, pies have beef in a gravy sauce within a typical pastry pie. The crust is quite crispy. The dimensions of a meat pie are smaller and thicker than an American Pie. Other favourite varieties are chicken, chicken and vegetables and 'shephard' pies which have beef, cheese and potato. The closest thing I've tried to an American Pie is Danish apple or blueberry pies. American Pies have been spoiled for me by the movie American Pie and now I can't think of an American pie without.. you know.. something 'meaty' inside of it :p I jest)

But I think I can imagine what you mean. The liquid that immediately comes to mind when you describe a graham cracker is Bounty Hunter from Niteline.

We have meat pies here as well. They are called pot pies at the grocer - restaurants sell them and call them what they are - there is a restaurant not too far away called Pies and Pints. Guess what they sell. :) When I wrote that, my description took the different ingredients pies into account.

Scarf's description is a good one - I had forgotten about Teddy Biscuits (a very similar product exists here and is called Teddy Grahams).

One other thing that came to mind - when I lived in Sydney, I did have cheesecake from time to time. The crust of a cheesecake is typically graham cracker so, that's one more bit that may help you with the flavor identification.

of course, you could just buy some Graham Cracker liquid ;)

Hello,

I like tobacco taste and I also like bold, distinct, complex and in-your-face flavors. I have tried Ahlusion's Smooth Criminal, Backwwods Brew (Virginia and Backo), ECOpure Rich, Roar Vapor, Aroma (G.I Joe WTA, Turkish Blend WTA and DK Tab WTA), Heather's Heavenly Vapes (Legent), Velevet Cloud Vapor's (White Beard), Johnson Creek, Roar's Vaper tobacco line of samples, and some others. I guess there is nothing wrong with any of the said juices, except that I did not taste tobacco in any of them.

I am waiting for samples to arrive from Want2Vape, Mountain Oak Vapers, Vaperite, VapeDudes, The Plume Room, and Vapor Station (Tampa and Frisco).

I have heard good things about the following juices: Ahlusion: Blue Grass Burley, Caribbean Blend and Devil Dog and Good Juice: Acadian Gold, Natural Perique, Organic Tobacco #1, Patriot, Vita Bella, Wild Turkey, and Wrangler Light, but I cannot order all of them.

If you could order only two flavors from Ahlusion and Good Juice, which flavors would you recommend I try?

Thanks.

You're going to want to stay away from Cavendish (cut/style) tobaccos.

GeJ -- Patriot/ Natural Perique

Ahlusion -- Blue Grass Burley/Devil Dog

Thank you for suggestions guys. If you have any other brands/flavors that fit the description of what I am looking for, please feel free to make a suggestion.

One other thing I would like to mention. I have heard so much praise for ECOpure Rich (Vapenstein's review comes to mind) that I had to try it. I did not have high expectations, because I am not sure I understood how the juice can be described as "incredible" with virtually no flavor, but I have heard over and over that it somehow almost perfectly emulates an analog experience. So I got one bottle of it, the real stuff, 20ml nicotine, and gave it a try. It is a "clean-tasting" juice with very little throat hit and very mild flavor (it is not unpleasant or anything) that I cannot really describe.

Am I the only one that did not find this juice to be special in any way? I have tried dripping it, then I tried it in ProTank and in T3 at different voltage/resistance levels on ProVari, but still nothing special. I know taste/vaping experience is subjective, but am I missing something?

Thanks.

Dan33- Did you order a sample of Apache with your MOV order? If not, that's another bold tobacco.

As far as goodejuice, I love Organic #1, although I wouldn't describe it as an in your face kind of tobacco. It's just really good and smooth.
Yes. I have ordered Apache, Southern Gentleman and Sunday Morning.
