I am vaping Want2Vape Alcazar Cigar in a Vivi Nova on my MVP at 5 volts and I am getting a hint of what I taste in Vapenstein's Paris Blend. It is a smokey note - is this Latakia or Perique maybe? Anyway, this is a very good juice.

:)

Alcazar cigars are Maduros made with Nicaraguan tobacco, and Connecticut Broadleaf for the wrapper. I think most Maduros are fermented to give it a darker color, and Perique is fermented also so that may be where you find a similarity.

A thousand pages in about a hundred days. We can see Just how important that elusive tobacco experience really is.

Browsed the first forty or so, and the last dozen, of this thread so far. And I have to say thank you. This has been most informative.

Actually, about a year plus a hundred days.

Some new vapers want to leave tobacco as far behind as possible. That's fine, whatever works.

Some of us enjoy the tobacco experience from vaping as much or more than we ever enjoyed smoking! For me, replacing smoking with something I actually enjoy has been a life saver!

Read some more and ask questions, you're sure to get feedback.

What's on the menu today NETters? I started the day freaky and got weird with some Jiggy. Right now, laid back vaping some OrgVanPipe from Cravin. Next plan to kick it in gear with HHV's Huntsman. Later plan on getting freaky weird again with some Blond or CI from W2V, or if I'm not feeling frisky I'll hit some of their more straightforward cigar vapes. That's the plan anyway.

Started the day with some Gorilla Juice. Patriot (Booya!) all day at work. Mixed it up with some Pendragon after work and chilling now with Vita Bella and Habana Daydream over Red Stripes.

Vape mail today. Got my Smoktech chrome pipe. Very nice, heavy feel for it's small size, button's perfect. I only have one 18350 that's not mated with another battery, and it's been charged many many times so loses juice fairly quick. Need to get a couple flat top batteries. Fun to vape and hits pretty hard, don't think there's much voltage loss. A buddy is making me a Churchwarden stem, looking forward to that.

Ahlusion order came in. They didn't make them 15mg. :( oh well, I'll keep asking. Will taste test them soon.

I just vaped the rest of my W2V Louisville in ole Treebeard

tb1.jpg

I have to say I am freaking out that I didn't reorder sooner. I have a nice supply of London on me, but I think I surprisingly like the Lousiville better. I also got some BWB Bluebacco in. Need to let it steep for a few more days before reviewing. Anyways, freaking out about being out of Louisville...but luckily my first ever batch of Devil Dog! and Bluegrass Burley...as well as some Mapple Burley...should be here Monday!

Juicy, you have some awesome pipes! Louisville is definitely a fine vape! Although Devil Dog is similar to London, it is different. Interested in your thoughts on it when it comes in.

To date amongst the many discussed here and beloved and esteemed Vapenstein that I have tried, including GEJ Natural Perique and Patriot (why do I have an on again off again with this juice? Does that make it great?), the W2V Luis and London, assorted Backwoods, and too many non-NET's the Louisville is the best juice I have ever had, period. Both that and the London make me feel like I am smoking, period, and it is glorious. I have ot from a trusted source that the DD and BGB may trump the Louis and London...a very, very bold statement and one he stands by. So I am very excited and curious too!!

I'll bet that came from Nick Fantastic. He definitely found his sweet spot with Ahlusion and many others feel the same way. The best part is we have many great choices! After you try Ahlusion, you should try Mountain Oak. Their English pipe, Apache, has a Turkish base and is quite flavorful. I think you'd probably like Southern Gentleman also.

Patriot (why do I have an on again off again with this juice? Does that make it great?)

About ten years ago I was reading Robert Anton Wilson and Robert Shea's Illuminatus! trilogy. Every six pages or so I would ask myself "why am I still reading this piece of doo doo?" I did that throughout the entire 800 pages of the book.

Love/hate is an interesting sensation. And yes, that's what makes it great. ;)

Decided to go old school and vape my new Ahls in a 901 atty on my new pipe. Lemon Cream and Strawberry Vanilla Cake were both very good. Once StrawVanCake steeps I think it's going to go real quick. Such an authentic strawberry, I still want a straw-bacco. Gold Rising is good, though nothing like an RY4 which I'd already known. Aging will do it good I'm sure. Biggest surprise is the Apple Wild Woods. Good God, I can tell I'm going to love the Wild Woods line. Brand new, the apple is faint, but good. The tobacco is.. I don't know if it's nutty or woodsy, but something about it grabs me right away. Quite different than other Ahl baccos I've had. In the steep box it goes with 4 other Ahls, looking forward to getting them all into my rotation.

Definitely one of my favourite's as well. For some reason I am not loving it in the iclear30 but in everything else, it's one of my favourite vapes.

Why do I like Huntsman so much? It seems to have the perfect balance of tobacco and sweetness, and aside from Patriot, is like the perfect tobacco flavor.

I go to bed vaping it, and wake up to it. It's just so balanced.

Legend is good, but Huntsman is so much better :)

I am vaping Southern Gentleman from MOV (the old era SG) in my protank and Acacia Gold - Gej in my VapeOnly BCC. I go through phases where I will have a bunch of RBA's on the go and then return to the tanks.

It's taken me a little time to work up to Acacia Gold and SG but now I am enjoying them both immensely. Both liquids are sublime, unassuming and refined. Acacia Gold was one of the last Goodejuice liquids I was reaching for before but now I am enjoying it more and more as the acquired taste effect has set in.

These are different juices representing different tobaccos (I think) and yet I detect many common features in them. Without looking at the juice profiles on the respective sites I would guess they both have virginia, giving them cigarette like qualities.

Both lack sweetness, which always is flattering about a juice for me. Non-sweet juices are the real deal. No ethyl maltol to try and artificially enhance the flavour and a good raw tobacco flavour. As much as I like sweet juices I really respect a bold realistic juice lacking sweetness. Both have subtle undertones and layers of flavour that really only present themselves when you've vaped them for a while and gotten acquainted with them.

Both have a light clean refreshing flavour. I've gotten no ill effects from vaping these along with no jitters from nic high. I can get 'full' on some juices during the day, wanting a change to something else for the accumulative and repetitive flavours, but like my old favourite cigarettes, I have enjoyed vaping these flavours all day.

Acacia Gold has a light refreshing straw like flavour. I can almost taste the 'gold' in Acacia Gold however abstract that may sound. SG seems to present a whiskey like undertone and the same full virginia like flavour giving it cigarette qualities as well.

I have the new batch of SG but I want to finish the older one first. I have tried the newer one and it has more tobacco impact.

These are both wonderful liquids and have all day vapability. I was reaching for both all day long. I started with 3mls of each in my tanks today and both tanks are down to 0.5 ml.

I haven't tried it in the iclear30 yet; I only have one, and I can't bring myself to take out the Heavenly Army ;) I have been using Huntsman in my T2 Triton Tank, and it's been working out really good, flavor wise. I'm really surprised by the flavor I get out of those things ;)

Of all of the comments about Huntsman, I wasn't certain if I would like it. Everyone seem to treat it as something unique... and as far as HHV juices are concerned, I suppose it is. It's the most true tobacco flavor I've tried from them (although Dark Horse is in the running, but that's a totally different beast). Huntsman just hits the right tobacco notes for me, like Patriot or Organic #1 from GeJ.

I just ordered another 30ml. It's a keeper.
