I'd venture to say that it rises to the level of a tizzy, perhaps even a brouhaha!

I have been reliably informed that I have samples of Dover Court, Chris' Blend, Gold, Balkan, Cognac Cigar and Chewbacco en route to me right now:)

I also am quite interested in the Chewbacco, being an ex-chewer/dipper. I have Red Pirate on my wishlist from W2V as well, but am really excited to give this one a try, too.

It wouldn't accept my order earlier, I get this; Gateway Response: The merchant login ID or password is invalid or the account is inactive. There was an error response communicating to the payment gateway server. Please try again in a few moments.

Yep. that's what **** said when I emailed him. just wasnt sure if it came up early.

The cart software hasn't been added to the site yet, from what I understand. It will almost certainly be added and working on the 8th.

I am also finding myself very tempted by the MOV sale this week......need to find some vape funds, STAT.

I have 15ml bottles of TNO, Gold, Black Forest, Chai Tea Latte, and Independence in the shopping cart. 75ml of juice for under $30. Hopefully the funds enter my bank account tomorrow before I'm tempted to add another 3 pack.

Uh oh. Just went to MountainOakVapors site. They have some new non-tobacco, high vg juices that look promising on sale, and a seasonal blueberry, raspberry, vanilla juice called Independence that's even cheaper. With the baccos I plan on getting, I think this sale is gonna cost me some money.

That's why I just grabbed the two three packs and got out without Window Shopping, I probably would have doubled my bill.

JG Blend from www.ahlusion.com

The Juice: JG Blend is a Cavendish extracted tobacco from Ahlusions non-aromatic line, infused with coffee notes. Options selected were Dark Roast (Light Roast also available), 12mg nic, and 50/50 vg/pg. Aged for 1 month.

The Hardware: ERA clone dripping RBA on a VAMO.

Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best.

Sweetness: 3. This is a comfortably sweet juice. They have the option to add additional sweetner, but the standard level of sweetness should be enough for most vapers. The tobacco involved is Cavendish, which is naturally sweet, so a sweet juice was expected. I wonder if it would be better if it was a little drier, but I don't feel it is at all too sweet. Smooth Criminal from Ahlusion continues to become drier after the first month, so I wonder if this will too after an additional month of age.

Tobacco Impact: 3. Similar to other Cavendish NETs, this one isn't smoky, leafy, grassy, or anything like that. It's not complex, but it tastes very good. Straight-forward and pleasantly sweet. It has an important role in the overall flavor, but know's it's role is that of supporting player. The lack of aggressiveness and bite is a big reason this works so well for me. Coffee is a very complex flavor, one of the most, and leafy or grassy tobacco notes might feel wrong with it.

Vapability: 5. Coffee flavor, when done right, is similar to straight tobacco or vanilla to me in that I can enjoy it at about any time, just like I can enjoy a cup of coffee at any time. The juice tastes great, full of flavor without being aggressive, smooth and sweet. Unlike other coffee tobaccos I've had, the coffee flavor stays strong with and doesn't quickly fade like others. It also has legs, I can gladly vape this for long periods.

Flavor Accuracy: 5. Sold as a coffee tobacco, tastes like a coffee tobacco. Ahlusion is at the top when it comes to authentic flavors, and JG Blend doesn't dissappoint. The coffee is fantastic. The dark roast option I chose tastes like a cup of fairly strong, high quality coffee, but isn't bitter or unpleasant in any way.

Overall: 5. Best coffee tobacco I've vaped, and by a fairly large margin. The tobacco is unremarkable while still being very good. The coffee side is where this juice really shine, and I'm glad the tobacco doesn't try to compete with it. I'm curious how this juice continues to age after several more weeks, but won't find out with this bottle since it's so good right now. Next time I'd like to order a bottle with the light roast option, just to compare, and another dark roast again to set aside for long steep.

I used today's column to go over my favorite new (to my tastebuds) e-liquids of 2013. Unsurprisingly, most of the juices on the list are NETs and the top three slots are Ahlusion e-liquids.

What are your favorite new (to you) NETs of 2013 (thus far)?

Smooth Criminal

I swear the tobacco is Desperado, but Wlad says it isn't. Let the JG steep for a couple months and compare.

Probably won't happen with this bottle, at a month old it's fantastic, and the only coffee-bacco I have. Maybe it'll last to the 2 month point, but I won't be surprised if I vape it up by then. Like I said, next time I'll get a bottle of light roast to vape and dark roast to set aside.

Started up Mango Lassi last night, and it's really opened up in the last month. I noticed the few times I opened it and shook it, the mango scent was getting stronger. It's one of the best fruit vapes I've had, similar style as the peach in Sweet Georgia Peach, but mango of course. I think it would play just as good as SGP if made into an aromatic. Seems like whenever I find an amazing flavor I want it paired with tobacco lol, but this one I think would really be special.

agreed on the Mango. I am also impressed with the Orient Whisper - same kind of thing where the fruit seems to get stronger as it steeps. And it is one I find that I want with a tobacco as well. I may whip something together there.

Sahara, Vurley and Velvet Cloud Vapor Blue beard if TA counts as a net. If not, the soon to be released QnJ vanilla net.

I've had the Double Barrel Root Beer. It's pretty good, though I think I like BWB's Root Beer better. I also had Shangri La, which is a peach/lychee combo. It's good, but not great. I like the unique combo, for sure, but wish I could get the same combo from a vendor the used brighter and more natural flavors.

Edit: Oh yeah, I sampled a ton of the arti-baccos at a vape shop and was mostly unimpressed.

Ahlusion just really has us absoultuely f'iing spoiled as far as impressing with authenticness and adding flavors that we request. Well, sometimes. I'm hoping N-E-T.com follows suite; they have the same type of 'scientist', for lack of a better word.

Oh, and I gave Nude Nicotine another shot. This time with flavored tobacco.

Dang, did I miss your post about Nude Nicotine straight-up tobacco? I have a few of their juices steeping.

For those that are curious, Nude Nicotine tobacco e-liquids are true NETs. The extraction is done in-house with flue-cured tobacco.

Anyone else getting antsy to see those new QnJ's put up on the menu?

When I received my last QnJ order last week, I had requested another Bacco-nilla which I like, they substituted the New Vanilla Tobacco :) with a note stating they had discontinued the other juice. Since Bacco-nilla is still listed, I'm guessing they'll just include the new formulation, BTW the bottle was labeled Vanilla Tobacco.

On another note, I tried Goodejuice Acadian Gold @18mg this morning after a 3 week steep, with my morning coffee. The Tobacco was moderately dry & mild, toasty with a hint of nuttiness, not 555 nutty, it was very enjoyable and paired well with my morning beverage. I couldn't help chain vaping it, the TH was of medium strength, noticeable and satisfying, my JDS was a new iclear16, voltage set to taste. ADD; returning to this juice just now, I find it more Woody than Nut.

Pirates Booty @18mg was my after-dinner vape used in a Tank Carto, voltage set to taste, steeped ~3 weeks. The Spice and Tobacco, I'm guessing Burley, blended well on the inhale, neither pushing the other to the side. The TH had a nice thump on the back of my throat, and the exhale had a slight hint of Cocoa, Spice and Tobacco. A bit more aggressive overall than the Arcadian Gold and suited to late afternoon or evening vaping.

Forgive me for being a bit of a name Nazi here, but it's Acadian Gold, not aRcadian Gold. As in Acadia, the area that Cajuns originated from in Canada before being forced to move to Louisiana. Cajun is short for Acadian. The name is probably a reference to the Perique in Acadian Gold as well, Perique being from Louisiana. This is the end of my rant about my favorite juice. Yes, I am protective. ;)

I've only had there NET offerings, but have been wanting to try their artibaccos for a while. Have seen mixed opinions on them, but they sound like I may like them. The Black Forest is a pretty unique offering that Luce liked, and Gold and TNO has it's share of fans.
