I'm looking into buying one of these and just wondering if anyone that is currently using one or has used one has had any issues ect with them? I'm currently using the Premiere Voodoo Hookah Pen and looking for something stronger and is adjustable. I'm not looking for a complicated mod or tanks that need a lot of maintenance. I enjoy the clean, fill, go kind of system. I want something that gives me a good throat hit and a nice vapor cloud. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

I am using the nautilus mini on a MVP2 at 9 watts, working great so far. I am glad that I have this set up as I like to fill and vape myself. But I do have to admit, the idea of building on has me very interested.

I'm not very mechanically inclined so building one isn't something I am looking into right now. Add in the fact that I am still pretty new to the whole thing, I have a lot to learn before I would even consider it lol I saw on another thread that they were having issues with a rubbery taste after a couple days of use...have you had any issues with that at all?

I have four of the Nautilus minis I use daily. They have been flawless.

You will need to change the BVC coil unit every 1-3 weeks, depending on use.

Highly recommended.

Thank you! The coil change sounds simple enough to do. Any suggestions as far as power? Not sure how well it would work with my current battery.

I use the full size Nautilus (I like the large capacity) with the bvcs. I've not had the issue with the rubbery taste. My only gripe is that no coil can handle my darker juices, MBV caramel coffee to be specific. For what you're looking for, it sounds like a great choice!

My husband has that issue with his, he is using the same one I am, with his darker juices as well. Seems to get gunky in the tank after awhile. I use mostly fruity or mint juices. I still haven't found a go to liquid yet.

Hey Teresa!
I see your doing your homework. Lol. Good for you. If i assume correctly, the battery you are using is a 3.7 volt, non adjustable kind. Saying that, there are 2 different bvc heads available for the nautilus mini. One is 1.8 ohms and the other is 1.6 ohms. Therefore when your battery is at 3.7 volts you will get 7.61 watts of power with the 1.8 ohm head, and 8.56 watts of power with the 1.6 ohm head. The bvc heads are known for liking a bit more wattage than your battery can put out. But it will work to some extent. I would almost guarantee them to work better than the tanks you are using currently. And glad to hear your wnjoying the juices you got the other day. Ill have to check em out.

Ok, so I know what tank I am going to try, now let's talk about power! lol If I am going to spend the money on a good tank then I want a battery that will make it work like it's supposed to. I saw on one page for the mini that for $85.00 you would get the mini and the battery. Aspire Nautilus Mini Official Promo Page Also shows a coil pack for $19.00. Is this a good price/combo? Not sure if this page gives a choice as to which ohm head you can get.

That's a silly high price, depending on what battery it comes with but $19 for 5 coils...no thanks! Sweet-Vapes has the coils for $10.99 and several great starter sets with vv batteries for very reasonable prices. 101vapes has the Nautilus (5ml) for $21.99 with 4 coils. Check around, there's some good deals out there.

Not a great deal. $24 or $25 is the 'usual' onsale deal. I've seen as low as $18 but rarely.

Nautilus mini: $24.95

BVC coils 5pack: $10.95

It's says with a Premium Vamo V5 mod and atomizer. Is this a good battery or are there better out there?

Nautilus mini: $24.95

BVC coils 5pack: $10.95

$60- Aspire CF VV+ 1000mah battery, Nautilus Mini Tank, 6 Nautilus BVC Coils, USB Charger & US Wall Adapter

Aspire Premium Kit - Nautilus Mini & CF VV - Aspire Kits - Starter Kits

There's lots of other starter kits around also that come with 2 batteries, so one can be charging while you're using the other.

Thank you both for the info. I will keep on looking and see what all I can find. I'm glad I asked before purchasing!!

It's nice to see someone using a Voodoo. That was my very first "real" vape experience. I don't really consider cigalikes actually vaping, but that is just me.

I have a Nautilus Mini, and got it like a month ago. Very good tank. However, I prefer the Kangertech Protank II after a month of comparison.

I run both tanks at 8 or 9 watts. They are both good, but the PT2 seems to taste a bit better, AFAIC.

Good luck finding YOUR vape! :)

The Voodoo has been a great first vaping experience for me.I hadn't seen anyone else that was or had used the Voodoo, you are the first.
Any time that my brother and sister in law were around I would always try out their new vapes, but wasn't really serious about quitting at that point. Now I'm looking for a step up while still keeping it simple.

I have the Nautilus Mini also and I also prefer my Kanger. I have the Aero Mega and for me the air control is better, it's easier for cleaning and refilling, it comes with an extra tank and the pyrex tank seems thicker and I like the draw better. The new bvc coils are really the only thing I like better about the Nautilus but they're both good tanks. I haven't had leaking with either one as long as I don't try to squeeze in too much juice.

Congrats on quitting!! I hope you find a system that works really well for you. Just an fyi, If you're ordering online before you might want to search the vendor on this forum and check out the reviews to make sure they sell genuine tanks/batteries and not cheap knock offs. With Ebay and Amazon it's sometimes hard to tell so look for descriptions that say "like Kanger" or "Aspire type" things like that tell you you're not buying the real deal. Good luck!

I was just reading another thread about the knock offs. I will definitely be looking to make sure what I'm getting is authentic, even though it seems that some of the knock offs work better and are cheaper. Since I'm just starting out though I want to make sure I'm getting something I will enjoy using. What is the difference you are seeing between your mini and the Kanger?
