And the liquid getting to the middle is called flooding. Iv seen this in most cases where the tank is not sealed properly and letting the vacuum out. As in a crack in the tank or not being tight enough. The other issue could be that you are not atomizing the amount of liquid pulled into the atomizer. Your draw creates a vacuum and pulls liquid into the atomizer. So its a perfect balance with the air control of the tank, how you draw, and the power supplied to the coil. Finding this balance is tough. And keeping it throughout a complete tank of liquid is even tougher. The main reason i only used clearomizers for a little over a year. Now its easy as drip, vape, repeat. Lol. I hope that kind of helps with some basics on clearo tanks. And if it just confused you, im sorry.

The only problem with the Nautilus Mini is just that, it's a mini. Depending on your battery set-up and 'looks' I'd go with the regular size. The only thing with the regular size is to make sure you get BVC coils for the tank. I say this because I have a couple older models, and just got the BVC, for my wife, and she loves them. She uses either my old eVic or her iTaste vv/vw. Yea, the lil'square one. She doesnt mind the tank being large as it lets her keep more juice in the tank at a time. If you are a single juice kinda person the mini may not be for you go with the normal size. As far as batteries, my wife loves her iTaste vv/vw. Its a passthrough, vv and vw. I picked it up for her for around 30ish bucks. I have several MODs she could use but she doesnt want to, she like the smaller battery that is truely easier for her to use, she's not mechincally inclined either. Hope this helps.

Her battery
Her tanks using BVC replacement coils.

P. s. the eleaf istick is a bit too new to have knock-offs available on ebay yet.

I have the itaste vv v3 and as much as I like it, I've only had it for a bit over a month and a full charge on it only lasts 5/6hrs. I'd like a bit stronger battery anyways but without a super high price tag so I've been looking at the Istick also. They're reasonably priced, like $35 -$39 or so and I found a vendor with free shipping so I might just order that one today. I want to do a bit more looking but for that price, why not try it! Tmcginnis78 have you decided on a battery yet?

This is looking like the battery I am going to be getting Cam.

The one thing I worry about going with the full size is not being able to put it in my pocket. When I'm at work my vape is always in my pocket so that I can just step outside anytime and hit it since I'm not allowed to do it inside. I normally vape roughly 2-4 ml a day, but I'm sure I will go through a little more with the new tank and battery.

Thanks for the all the info guys! Keep it coming! I have a week and a half until I'm ready to order.

Just want to add that the full size and mini have come with different atomizer heads. Full size with bottom dual coils and the mini with bottom vertical coils. So its bdc,s. and bvc's. they are night and day different. Lets keep this to only the bvc version as that is the better quality of the two and dont want Teresa to think that people are having lots of issues with the bvc,s that come with the mini. That being said, the mini coils fit in the full size tank and vice versa.

I'm a little late to this party, but I have two full-sized Nautis and one mini. I love them all. I'm running them mostly on my MVPs and my Sigelei Zmax V3 around 10W. You can get BVC coils from evape.us for about $10/5-pk. Watch rockbottomvapes.com - they frequently run a "Deal of the Day" (where I got my full-sized ones)

If I didn't already have 3 MVPs, I'd consider an iStick. I think that would work quite well with the Nautis. I have tried around 8W with them, and they're o.k. I tend to like slightly higher watts on them. I've not pushed above 11 because it tends to burn on me. I'm not running dark juices in them either (I save those for my KF or my Protanks because I can rebuild those heads lickety-split.)

Don't overtighten. Getting them apart the first time was "interesting", but now I just get them snug (and make sure to hold onto the top, as one time it tried to come loose on me....)

Good Luck - vape on :vapor:

I was talking with a guy at my local shop and he said he loves his mini and has about 6 of them. He told me that yes getting them apart can be a pain in the ....., but if I would get the steel? tank I would not have as hard of a time and wouldn't risk breaking the tank.
Any opinion on what this guy was telling me? True/False?

Maybe a little. Bc you are not as afraid to break the glass tank. Bottom line is you have to grab the whole bottom part ,including the airflow vent area(it will move as you unscrew). Some ppl dont want to adjust the airflow and try to unscrew holding onto the tiny bottom strip metal area. Goodluck trying to unscrew it

Hold the glass firmly but not crushing firm. Unscrew grasping the whole metal part. It will loosen and come off. I guess their next version they could make this issue "friendlier". But i can also see why it needs to be air tight to avoid leaks, noise etc.

I have the mini as we'll and was keeping an adjustable wrench on my night stand to take it off at first. if you put a few drop of liquid on that rubber seal at the bottom before screwing on the tanke it helps a lot. Aspire put it on there website in the news section so glad I randomly stumbled upon it one night. Here's what the website says...
Important news concerning the successful usage of the Nautilus Mini and nautilus.
FAQ: Important news concerning the successful usage of the Nautilus Mini and nautilus.
Subject: Nautilus Maintenance – Effective Sealing
Content:
It is good practice that during readiness of the Nautilus Mini or nautilus, you should ensure that all seals and attachments are connected or screwed down securely. We suggest the use of soft lint free gloves or cloth, much like those used to clean eye-glasses, to help with the disassembly so that you do not scratch the glass tank. We also advise the application of just a few drops of e-liquid along both the sealing silicone and rim of the glass tank for the first using, which will help to ensure a solid leak free seal exists during usage, and would enable you to unscrew and detached the bottom half for refilling with greater ease and a less likelihood of damaging the clearomizor.
