Nautalis Mini

Wanted to add something for people having trouble unscrewing the mini nautilus to fill. I have also realized that if I leave my kanger vv twist battery on when I start to open the nautilus the beauty ring seems to give you more to hold onto and the tank will unscrew easier( at least it seems that way to me) hope this will help anyone using the twist vv batteries who are having difficulty with this.

Hey Big Sis, i completely agree with putting eliquid on the orings of the tank anytime you put it together after cleaning. And the "priming" of a new atomizer head is a great habit to get into as well. Just a drop in the holes of the head so its definitely saturated before the first time you fire it. This will help from starting out with a crappy taste. And chances are your not gonna get the crappy taste out until you change the head. So two VERY good pointers from fellow members!!

I took my nautilus apart this afternoon, rinsed the tank, took the coil off and then wiped everything off. I let it dry, popped a new coil in, filled with some juice and that baby is awesome. Maybe I had a bad coil or maybe I did something wrong when I filled the tank the first time. Who knows... but I'm really liking it now.

You do realize when I get it you're coming to make sure I do it all right the first time!! LOL

And since I put this in another thread, but didn't really get a great response from it....I went and got a refill of the one juice I like and got another fruity one to try, tasted great in the shop and I asked her to make it a little sweeter and a little more emphasis on the flavor, stayed with the 80/20 mix ect. Got it home and it tastes awful! All I can really taste is and oil taste and it leaves an awful taste in my mouth. Any way to counter this "flavor" or is it a bust? I haven't been able to get back there with my hours to see if they can or will fix it.

I'm looking into buying one of these and just wondering if anyone that is currently using one or has used one has had any issues ect with them? I'm currently using the Premiere Voodoo Hookah Pen and looking for something stronger and is adjustable. I'm not looking for a complicated mod or tanks that need a lot of maintenance. I enjoy the clean, fill, go kind of system. I want something that gives me a good throat hit and a nice vapor cloud. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

You asked about issues, and I have to say I loathe the Nautilus Mini because it crackles and spits horribly. I know others have found the same, but probably a small percentage of users because it has so many fanbois here. It's expensive too, and for me the sealing ring makes it look cheap. I would recommend the Kanger Protank 2 or 3, both work great for me, they're less expensive, and coil heads are cheap as chips.

Are you rinsing the bvc coil with water when changing eliquids?

I would also make sure you didnt buy a clone.

Otherwise you might unluckily have a bad bcv .

Every once in a while it will spit but it shouldnt be frequent. Its too bad your experiencing issues. Its a really good clearomizer.

It had all the evidence of being genuine, and it was spitting from the start. Some folk have suggested a new pack of coils, but I'm reluctant to throw good money after bad especially because my Kanger and iClear toppers are working so well for me.

Kanger Aero Tanks work very well...

But, The Aspire Nautilus tastes so very much better.

Flooding and or Spitting could be due to one of two things, juice viscosity and or strength of draw.

Just my opinions, Jim

At some point you will have to buy new coils anyway. I had the same thing happen with the BDC(they just were crap) I tossed the 2 i had out and got BVC's. vaping like a champ now.

Well stick with the guys that are working for you. But if you want to give it another shot you could just buy one bvc replacement (for about 3 bucks)

I was having the same problems with my tank spitting and such. I took it apart and wiped everything down. I changed the coil out and then filled it up. It works absolutely perfectly now. It might have been a bad coil or it could have been something I did the first time I filled it. But it is a nice little tank now, I love it.

I saved the coil that I removed and after I try to clean it up a little I will try it again to see if it's a bad coil.

Thanks for all the great advice, comments ect everyone! I will let you know when I order it and come back and let you know how it's working for me. May be another week or so until I get it, but I am excited to try it out!

Do please let us know how it works out for you. Let's hope you'll be another happy mini user!
