My biggest problem has been getting my wick tight, no matter what I do I still have a hole in the middle. I rolled so much last night that the tips of my fingers literally hurt.....I was using a 1.5x3 inch wick, which according to everyone should easily be rolled tight to fit in the hole.....I don't know, just don't understand why I can't get it tight....
I have a ton of girl scout cookies in my basement right now....you wanna buy a case or 2??

I've read(but never tried) that oxidizing BELOW the tank can impede juice flow.
I don't really know...I hack off a chunk of ss material and twist it...lol...
I can say that the wicks I've rolled un-oxidized I could roll tighter than a gnats ......
The only one I tried pre-oxidized I could not do crap with it. Could not get any "friction" on it to get it tight.
Don't go by me however....I'm clueless. But my aga+ is rocking tonight. Damn near nic od-ing....lol

Well it's definitely the ZAP version Lox picked up another in the classies for himself - and both caps are tight!
I've oxidized only once rolled - no problem. I even added the cotton - have you tried that Jake? Oxidize after the roll and take a cotton ball - thin it out til it's almost not there (like angel hair) and lightly roll the top half of the wick on it - takes hardly any (but no dry burning!) That way the coil and the wick don't really touch so no shorts there.
Never occurred to me that you only need to oxidize the top half of the wick
but it makes perfect sense.
I started on a pin the diameter of a paperclip - once rolled there I take it off and start rolling between my fingers. It gets you started!

I might have to try that out if the one I'm working on now doesn't work.....I'm trying Pitt's method he gave me last night....we'll see how long this takes.....
I think I'm most frustrated because the first wick I did was doing alright....ever since then I just can't get one to wick worth a damn! I refuse to give up...
You can have mine if you would like! Jen doesn't like it and I am impartial..
I would do 1.5-2% shisha and then add pom, little by little..Maybe .25ml at a time. Do it in the same sitting, then every couple of days give it a taste. If it needs more pom, add it, repeat!
