Hey guys, I recently had an accident, and by accident I mean a plastic o-ring tank I had from a bit ago split on me and let loose all 7ml's of juice in my pocket. Luckily, I had just gotten home when it happened, so it wasn't terrible other than needing to wash the pants and trash the tank and clean the kit, but now I need a good cheap tank. I all ready have an Aspire Nautilus, I'm looking for a secondary so that I can flavor swap back and forth and have an easier time of it. Trying to stay away from easy to break tanks and o-ring tanks, and don't really want to spend more than 20 bucks, it has to be a 510 though to fit my lava tube. Any tips?
Edit: Also not sure if it affects anything but I usually burn between 3-4 watts.

A carto tank? I got no idea what you mean? Could you link one?
Is it a carto, a tank, or what? - focus on the carto and cartotank sections

IBTanked Pyrex Tanks - Review - least expensive yet high quality pyrex cartotank available. I have over a dozen used over the last two years and none have ever broken. Better flavor production and more consistant than any clearomizer.

Lot's of people like carto tanks. Surevapes.com I hear is a great place to get punched cartos and any order over $10 is free shipping (and fast too). I've ordered from them and will again.

I can't believe no one's suggested this but I love my Kanger Aerotank! I rebuild the coils but the stock one's are pretty good. If you look around you should be able to find one for less than $20! such as here: Kanger Aerotank - 101 Vape plus $2 or $3 fast shipping.

Or heck you can get a Protank 2 and an Aerotank base for less than $20 and it uses the original single kanger coils (super easy to clean or rebuild) with free shipping.

Might be time for a kayfun if you want to experiment with rebuilding. I thought it was going to be hard but it was pretty easy. Once you figure out a kayfun you'll retire your nautilus.

I agree, I had a nautilus for a week before I bought my first Kayfun. Rebuilding is much easier than what you'll read about. And honestly the initial set up, as far as supplies needed to rebuild, is gonna cost you somewhere near the same price as a pack of replacement coils for that nautilus. Not to mention that you'll buy replacement coils 10 to 1 to the supplies you have for the kayfun. So in short, a Kayfun is gonna give you a way better vape, in a more dependable device, at a cheaper in the long run price. Oh and did I mention they rarely ever leak?

I wish that I would've saved my money in the beginning and bought a kayfun and a dripper. To me, there's no other way to go.

Kayfun lite+ v2 or a russian 91% v2 and you wont look back at the nautilus, at least i have not. That is provided it fits your life style meaning you have time to re-wick it etc...
My nautilus was using a coil every day or 2 got me a russian 91% v2 authentic and dang glad i did better taste, better vape production, and just sturdy as a rock.

When I say fits your lifestyle, I know people who drive for a living and don't have the ability to stop and put cotton in the coil. they rather toss a coil and pop another in.

That carto tank looks a lot like the one that busted in my pocket. Just pyrex instead of plastic. I saw it would cost 30 bucks for a tank on ibtanked... That seems a bit much but is it worth it?... and I honestly would rather not bother with rebuildables, I rarely ever burn a coil, and it's easier to just pop a new one and go.

I carry a couple of the Vivi Nova tanks. I guess they are old tech now but can be had for under ten bucks. The ones I use have the long wicks and top coils. The do clean up easily with warm water and a dry burn. Coils are replacible but seem to last quit a bit longer than my Aspire tank coils.

For a pyrex cartotank, $25 - $30 is considered inexpensive. Should you happen to break the glass (heat tempered for greater durability), IBtanked has replacement tubes for only a few bucks. Are they worth it? I happen to believe so. Over two years I've accumulated over a dozen of them to carry multiple flavors.

You don't have to go with pyrex. I often recommend the Polypro tanks at My Vapor Store. They use polypropylene plastic tubes instead of the pyrex. Like pyrex, this plastic is immune to the Citrus & Cinnamon flavors which can crack or melt the clear plastic (polycarbonate) tanks. Something Safe for Cinnamon & Citrus Flavors.

I grabbed a couple Kanger Aerotanks from eBay that have been working great for me. Got two for under $30 shipped.

They can even be rebuilt if you would rather not buy replacement heads.

Kanger is good if you rebuild. Right now it's nit or miss with the factory heads, but you need them to recoil. 32ga Kanthal and organic cotton balls or 2mm silica rope wicks are good. I recoil my Kanger T3S heads and they fit in all the Protanks, the Evod, and the Aerotank/Aerotank Mega. There's not that much difference in dual or single coil at that level in the Kangers.

Somewhere in a postal truck there's a EHPro Kayfun 3.1 with my name on it.

The IBT is a "clone" of the J-tank

My J-tanks are now over three years old, and still work like new.

Now I see what you mean, the plastic ones are near 22, so spending 13 bucks more no longer seems bad for something thats glass so I never worry about what juice to be had. Can you buy the atty's from anywhere? Or does it have to be specific to that site? I do like that it's essentially just two o-ring bases and the tank with the carto, it means easy maintenance..
