so guys im using the ego twist with a 3ml tank...i bought some boge and smoke tech cartos from crystal clear vaping. there both lr..

i used a saddle valve to punch them,also i do prime the new cartos.. but every hit i take,on the exhale it makes my throat burn.. i can taste the flavor.. but it seems like im getting a dry it. i tried taking a few hits without battery power a fre times and it still hits like that.. i even tried a different on with 3 punched holes and it still hit the same. the first cart i punched was 2 holes.

without battery power? as in a "primer puff"? there are variables here as well....what ratio juice are you using? what type of flavor profile was the juice? how much nic is in the juice?

on to the saddle valve....how deep are you punching? once you hear the pop, you should only turn one more turn to get the ideal hole, if you punch too deep you may flood the carto, if you don't punch deep enough the juice will not get into the carto.

how are you inhaling? are you taking a drag directly into your lungs? that could cause this as well...try inhaling the drag into your mouth, and then taking the vape into your lungs with a breath of fresh air to cool it down and see how that works....

as far as the other variables, the nicotine is the usual culprit in terms of throat hit, and if you are using a really high nic juice, you can feel some serious burn sometimes....as for the ratio, if you are using high PG, you may be sensitive to it, and it could be giving you an abrasive feeling because of this, you may also be allergic to PG, in which case you may need to move to full on VG

I had the same problem when I first started vaping. I was using 24mg, and had been smoking light analogs before I quit. Not knowing how much nicotine I had been smoking in my light cigarettes, I found, that 24mg's of nicotine was high. I dropped down to 11mg and my throat felt much better. Then I dropped down to 8mg and the sore throats went away.

Low resistance cartos aren't for everyone. The warmer vape that low resistance cartos make can cause sore throat or make your throat burn. The vapor can feel harsh. Flavors may taste burnt.

If lowering your nic strength doesn't correct the problem, step up the resistance of the carto one step.

yeah and wen your taking those primer puffs without pushing the firing button, look for bubbles rising from the punched hole. there should be bubbles rising from ur primer puffs. If there arent bubbles, u arent puffing sharp enough. Primer Puffs = Short/fast strong.

the juice ratio is reduced pg ecto plasma, and yes i punch the cartos one full turn after pop like grim,always mouth inhale,16mg nic, i did take some primer puffs and there are bubbles. i think it just might be this juice. i will try a different tank. thanks for the detailed help it really help the new guys like me..

is your e-liquid 100% VG ?
do you have burn taste even on 3.2V ?

i have it set at 3.8v... im going to try a smoketec carto and see what happens.. i might also bust out the dremel and slot a carto
