So, a few days ago I got a letter in the mail saying the property management company in my community would be doing some "Tree Trimming". Looked out my window today and saw that they cut the beautiful Cherry tree that was in my front yard TO THE GROUND. I am FURIOUS.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with things like this. At no point did I give authorization for them to do this. I talked to the Property Management company and they claimed they were removing trees that were "Diseased or blocking sidewalks." This tree was neither.
Do I have any recourse? Can I force them to replace it, or am I going to have to plant a new tree myself? Can I sue?
