Well my faith in RDA's has been restored, albeit not on the A7 but the IGO-T which is vaping like a champ. Now I just have to master coil building better.

Just to make sure I'm doing it right:

When I'm building dual coils, I make a mirror image of each coil, right? So the under and over coils are facing each other on the same side.

On my current build, one of the coils appears to light up fast and even burning a little hotter. Any idea why?

Loose, dirty, incomplete termination, or unequal coil wire length.

In an ideal perfect world, each of the dual coils, are mirror images of one and other.

Which, if you wrap two exact coils, the mirroring will happen automatically when you go to attach them to the posts. I usually have a looped piece of a silica.. so one end is a loop, and the other, two open pieces. I wrap both coils starting from the loop side, wraping towards the open ends side. Then, when attaching the coils, the loops go to the outside of the atty. This makes them mirror each other, and, allows me to wrap those loops over each negative post when Im down, which is my go-to build for three post, dual coil attys.

ID post a picture, but I dont wrap shmexy looking micro coils. I wrap boring, spaced coils.
