I'm currently using kr808d-1 stick style batteries and recently started purchasing clearomizers. I recently got some from a vendor that look identical to the stardusts, but they look extremely stupid on these stick batteries. There aren't very many out there with the 808 threading and i'm looking to get a 510 model. I've been looking at some of the EGOs but they all talk about separate atomizers etc. Which model would i be able to simply screw a stardust/tank on and start puffing away? I really don't want to get a box type mod or one of the huge provaris. Just something that I could carry around in my pockets that wouldn't raise too much curiosity. Preferably something in the 3.7 range that won't burn my liquid when coming right off the charger.

Thanks!

eGo Twist. They are like $26 on Altsmoke for the 1000mAh version. I just got 2 of them to put my eGo Visio Clearomizers on top.

Edit: If you are a new customer just use a coupon the end of the order to get instant 10% discount. Coupons i know "FACE10LIKE" valid just for like them at facebook, "INDEPDAY" valid until July 4th 12:59PM EST and there another one but i forgot.

Aslo consider the Kgo, E Power (with replaceable batteries) and the X2 (which dos provides a passthrough feature)

If you are going to stick with a fixed voltage model, then I agree with either the Kgo 510 or E-Power 510 over the eGo. The eGo is only a 3.4 volt battery which is lower in voltage than what you currently have.

I would like a VV without it being huge ya know? It looks like the twist is the favorite so far.

@wv2win - I see you mentioned the eGo is only a 3.4 volt battery... is that the highest it will operate at? These current v2 sticks i'm using claim 5 volts and seem like they blast my cartos and burn them up right off a full charge.

If what you are using is a cigarette look alike, you aren't getting 5 volts from it. And the average mah of a cig look alike is around 200 mah. The eGo is 3.4 volts, and it's anywhere from 900-1000 mah. The KGO is a true 3.7 volt and the mah on it is 1100 mah. More power means a stronger/longer vape. The eGo twist or the KGO are going to be about the same size as a sharpe. These are the type of devices you need for the Stardusts etc...

Yes, it won't go above 3.4 volts which is why I don't recommend it. Many vets vape between 4.5 - 5.0 volts because of the warmer vapor and better hit from your eliquid. No small stick PV will deliver more than 3.7 volts. You have to move up to a good 5 volt or variable volt or watt model to vape in the 4.5 - 5.0 volt range. If you do that, I would suggest you check to make sure that the PV provides enough amps (3.5 or better) to be able to use any carto or atty and a mAh of at least 1000. And make sure it is power regulated with some form of boost circuitry so there is no drop in performance as the battery drains.

I recommend a kgo not an ego. Kgo is 3.7 regulated and the ego is only 3.4.

If you want to continue using your clearomizers without buying new one, smokeless image sells the X2 battery. It is the same thing as a kgo but with 808 threads. The clearomizers fit on them perfectly.

Smokeless image is having a great sale right now. 21% off. Code is independence. You can get a 1300mah x2 for $24 and it is also a passthrough

Ive been vaping for about a month now using the 650mah twists. Theyre fantastic. I usually get three to five hours out of one. you can connect whatever you like on there as long as its 510. Ive been rocking with a Dct tank, somedual coil and single coil cartos and the ego c tank atty setup. All are performing well and tsting great! The Kanger horizontal singlecoils seem to have a great warmth of vapour even at 3.2v. All the best with it mate :)

Yeah I don't want the 808 threading. I want a 510. Do I have to use a separate atomizer or can i simply put a clearo/tank on these and start vaping. The last thing I want is a 3 piece design.

Also since you all seem to know these things, do they make either of these in automatic? Or are they all manual?

Thanks again everyone.

Yes, to the first question and generally, no to the second question. Most find manual batteries much better. With manuals you have more control, warmer vapor and better hit. Manual batteries are sealed where as autos are not. Since autos are not sealed, it is easy for eliquid to leak into the battery which kills the battery. They are just not worth the hassle, poorer performance and cost for most.
